These are at the top of my list for my teens 08 jeep liberty limited 4x4. Not really off road, but a safe all terrain tire that will handle snow, slush, rain, and wet roads in the midwest where we live. Safety is my primary concern.
I've put these on my 2018 Pathfinder 4WD 2 years ago, 27,000 miles. The OEM Toyo Open County that came on it only lasted 30K miles... I live in upstate SC & we get some snow in the winter, & I drove them in 6 inches of snow & never slipped or loss traction. They are smooth & quiet at 70mph freeway driving also.. These are great tires for a crossover/ SUV..
Put these tires on my 2014 crosstrek. 225-60-17. I took them on very similar roads near Boone and a couple muddy roads and love them so far. Looking forward to seeing how they do in the snow.
Great to hear. These seem to be a well designed tire for Subarus that are used the way they were intended to be. I'd love to hear how you think of their snow performance as we might be moving back to an area that gets that frozen white junk.
Love these tires. Bought them for my 2018 Nissan Rogue SV a week before the heavy snow storm in the northeast (NY). These tires held perfectly in the snow, both on highway and back roads. I truly believe these to be the perfect cross between all season and winter tires. best of all a 65K factory warrantee. Fair warning, these tires, though the same size as the original (225/65/17) turns out to be about an inch or so larger. They still fit perfectly with no rubbing. Also worth mentioning, I agree, no extra road noise compared to my original tires.
Good to hear your thoughts on snow traction. Living in Western NY, like you, we know about the importance of tire traction in heavy snowfalls. These have become one of the top contenders to replace my weak factory all-season tires before winter.
Even though this is marketed as a mild all-terrain tire, I am going to treat it the same way I do for any other tire; I'm going to torture them off-road as well on pavement on winding mountain roads. This tire is the perfect answer to my needs, a pavement-oriented, 3PMSF-certified all-terrain tire. I won't hold back on these tires when I get them, whether I'm off-road or going to a track day event.
Thanks for making this video! I've been researching new tires for my Mazda CX5. It came with 19 inch wheels and so there are very few options out there for that size that are geared towards off road. I've narrowed down my search between the Falken and the BFG TA Sport LT. Those are the only two the have the industry severe snow rating with the 3 snowflake symbol. Not sure which way I'm going yet, but I really appreciate your video.
I’m not sure why you keep saying these are good if you have a small suv? I have a 2017 Honda Pilot which I put these tires on . I use it in my job at a huge trucking lot that is all mud and gravel and looks like the surface of the moon with all of its craters dips and holes and these tires work great on this vehicle! And yes I plan on taking it in some unpaved road adventures too and I know they will be great!
I’m getting these on my 2017 pilot and I bet I take them off road I plan on getting a 2” lift a bull bar led light bar and I’m going to be a guy off reading in something most guys won’t do it in IM also getting a wench just in case lol
Will they grip on a pretty steep rock/gravel covered incline? This was on a forest service road, got to the bottom easily but really struggled on the return trip up (front wheel drive SUV with all season radials). Did you happen to encounter anything similar? I need to get some AT tires and think the Falken Wildpeak Trail might be a good tire for me but...
Just ordered them for my 2017 2.5 touring forester in 225/55r18 because that is the size that was already on there. Should I have ordered the same size you got?
Any issues with tire rub? I have a 2018 Forster 2.5i premium black with a stock tire size of 225/55-18 and was wondering if the 235/50-18 would work or not. I do not want any rub at all. Thanks.
No noticeable increases of road noise over the stock tires But we do have WRX cat back on it so the exhaust note is a good bit louder then stock so that might drown out an increase in road noise that we cant here. In our diving its been rock solid in the corners and don't feel like the sidewalls are rolling over when pushed.
I love how ill-informed people make comments without knowing how capable a stock Subaru can be. And you know Rally cars can have a tarmac setup too right?
@@JayMarroquin w 0 articulation and suspension travel they are awful off road. How much ground clearance you have? 8in 😂 but muh perfect awd system and torquey low center of gravity engine that eats head gaskets. Dude it's not a rally car or an off roader, it's an economy car for the winter. a stock pickup truck will go further w ease and 0 modifications. Literally a camry w awd
*Installed and tires balanced perfectly as we all know some MT's do and some dont.💡💡 **allabout.wiki/Falken** These look amazing and perform just the same. Not to loud not to quiet. Love the look, would recommend.*

We put a set on our CX-5 last week and man do they ride nice and quiet. They look nice for sure and I am betting they’ll be great in snow.

I need these tires on my Forester XT. I hope they offer that on my country 🇵🇭
I’d pick these over and over again vs bfg ko2’s

Got this tires for my 2015 Pilot 4wd. Great on snow and twisting roads.

One year in how are you liking the Falkin’s?

How are the tires holding up? How’s the wear?
Any update on these tires ??
Any changes from your fuel consumption after using it?
Haven't noticed any major impacts on MPGs so for with the tires.

Help
Dude, I have 10xt ltd and just bought these tires. We should talk.

Other then the STI 19mm rear sway bar we are running a stock suspension and stock wheels with no tire rub.
I know you posted this 5 months ago but I currently have these on my forester sport (2020) 235’s no rubbing.

All terrains on a subaru? Lol I love how people think their stock subarus are rally cars

What, may I ask, do you drive?
I’ve taken my stock forester places before most other suvs wouldn’t make it. Highly capable car.
