How does it track or measure speed, angle, spin etc

I presumed that it was with the camera, however his camera was angled up and away...this confuses me; unless it went to some super-wide-angle shot...

The range is fitted with top tracer cameras. The range needs to be a top tracer range for this to work,ie your phone does not track the shot
