Saw this on the top tracer range the other day but haven't tried it yet. Seems a very good addition to the fun stuff that's already there.
Great video! I’m a year into my golf and currently going for a handicap. I usually play alone as I don’t know any golfers and score pretty well considering (mid 80’s). I think the pressure got to me when doing my handicap rounds as I was invited on to a 4 ball twice, I scored a 91 & 93. Really hoping I can have a great last round and get a lower handicap… this will be a great game to try on the range, I know to allow different distances to allow do the range balls 👍🏻
Good review, I went to one of these centres however the golf balls which they provided were inferior , normally I can hit a driver 230 yards, on this day it was registering 150 yard max.all the other players were having the same problem.
I tried this today. Didn’t have enough balls to complete the 30. Started on 18 by halfway I was on 12. But run out of balls at 23. Seems an interesting system.
My WHG index is 0.9 and I scored 1.1. I found it really useful although thought it could be very hash with getting driver on the 1st cut fringe but positioned well with good distance.
I replaced my Skytrak with a GC3 last year and one of the things I miss most with the Skytrak is the skills assessment that would tell you your appx hdcp from a specific distance.
That’s interesting Jacob. I got the Skytrak about a year ago and was considering upgrading to the GC3 myself. Worth it overall? Besides that one aspect you mentioned?
I love this new feature but damn it can be harsh, out of bounds is plus 2 straight away!
Nice video Michael… and v honest of you to publish warts n all! Went and tried at my TT range last night and was really impressed. Great addition to the approach and driving challenge elements of the app and will keep me honest in assessing my game’s development. Had 4 goes last night with a best of 5.0 and a worst of 8.2 hdcp. The game also gives you a points output too so you can compare with other players at your range (and around the UK/global too). TopTracer has been one of the best developments for practice for the amateur and pro alike..lol especially as you play in prevailing conditions being outside.
Would love to see a talented player like you do some more stuff with TT and put us choppers to shame 👍
Just been to the range and had a go on this. Only problem was the young lad in the bay next to me kept shanking it into the dividing net and it kept picking it up as though I'd hit the shot!

I am not a good golfer. Some shots can make me appear to be good. Best score ever was 87, and it was all downhill after that.
Played it last 3 times at the range, handicapped ranked 17.1 , 22.2 and 10.3.

Kind of useful, but not really though. On course you have different lies, weather, nerves plus putting !!! I have used the top tracer at my driving range and it was really useful for instant data on my shots.

We have that here BUT, the range uses limited flight balls. There are a lot of numbers posted every time a ball is hit, actual, adjusted, blah blah blah. Will never trust the carry numbers shown. Quite unhelpful and boring. Pricey too! Not for me. Sadly.😓
I did it finished +5.6 hcp and I think I hit 71% of greens. It’s kinda stupid becuz it doesn’t get the spin well. So it will roll forever. Idk it’s ok Ig
