Slightly larger than things like Cherokees, bonanzas, and Mooneys which gives it far more ramp presence. The radial engine also gives it more character. Both of which are things I appreciate. That mod to the windscreen is a vast improvement. The original had more glass than a battleship bridge. I envy you Tom, flying such a nice plane in such great surroundings. I hope you appreciate what a lucky man you are.
A littler version than what you’re used to. Lol. My son Corbin is in Air Cadets ( hoping to get his license in a couple years) and loving the simulators. I’ll share this with him!
Awesome job Tom! Just a bit different than the 787 😉, eh? Great camera positioning, just perfect and nicely done with the audio too. Love how can see BOTH the outside view and the instruments at same time. Really well done! Shocked you are rocking a 1980s DC 10.30 and don't have a Bose A10 yet though, almost all our FO's do! LOL (and take them off at top of climb). Hope to see you online sometime soon. take care
Thanks for the kind words Steve! I think the DC 10-30 is a great headset for a small plane. Protects your ears but still lets you hear all the clicks, burps and pops 🙂 I use a DC Pro X on the 787.
I’ve not found it difficult to find parts or service for the M14P engine. And prices for both have been quite reasonable. It is a gas guzzler though! 😁

That was a treat. It's hard to explain to people why the 18T is so special. This is one of the best videos that captures it.
Thank you! They have tons of character don’t they? Great aircraft.
Beautiful Flight classic Yak-18
Nice video Tom. Great with the ATC audio too 😎
Thanks Tango!

Awesome Ally! Hope he likes it.

Great stuff!
Excellent plane.
