I’d just like to add! That when you said ENFPs can come across as an INFJ and other types despite the fact that they are technically ENFP. It’s probably why our empathy levels are so high because we look at the morality of individuals first and their actions after so we can see ourselves in every person in some sort of way. Which in a way makes us pschoanalytical and extremely adaptable. We see ourselves in other people, easily connecting why people would act or behave in certain ways. ENFPs can chameleon at times to be other types because they relate to all types at least at one time in their life and never forget it.

very true!!!! im enfp.....sometimes i lose touch with feeling. mostly im all about gathering info, ideas, creating and organizing those ideas and info, analyzing and organizing in categories, searching patterns and creating connections and building my own structure.....in extreme details, with rational application...so much so that i can sit in library with books and computer for 8-10 hours or i can talk for hours discussing ideas without getting tired. It energizes me relaxes me greatly. sometimes when there is noone to discuss, i talk to myself and have a long conversation until i relax. :) I never felt im an extrovert but i am quite gregarious when i'm in a group. I love crowds and i like to be very active and initiating within a group. Still I like my own times for endless mental exploration where i learn and analyze so that later i can go and help others with that knowledge. My hobby is to give advice and mostly people reach upto me in my lonely tower to get my advice. i have my own philosophy, sayings and theories for everything. i have hundreds of friends still im mostly alone in my tower. in another word, im everywhere. lolz. i consider myself an ambivert in true sense coz while interacting with others, i become quite flamboyant, and extroverted and at other times when i am alone, i fit in the description of an introvert. but thats my researching mode, i still need to get my message out. Your video is extremely accurate.

Finally! An ENFP description, that resonates mostly with what I feel like! I'm happy go lucky, when necessary, but I analyze all day long--to a fault sometimes, way more than I "Feel" like being jolly lol. It's almost like I'm jolly around people (in fact, most people's descriptions of me would be happy go lucky honestly), but when I'm by myself, all I do is either contemplate about things, analyzing them in my head, or research videos, and writings, to then analyze. I feel more at ease, doing the latter, than being happy go lucky, but I thoroughly enjoy both. However, there is NO QUESTION that I am a "feeler" compared to a "thinker," with regard to being an ENTP--they think (process things) differently than I do.

    • @AnneDalton82
      @AnneDalton82 11 місяців тому +5

@@LaniBeanzYES. I often wonder if this trope is just rampant by people who aren't under the surface sort of people. They take people at face value in which you see an enfp being cheerful and bright and idealistic and that's that. We aren't the best at articulating our ideas when emotions are high and are better writing our thoughts down or needing to think for a bit before speaking, but we are thinking very deeply and complexly!! Perceiving strong ideas and concepts and reaching profound conclusions!! Sometimes I often have to catch myself allowing myself to be the 'dumb' person in a group just to keep peace and not be overwhelming with all the thoughts and ideas I really have going on underneath. Enfps are ambiverts/introverts where they have this bubbly exterior as a means of, 'lets get this conversation with a stranger over pleasantly, so I can go back to what thoughts I was doing on my own!'
If you aren't an under the surface sort of person and think an enfp is just an airhead social butterfly, that's all an enfp is going to show you! The deeper sides to themselves are kept safe and given to those they trust with their deep thoughts, which is why Enfps "collect introverts" cause ENFPs are just more socially capable introverts, and find deeper connections with deeper introverted personalities who also like under the surface sort of relationships!

Normally ENFP is displayed as this ridiculous character in MBTI UA-cam videos...a type that is often presented with the harshest stereotype...but this video truly adds something of value. As an ENFP I can be ridiculous and I embrace and enjoy it...sometimes just to annoy the hell out of horrifically predictable people, but... I am also the ENFP described here. I wholeheartedly appreciate the depth this video adds to the analysis of the ENFP. We aren't incompetent cartoon characters basking in delusion...unless we want to be of course and we'll be excellent at that as well. Thank you for adding depth to the conversation! Not an ENFP myself, but based on the Enfps i know, this analysis is one of the rare accurate descriptions of this type on the internet. NeTe description is so spot on, and so is Fi authority - them being just confident (generaly), big characters and unbashingly themselves, this makes other people rely on them a lot and be at ease with their presence and humour. Also we need more debunking of innacurate stereotypes about the oppositional Si.

Wow, thank you very much for laying that out. I have tested as an ENFP many times over. Other sources were able to get me into the ballpark to understand myself. But now, I think I found my place on the field. I was very suspicious about the social butterfly and spontaneous stuff. I understand why others may think I am spontaneous. My thoughts may seem spontaneous (ideas just happen, and I express them), but I don't do anything until I perform long analysis, internal deliberation, and somewhat detailed planning, allowing room for improvisation. Yes, I start many projects, but I don't leave them because of boredom. I put them on hold because I have determined that something is an immediate priority based on holistic considerations. But the projects do get completed. I have ten or more books open at once. I just know that certain days I will not truly absorb the information because my interest shifted that day, week, or month. But the books get finished -- with understanding. This video nailed it.

You absolutely nailed it! Thanks for the more thoughtful, in depth description of the ENFP. I have taken multiple tests and ENFP is always my outcome yet I can't relate to the stereotype of constant novelty/thrill seeking and need for new exciting experiences. I consider myself very grounded and at times a homebody yet there is also a strong desire to connect with a certain few core friends and family. It's a balancing act.. I can go out roller skating or dancing with friends, be the life of the party and thoroughly enjoy it but then a part of me can't wait to be alone, watch videos like this, write down my thoughts and process the pattern and connection of it all. Some people have laughed when I said I was part introvert but those who really know me understand both people and time in solitude recharge the batteries. Regardless of what function is dominant there is always a need for a bigger purpose and to figure out how it plays in the grand scheme. A teacher once described it as meaning making intelligence. I'll stop tooting my own horn but it is a gift to have your foot in both worlds. Thanks again. :D

This analysis is phenomenal and I think the explanation that many of us ENFPs have been searching for. In particular, the fact that many of us can be highly logical and analytical -- hell, I can best my ENTJ brother at chess and strategy games -- and have no idea what we are feeling about something until 3 days later.
As you mentioned, ENFPs can categorise things as INFJs and can often mirror many of their attributes. This is something that I have keenly noticed, and perhaps is the reason behind the INFJ/ENFP personality click.

We're walking meta-interpreters; interpreters of interpretations between everything. I feel like that might be the best way to simply put ENFPs.
For example, you're probably an ENFP who is on a youtube voyage rn trying to get different explanations of yourself. You are then taking all of those, connecting the points between explanations, events, people, feelings, behaviors and ideas. Things are making more and more sense, you can really feel the synapses connecting in your brain. You use people's frameworks of ENFP to understand other other's frameworks of ENFP. This is meta interpretation, interpretations of interpretations based on interpretations, your own analysis, and your self image of everything.
People who are more linear and organized in their thinking, their brain is like a tree. ENFPs and other similar types have a brain like a spider web. In a web, every idea is connected to every other idea. This makes us phenomenal at making connections between ideas, and also immensely incomprehensibly imaginative. Tree brains, all 'branches' are connected, but only by the other branches, and not directly to each other. This makes them much more organized and concrete in their thinking, but with fewer connections between each idea.
    yeah.

Wow. This is the second enfp video I've seen of yours, immediately following the first so back to back, and during both, you've completely changed the way I view my own self worth in a positive way. I never knew why I thought the way I do, and having been called annoying told I talked to much, shut up, too many questions, all of the things you might say if you want to snuff out the creativity and highly instinctive wonderment of a child and turn their naturally optimistic view of the world into a very cold and uncomfortable one.. And it's taken me till 31 years old to find, learn, and understand that I shouldn't have had to been subjected to that treatment. And all these years later I find myself drawn to uncovering all things ideas and concepts related to existential philosophy. I knew for sure I saw the world very analytically, always pondering the deeper questions, deeper than the ones other people would consider deep. You've made me very happy and broke open the lock I guess I put on myself many years ago in an attempt to fit in and seem normal. Thank you.

I relate a lot to this. While most ENFP type descriptions is accurate to when I was a kid, this seems more like a matured ENFP.
Similar to the INTJ descriptions being wayyyy too focused on the thinking function, ENFP descriptions have been written with so much focus on the feeling function and socially extroverted aspect that I can’t recognize much of myself in it. There is also rarely a mention of a philosophical or organized side, which I have always had (compared to my messy ENTP brother).
Being less socially extroverted, more organized and more philosophically inclined than most ENFP descriptions, I thought I must be an INFJ, but it never felt right. Thank you for this video!

I myself have been struggling to understand my type because of the stereotypes. I do feel at home with ENFP, but there is also a lot of things that I don't agree on. Like for example that ENFPs love everyone and are always kind. Or that we are master procrastinators and never get anything done. Or that we are these extroverted unicorns who feel a lot and have no logic.
For me these are not true and it has been confusing me. I'm highly empathetic, but my logic is strong and more often than not logic is the one I base my decisions on. I recognize my feelings and why I feel in certain way, but I can use my logic to make decisions that are best for me and for my surroundings. Just because I'm empathetic doesn't make me an idiot.
I usually see the bigger picture and sometimes struggle to have solid opinion in subjects that have too many sides on them. Like for example politics are really hard for me because I feel like I can see the bigger picture, but every side has valid points and understandable reasons for those opinions. These questions of course only give me hardships when they don't touch on things that I have strong values on.
I also struggle with this idea that ENFPs are clumsy, unsystematic and procrastinate all the time, because even though sometimes my trail of thought might seem weird for others and my actions might seem unsystematic, almost everything I do and act upon has logic and plans behind them. I use calendars, planners, spreadsheets and notes to plan my life because I can't get things done if I don't plan them first. I'm also usually the leader and the coordinator in group projects because I can see in which order and timeframe things have to be done. I'm good at planning what others need to do and making sure that they do their tasks in time. I've also found that people seem to like me as a leader because I'm ready to help them when they need help. Once again even though I'm empathetic, I still make sure everyone does their part and that every project is handled like it should.
I'm also not this social butterfly, even tho I do enjoy social working. I still need a lot of me time and for example prefer to live alone. I'm more than okey with being alone for weeks, but I also enjoy being with people. I enjoy talking and expressing my thoughts and feelings through talking, but I also like writing and thinking by myself. When I speak, I usually do it with confidence but also humility to show that people are welcome to challenge my opinions and that they are not supreme to other opinions. I really love to be challenged and it also kinda gives me a permission to show my confident and hard side which is usually hidden beneath my always laughing soft side.
I sometimes get frustrated because I've seen many people claim to be ENFP, but they have no logic at all. They don't seem to be able to see the bigger picture and just act upon feelings. Then they get angry at others because they are not acting empathetic enough as if that's a proof that they are not empathetic. The more time I spend in ENFP groups the more I wonder if I'm mistyped. I think I'll look at ENTP side next to see if that maybe fits me better.
Anyway, thanks for the video! It was really eye-opening! 😊
In the end, I'm still not sure if I'm ENFP or not. I need more information about the functions and how they mix together.

Thank you for this video! For a bit I was struggling with sense of self-imagine and was worried I was losing the "better" version of the happy-go-lucky person. Sometimes it was hard to feel comfortable around other people and it scared me that I was no longer who I wanted to be. I am definetly still silly around friends and family, but I am much more analytical then modern typers would portray us as. So it refreshing to hear this version of ENFPs that is not brought up as often and makes me not feel as guilty for willing to challenge the status quo, follow more logic solutions for societal problems, and being overall an analytical person. This has made me feel that I really did not lose myself throughout it all, thank you!

  • @HareAndTheHatter
    @HareAndTheHatter 4 роки тому +12

First of all, thank you for this wonderful video! Your description of ENFPs is one of the most accurate ones I have heard.
I feel like the happy-go-lucky novelty seeker stereotype describes an ENFP in a particularly good mood, but most of the time, your description is far more relatable. I'm still processing it, and will probably watch the video again, but I really enjoyed it.
Your points about Si were very interesting, especially the part about having designated times for certain important tasks. I literally punched the air when you said that because it's the part of my personality that has always confused me and made me question if I was an ENFP. I don't actively seek novel sensory experiences. I am very comfortable eating the same thing every day if I like it and know that it's good for me, for example. I also like to go to certain bars and cafes that have a special meaning to me. And when I was living abroad, part of me wanted to go and explore every part of the city, another kept wanting to go back and explore the same place that I had found particularly compelling. But I do get very excited by new information, and the way my mind perceives and works with information is very much the Ne-Te you described.
I work in theatre, and even before I had learned about personality typology, I always used to think about how you need to be able to hear the same words and do the same things over and over again without going crazy in order to stage a play, make a film, paint, or do anything artistic really. In that sense, it seems Si plays a pretty big role in enabling creativity.
I think an ENFP with a strong Fi objective can be very organized, analytical, focused, and disciplined, even reclusive. I really enjoy strategizing and planning routines to maximize productivity, but I do have trouble actually sticking to the same one for more than a week without it negatively affecting my mood. When that happens, I know to switch it up.
I was wondering if you could explain how Fe manifests in ENFPs. I know that in Socionics it is the Demonstrative function and is supposedly very strong, but I am really interested in what you have to say. :)

    • @CognitivePersonality
      @CognitivePersonality  4 роки тому +11

Thank you so much! Heh, yes, the Si-side of the ENFP tends to go overlooked - this is partially owing to what I consider to be a misunderstanding of the important role the oppositional function plays within the psyche.
I'm really not a huge fan of this whole 'assigning a function in x position a specific role/archetype' thing but to answer your question regarding Fe in an ENFP - this function is the sub-authority and thus pushes forward an agenda in an albeit unconscious and more secondary manner, but it is also a function the ENFP dips into from the position of Te in order to more effectively communicate their plans to others and ensure a cohesive social atmosphere :)

    • @ruthlessruth4197
      @ruthlessruth4197 4 роки тому +1

That’s very true! I love to create routines for myself! If it’s something like, the place where I put each of my work tools when I get home, so I know where they are in the morning and don’t have to stand at the door for ten minutes mentally wondering if I’ve forgotten anything- a routine like this can remain unchanged for a long time and it won’t “bore” me.
But if it’s like a route I take, accessories I wear, my hair, foods, etc.
I like to get familiar with something first by making it into a routine (depth exploration), and then change it up suddenly when I get the feeling for something new (breadth exploration).

Cognitive Personality Theory That also makes a lot of sense. I will use my Ne/Fi which is always focused on win-win ideas to benefit everyone. But my Te delivery sometimes comes out as sounding entirely task-based and devoid of empathy.
People sometimes really mis-read my intention because of this. I would like to be able to use Fe better in these situations.

Thank you, this is by far the most nuanced description of the ENFP and their functions that I've ever seen. This is the first time I've heard ENFP's described as analytical. I've been torn between ENFP and ENTP. Because I value both detached, logical, critical, analysis, of both external (political, economic, etc.) and internal (philosophical, value, psychological.) systems and intensely enjoy philosophy even in its most pure form of analyzing existence and existential questions with no human relation. But I also feel like I have deep Fi like values and convictions and deeply value being true to myself and my principles.
I love how you said that there's no essential dichotomy between thinking and feeling. Obviously we humans are both thinking and feeling beings. And its nice to see an mbti analysis that reflects my own non-essentialist philosophy on life and especially humanity. You obviously have incredible insight on this issue.

I'm an ENFP, growing up I did not get out much and was socially starved, (toxic family situation) the few times I was out in social situations I was absolutely 💯 that social butterfly type described as the typical ENFP. I would have a small group of people where I could anchor myself then run around a flit from each group of people and say hi to every single person I would ever remember meeting. 😂 I later learned that a lot of them did not even remember me from the times we had briefly met. Like I said socially starved. I knew I was extraverted because anytime I was alone I would get incredibly depressed and my perspective of reality was screwed and I thought the world was ending.
Since growing up and moving out I was still very extraverted - wanting to talk to and meet new people...I would say hi to strangers in the grocery store.....
Now days the social interaction that I once craved leaves me feeling exhausted.
Like a starving person will crave food, but once you have food you can differentiate between good food that satisfies and junk food that makes you sick.
Now what I look for in my social interaction is quality. I HATE small talk, waste of time, I want to talk about your concepts of right VS wrong, God, morals and ethics, what do you think about the economical systems and which one do you prefer? I do a lot of research and study on my own particularly with topics that interest me. I struggle to finish the random drawer of projects and end up passing them in to my sister.
I'm the start and she is the finisher, we joke about it all the time.
I have always had a sense of self that I could never explain before. But I also became a social chameleon...I really struggled being true to myself and currently working through that now.
I have always been obsessed with lists and systems. And how to do everything the "right" way, I recently realized that there was nuance to everything and more than one way to do it.....but I still have perfectionist tendencies.....idk if it's from the trauma or just me lol.
That's another thing .... Figuring out if I am ME or the Trauma talking. Anyway this video shed some light for me so thank you. God bless, new subscriber 💕

I am creative and free-spirited in many ways, but I am so analytical and conscientious. I like to perform and meet new people, but I seek deeper connections and a better understanding of others. I also want to add that most MBTI descriptions sound like horoscopes to me. Your explanations are so much more nuanced and logical!

wow !! thanks so much this is almost an emotional experience, listening to you describing and understanding me to a T. Making all the world labelled paradoxes in who I am so logical and normal. Because that's what I am to me, 'normal' and 'logical' and yes funny enough the social butterfly, novelty seeking, adrenaline addicted personality I get thrown on me quite often or ................moody.........just because I am optimistic most of the time but I don't hide when I am affected by the world 'negatively' or feel thrown off. But people just don't get it. When they think I am impulsive many many processes have taken place inside of me before taking action. So yeah I completely resonate with this I am still figuring out how to make this all work for me instead of against me. step by step I am getting there ;)

    Awesome discription!
I told the other person who also did the 16 personalities test with me the exact thing you are saying: I recognize just about everything, but it lacks the introverted/analytic part of me. I am a social butterfly when I am in the presence of other people, but I also really enjoy being by myself. In fact, I can be by myself for a much much longer period of time than I can be in the presence of others.
I am always aware of my internal processes and love philosophy.
Where I work (a social cooperation where everyone is equal), I do coaching (which covers my need for social contact and intimacy), am in the board of the company (covering my need for teamwork and analytical/abstract thinking) and run my own company -also coaching (covering my need for authenticity and autonomy). All together it covers my need for change and to act on multiple levels. And it shows my chamelion like ability to fit in whatever role is necessary.
I feel very lucky to be where I am now :)
    Thank you for this insight!

I love this! I was confused about my type several times being an ENFP-A with 5-4-9 tritype. When I started watching the videos of this channel, I was finally sure that I am actually an ENFP, no doubt. Recently I became confused about my type again that if I am actually an INFP or INFJ or not. But my Ni, Ti these functions are quite weak, so I started to doubt if I am actually an INFP rather than an ENFP. Then I again came to this channel finding this video and again totally could relate with this. This videos are totally mind changing with new, quite interesting, unique descriptions and thorough analysis through the functions! I am loving all of this, thanks a lot for both such wonderfully and differently explained (which my Ne basically craves for and she loves that) and delivering the clear conception about the personality. 😀 & those gaps between lines were really decent and good for understanding with patience and thoroughness, without pulling the seek back for further understanding. It was made very thoughtfully and carefully, no doubt. 🤔

😮 Whouuuu that was such an amazing view on ENFP, I must say that in my 20s I was a lot like it is described on the test results description. I was trying to know and understand myself in a deep level. But now that I'm in my 30s I drastically changed to that Analytical and philosophical type. Who is trying to understand human nature in a very deep level as you describe, because I'm so aware that change is needed in our society. But having these deep views makes it hard to stay around people that's why I give myself a lot of alone time to dig deeper away from the crowd. We can end up seeing the world in away that others cannot as we try to be close to the truth in an objective and logical way. But truth can often be hard to digest. As you said from our Si we use Te to found the ressources that will lead us to the path that will not only help us but also others.

I really enjoyed this video! So much so that I wrote a long comment that got deleted and I am back to try to re-create what I said. Everything you said shows you have taken time to really think about the functions that an enfp has and how it could show up in the real world. As you mentioned extroversion does exclusively pertain to how people show up in social situations. Even though I do enjoy being around others and being involved in conversations I prefer having a small group of friends, having one on one conversations rather than group conversations and often I remove myself from the group totally just to sit on my own which makes others more uncomfortable (they think I am lonely but I am loving the space). I appreciate how you described Ne as a wide angle lens, that is a simple description that makes extroverted intuition easier to understand. Also, oddly, your statement about having an exercise schedule is so true for me. I feel like the best version of myself (mentally more than physically) when I regularly (daily) take the time to be active. I stick to a schedule to make sure I am taking appropriate supplements to my diet, I stick to a skincare routine and more etc. anyway I could go on and on but this video was very well done. Thanks for your hard work in putting this together!

When I read the functions for the first time, I was sure I had Ni and Ti in my function stack! Even in function tests, it comes as dominant Ni. I'm really glad I've finally heard it from someone. I have to perceive every little thing as what it is and understand the logic behind it when learning something, only then I feel like using Te all the time. When learning something there are so many times I've used more Ti than my friends with high Ti. So, thank you for this amazing video!

Damn, sir. I learnt and resonated A LOT with your description. Especially new cool fancy words like behest and plethora. 😂😆
Your way of talking is very professional and sophisticated. The way you have presented your insights verbally, it's apparent that you put a lot of thought, time and effort onto it. So, yes! Thank you for debunking our myths!!! I really despised the *rainbow unicorn hyperactive annoying nosy talkative* stereotype of Enfps as there is more concrete individuality to us. We put too much struggle in developing ourselves, so calling us scatterbrained is very insulting.
    Anyhows! Subscribed!!!😁

Thank you! Phenomenal explanation! I’m not sure of other ENFPs modus operandi, but my internal dialog is that analytical “spiderweb” of neural connections. I believe that everyone finds categorization of the ENFP as problematic because of our adaptive nature. I noticed that around 26 years old that the temperament, type humor, and level of depth in which I converse all shift with a fluid automation between those “Social Butterfly, Campaigning, etc” modes instinctively. What do you other “Bimbos” think? 🤣

I just discovered your channel and I’m blown away! A few years ago I got very involved with researching everything I could about MBTI and the cognitive functions, but a lot of the material I read online just seemed confusing because… Well, I never really understood why it was until hearing the way you describe auxiliary functions/codex vs. lens/flipping axis, etc.
Your system makes sense, and is actually the way I ”felt” about each type’s perception/assimilation/motivated action. But the way the stack was described, and the supposed lack of each type’s ability to actively utilize the functions “lower” in the stack just never felt right for me, personally. I also love that you describe the feeling functions as having a limbic component. I have visceral realizations- daily! Haha Keep up the great work and keep your videos coming!! Thank you!

Very helpful. The diamond shape behind you makes it look like you've got a Dracula cape on. I'm an ENFP-T (turbulent). The descriptions of many ENFPs on paper seem to be more geared towards ESFPs. Do I get really energized about something and immediately want to share it? Sure! But when I was a baby, my grandmother called me the little inspector. I can still pick out patterns very easily and notice things that most people will miss. And that's not a detail thing to me. It's openmindedly noticing what is not in the patterns or what else is in the patterns, as well as what may be considered obvious. And then I can't find the ketchup in the fridge that is literally in front of my face.

Glad to see an objective, serious analysis of the ENFP type. So much of what you say is correct. But, like so many others, you limit Typology to four functions. In the case of ENFP, it is Ne, Fi, Te, Si. The reality os that all of us have Eight functions. In the case of ENFP, it is Ne, Fi, Te, Si, Ni, Fe, Ti, Se. The first four may be termed the Conscious functions, the last four the Subconscious functions. As described by Jung, we develop these functions with age and maturity, starting with Ne for the ENFP, INFJ and others. We develop these functions with life experience, but only access the subconscious functions within the stressors of a challenging life. Thus, some of us may never quite grow up. But for those of us who learn to access the four subconscious functions, a complete, wholistic life may be realized. This applies to all Types.

    • @CognitivePersonality

Hi! I don't limit the ENFP to four functions, nor do I limit the cognitive functions to eight. Rather, I place all functions on a spectrum, and it is this fluid spectrum that is the underlying emphasis of my videos :)

Thank you so much for this video! I have encountered people typing me as ENTP because I don’t relate to my emotions swaying my actions. I have always loved my Te.
When I decide to sit down and work on something, I imagine my Te and Fi having a conversation. Fi decides if this thing is important enough for me to sacrifice other things in my life, and once it decides it does, Te has hold on my decisions. For example, working on a project is incredibly important to me. However, I also like hanging out with friends and new people. I am able to swat away my impulses based on what I have decided I wanted for myself in the future.

As an ENFP, I can’t tell you how refreshing this is. Yes, we can be a social butterfly, but that’s only sometimes, if we feel like it.
I am definitely an extrovert because when people are around, I definitely prefer to interact with them and this energizes me. But when I need to de-stress, I need to be alone or withdraw. Otherwise, I don’t have a chance to work through my feelings.
And my INTJ husband always tells me how logical and analytical I am. And that means a lot coming from an INTJ! 😁

ENFP Personal Values and Motivation: I found that basic ethics, and spending time understanding the most fundamental laws of the universe, along with socially relevant credible facts is hugely important for me. Also to keep up to date with modern science. Speak in generic terms, and avoid bias at all costs. Cherrish yourself, even though it's against your nature perhaps. Gain deep empathy for yourself, family and friends. Don't neglect your personal relationsips, and understand equal value in every perspective and approach. Careful making decisions, and accept help structuing your ideas first. Be flexible to change your opinion, and listen to others without reacting. Don't be afraid to tell someone you need to sleep on it and chat the next day, or week. Don't make too many assuptions. Preceive to understand the interrelated individual and group level social impacts of your logical systems. I speak in public...in an emotional manner, such that I can be highly motivating...and rather convincing. I can be a teacher, but only in subjects that I've mastered. Someone else would need to write the curriculum for me, and constantly challenge me. My basic goal is to move towards and maintain harmony within my spiritual life, and maintaining my personal boundaries. To practice what I preach. This type of writing is something Ive developed...but wow its hard. I speak casual af in person... I think I am ENFP at the moment. Hope it helped. I'll have a different answer next week LOL.

This is a very thought provoking perspective of ENFP.
I definitely relate, although, one of my Gallup Strength Finder Strength is Strategic, not analytical. I am very Strategic I do think logically, but I am very adept at emotional thinking as well. 😂
I have become more introverted over the years, needing to spend much more time alone, and I've always been a shy extrovert.
I will only be a social butterfly when I feel safe in an environment. Otherwise, I am very quiet.
    Loved your video.
