It's such a refreshing change 😊 I played lots of FPS last year with friends overseas which I wouldn't change a thing, but ever since the new year I've invested time into singleplayer games and I have no regrets! Games like BG3, Resident Evil series, Souls series etc. It's great to take time back for yourself and wind down on games you want to without the burden of other people's schedules! Best of luck with everything you got this!
Final Fantasy 12 is such an underrated game in the series. Probably the most successful attempt at modernizing traditional JRPG combat while still keeping it recognizable, some of the best exploration in the series, a really unique progression system, just a very engrossing game.
Nonsense criticisms of the game by reviewers hurt its reputation in the West. The gambit system was criticized for allegedly making the game too easy, by "playing itself". Vaan was viewed as a late addition and self-insert slate. He was thought largely irrelevant to the story. What this tells me is that the reviewers of the time failed to appreciate an elegant realtime-with-pause system and also missed most of the character development.
What I disliked about FF12 as it had been released and I played it, there was no real protagonist. Vaan leads the story, but loses it's focus as a MC and get's replaced by Balthier (storywise). After I replayed the game 15 years later, I liked that shift.
The combat system is great, but I like 4, 6, 7, 9, and 10 better which is probably why it's "underrated". Game kind of sucks story-wise compared to all of those games. It's so dry and boring.
For me personally couldn't get Immersed at all. I could maybe see it in the main quest, but I feel the world is very lacking in Immersion past that. I played it on a PS4 pro, with the final last gen update. It was glitchy as hell but without a doubt one of the greatest games I've played in my life. Never did I get so immersed into a game so much. In fact, it got me into playing Skyrim for over 60 hours until my game files got corrupted for some weird reason.
Pleasantly surprised by Cyberpunk 2077. After watching the anime, I bought that game and LIVED THERE for months. And they really went all-out with all the different endings too. Incredible game and world.
@@t.t6294 But with 2.0 comes some of the worst level scaling in any game though. Killing Arasaka big bots at level 2 just makes the latter parts of the game seem meh.
I love the story about your Dad and FF12. I've been playing Tears of the Kingdom with my daughter since it came out. We're invested in it together now. I unlocked the end game ages ago but she doesn't want it to finish so I guess we're finding all the Koroks haha. I'm so grateful to have that experience with her
The last dungeon, last boss and ending is fantastic, too. Make sure you have all the tears to unlock a bit of extra ending and all the allies helps, too. It was my GOTY last year.
Absolutely love TOTK. I played it with my daughters too. They're massive Zelda freaks ever since they played my copy of Ocarina of Time 3D. These moments are the best
That’s nuts!!! My 8yr old daughter and I took 250hrs to see the end credits then she wanted to beat Ganon one more time lol! While I still hold BotW as the better game I can’t deny how fun it was to play with her. We’ll never forget those moments, I’m glad you had them too👌🏾 I guess it’s just something with Zelda and daughters: the late Robin Williams had the same connection.
My birth father was also in and out of jail my whole life. My step father, my dad, was also a gamer and its how we often and still do bond. We started with old ms dos games from commander keen to space quest to civilization series. To the ps3 era when I was leaving high school. He was in the military and we didnt get a lot of time together. So when big releases would come out, he would buy them and let me skip school the next day or two and we would take turns going through them. My mom always gave him crap for it but it was worth it. The last time we did this was when my mom went to visit her mother and she specifically told my dad to not buy a ps3. He dropped her off at the airport and came home with one. We played God of War, Assasins creed, Cod4 MW, and uncharted for nearly 2 weeks. Those were good times. Sadly he went a bit over board on religion and flat earth and we dont talk like we used to.....
Your gonna really let beliefs come between the love mad friendship between yall two? That’s the man that raised you. Your dad is right actually about believing in a Creator.
The best thing about Baldur Gate 3 beside the game is that it introduces me to the best game reviewer on the internet.I'm glad my viewership has made a tiny contribution to paying off your house 😆
Theres something about that game that, while it might be not the best game objectively, is just so special and ethereal and memorable. My #1, mostly for the aesthetic and OST and the gambit system.
I'm so happy to see Cyberpunk 2077 being regarded as a great game and worthy of being in people's lists of favorites. I always knew it could bounce back from it's disastrous launch and it certainly has become one of my favorites too.
I thought to myself that CP 2077 was going to end up as another Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines situation (horrific launch, much maligned, then people came around to the gem underneath) and I'm glad I was right. Listening to Mike Pondsmith on the in-game radio talking about in-universe conspiracy theories while cruising around one of the coolest cities in all of video games is top immersive.
Mike Pondsmith is truly one of us nerds. Listen to him talk about how some people thing Johnny's malarion pistol is possessed by a cyberdemon is truly insane and the guy just revels in the lore and the world he creates. He would live in that world if he could, and that's just nuts in a good way, ha ha.
By far the best UA-cam about , please keep up the amazing work. Everything I see you buy a new game on steam or add something to your wishlist I always check them out
This is such a good delivery of this kind of list im glad you love these games and this kind of stuff really shows how much games can affect and become such helpful moments
Can't agree more on Cyberpunk. The writers on that game really need all the recognition. It immersed me without me even realizing it because every interaction big and small felt organic.
Yeah, I also feel like the city itself is very immersive. Riding around at night and looking up at those huge buildings really imparts this sense that Night City has a lot going on behind the scenes. This might sound weird, but one stand out moment for me was when I decided to climb up on the ledge of this building, then saw another one higher up, and kept going for what must have been about 10 stories. I jumped onto the balcony of a building across from me, and there were all these NPC's walking around, an elevator that I could have just taken in the first place, and another street up here that I recognized from earlier. Something about that amount of verticality and interconnectedness just makes it feel like a real place.
@@TurdF3rguson LOOKING up those huge buildings? You'd be surprised how much you can scale some of them with the double jump skill. Can get quite high and unique angles EDIT: Just finished reading your comment lol. My guy!
That bit about your father really hit home. Dads are so important, and I'm grateful you had someone to step into that pivotal role for you during your most impressionable years.
My favorites are DAO, KOTOR 2, WOTR, BG3, DOS2, Witcher 3, CP2077 and The Mass Effect trilogy. (Yes I'm claiming 8 and Mass Effect as one game now that I am allowed with MELE 😂)
Good list. Bit surprised by Origins though. That while amazingly executed was just so familiar and borrowing so heavily from other titles that for me it felt like I had played it before. At least with sequel they had balls to try something new story wise.
I'm glad someone also likes specifically KoTOR2. It's terribly underrated in my opinion and often seen as worse than the first game, which is simply not the case. It was rushed but the community mod pretty much finishes it, it's honestly a 10/10 game for me.
Oblivion is also my favorite elder scrolls game and I really get that feeling of being lost in it. Whenever I'd talk about it with my friends it was like this endless magical game that I could play forever. I'll always love oblivion lol I try to play it once a year.
i was replaying oblivion, but its not for me, it commits one of the biggest sins in rpgs for me, scaling enemies. even though the combat is more snappy than morrowind, i feel like the world of morrowind is more fun to explore, also, the intro mission in oblivion i find obnoxiously long. i can see how others might like it, and i still think its a better game than skyrim. but i just hate scaling enemies. its a massive deal breaker for me unless its really well done.
@@marcosdheleno the beauty about that tho and is another thing about oblivion I love is that you can just mod it and fix that lol I spent a lot of time learning how to mod oblivion growing up lol
Haha, when you were explaining how internet was not a big thing back when you were playing D2, I immediately had a flashback of using my dial-up modem to get an 'ultimate' D2 build guide written in NOTEPAD. Those were the days... 😆
Oh yeah! And they would have the really cool looking logos made from nothing but character data? Like borderline 3D effects using nothing but the @, -,/, and \.
I mean just having a PC at all wasn't guaranteed at that time. I remember when tablets started coming out and my high school teachers acting like it was this insane technological achievement, and that wasn't even twenty years ago lol.

Morti, I started watching your videos a view years ago, when you recently started doing this full time. I'm very happy to hear that this has provided you a path to success. Keep up the great work.
So this is my first comment on your channel , beside i like your content and the way you handle games , i can say that today i also like your personality , you're a natural person true to themselve and not ashamed of who they are , please stay that way , we need more natural content creators that they are not afraid to open themselves to their viewers and share what keeps 'em humans , good luck on your career and wish you to you to reach your goals and dreams !
I'm pretty sure I ran across your channel and videos several times already in the past (I'm a huge Dragon Age fan and played a lot of BG3 recently), but this steam summer sale I got Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous and that's what made me a subscriber - your videos have been invaluable in allowing me to stick with the game and not feel overwhelmed by the initial learning curve (to be sure, I'm still on it, only just started roaming around Kenabres), and they keep being a massive help in learning how to play and handle the game. Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure your videos about Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous, Pillars of Eternity and Tyranny were what eventually convinced me to chose Wrath of the Righteous from among those three as the best game for me. And now I get to find and watch all your other content as well - I think you make some excellent stuff! What I guess I'm trying to say is - thanks for making all the content you do, it was and is both very helpful and very entertaining.
I'm so happy to see Cyberpunk 2077 on this list. Such an amazing game. Yea, it had a rough start but at this point it's one of my favorite games of all time. As for Divinity, Baldurs Gate etc.: These games look super interesting to me, but for whatever reason I can't figure out how to play them properly. It always feels like I'm stuck at the very beginning of each game and I don't know what to do about it
The story about your dad was so sweet!! LEGO Star Wars the complete saga is one of my favorite games for a similar reason. Me and my dad played that game front to back together so many times, finding every collectible and 100% every level. It was something we really bonded over and looked forward to playing together. Those will always be some of my favorite childhood memories
Much love to you man. My dad was also in prison. I'm glad you are finding healing and doing well. Thank you for all the amazing content, your channel is one of the very best on this site.
Thank you for sharing the personal memories of your Dad. I do like to find out more about my favorite creators because often times I feel people forget that creators are just normal people with lives and their own stories. Your content is awesome and this list has a few games on it that I have not yet played. But the ones I have played that are on your list are definitely on my favorite games list also.
A lot of UA-camrs do a fantastic job of explaining why they favor certain games over others. None of them add as many relatable personal reasons as you do, and that is exactly why I like your channel. You explain yourself so well that I can, with great accuracy, know if I will enjoy a game based solely on how you describe your experience with it. Looking forward to you being a regular part of my weekly UA-camr rotation for video game news and coverage for a really long time man! 🎉
Baldurs gate 3, cyberpunk 2077 and elden ring are my top 3 favourite games of all time. No other games have had me so engrossed and the depth in all three games are second-to-none. This is a great video and a great list!

You’ve got me in the mood to share. Here are 7 of my Favorite games of all time, games that I will never get tired of. 1. Halo: Combat Evolved. (My very first game and one me and my brother bonded over a lot when we were kids) 2. Bioshock (the first time a narrative of a game completely engrossed me) 3. Pokémon fire red gen 3 (my first Pokémon experience on my gameboy advance) 4. Fallout: New Vegas (the RPG that made me fall in love with RPGs) 5. CoD Black Ops 1 (I just love this CoD so much, it’s just oozing personality and is still probably the most unique entry In the franchise IMO) 6. Dark Souls ( A game that feels like home, my brother got it for me for my birthday in 2013 and we quickly bonded over the experience of the game. Priceless memories) 7. Prey 2017 (A criminally underrated game with criminally underrated DLC. I come back to this master class every other year or so. So many different ways to tackle the game and always something new to find)
got back into playing wrath after the recent dlc and finished my demon run at like 3am last night. went to bed afterwards and ended up laying awake thinking 'do a winter oracle next'-'remember that dracolich idea you had?'-'but I want to do a legend run as well' to me thats magic right there and the game easily deserves a spot in my own top 10 games as well
I’m new to your channel and loved the personal anecdotes in this video. Also loved reading your comments, I can only hope when I restart UA-cam I get commenters and subscribers so thoughtful and engaged as yours
Congrats on your house! As a regular viewer of your channel I am always happy to hear positive updates of your life! (BTW I don't even play BG3 myself lol.)
Your anecdote about FF12 had me tearing up! It's so lovely that not just art itself, but how we INTERACT with art adds so much meaning. It's a beautiful thing about life and being human.
Oblivion was basically my door into being a RPG enjoyer. Or rather say being a hardcore gamer. before oblivion i was just playing Battlefield and COD(i was pretty young back then.. maybe top young for that). Then around one year before Skyrim released, i just saw Oblivion in a store for 20 bucks. I picked it up because it looked cool. And then it hit me. This game opened a new dimension in gaming for me. Thats why despite BG3 and Witcher 3 (or maybe CP2077 patched) are like my most favorite RPGs of all time, Oblivion has a special place in my heart
I prefer Morrowind, but I will never forget the first time I played Oblivion when it came out and exited the jail, stepping out onto the shores of lake Rumare, the sun painting it in hues of gold and the White Gold Tower standing tall behind me is a memory I will never forget. 😮
Ayo a feature film length WoTR video is coming??!! That's what I love to hear. Honestly all the games you've chosen have resonated with me. Really love this channel. Great work!
I loved Like a Dragon, it was my first Yakuza game and man... I've been missing out. The game surprised me from top to bottom, it's full of goofiness and funny situations, while the main story is super gritty, dark and sad. Absolute masterpiece.
I also loved Cyberpunk from release, I saw something in the game that no other had really given me its strange. Definitely a top 5 for me. So many genuine moments in the story.
I'm a long-time gamer and I really enjoyed your commentary of your favorite games. From watching some of your previous videos, I had a good idea of what some of your choices would be. ☺
Because of one of your videos I fell in love with Skald against the black priory. I am now desperate to play a game of similar story and go through your videos.... Gosh! What a treasure!
Great list ! Many of those are also my favourites. Thank you Mort for an entertaining video and I'll also be sad when we no longer have any WOTR content.
Glad to hear that Baldurs Gate 3 went so well for you. I found your channel when i was looking for BG1 and BG2 guides in preperation for the BG3 release a few months prior. :- D They helped alot and i loved BG1 and BG2. Really glad that i played them for the first time before the release. I really struggeled at first since i never got warm with CRPG before in the past. But then it clicked and i had a blast! Which lead to alot of other crpg. :- ) You paid a big part in that, so thank you!
Closing in on a thousand hours in WotR, partly because I need a newer computer to play BG3 without crippling lag, but also because I keep coming back to it (currently on my fourth run, trying for Sadistic Game Design). Was lovely to hear some of your anecdotes about the times that these games point to in your life.
I was lucky to be born at the start of gaming, My first gaming system was Pong, then i went through them all Atari, Amiga, and their Commodore 64, NES, Sega, Phillips CD-i, 3DO, TurboGrafx, X-box, Sony, and now a high end gaming PC I've owned them all. I've always loved gaming, and i too have my favorite games, they bring happiness to me so I really understand and like this video. Thumbs up.

Your dad is whomever you want to be your dad. I feel similarly in that my father moved halfway across the country and, while i wasnt formally adopted, my dad is who some would call my stepfather. I can't overstate what fount of good and compassion you are. I wish i knew people like you in my personal life.
One thing I love about this list is that although it features games as old as 2000, the top 2 games have been added within just the past 2 years! Really goes to show that its not all doom and gloom in the games industry, at least not for crpgs.
Really great video, Mortim. The anecdote about your dad was genuinely very touching… and weirdly, so was finding out that BG3 paid for your house? It’s a great game and definitely in my personal top 3 of all time- even without it funding my mortgage 😂. I’m glad such a great game also was such a windfall for you!
Divinity 2's progression system is such an elegant way to give players hundreds or classes/sub classes in a digestible package. Love WOTR, but the freedom of character creation and classes system in DoS2 is something that I hope becomes more prominent in CRPGs (granted, ones based on ttrpg will be more restricted).
Cyberpunk 2077 is in my top 5 for sure. It was the first game i ever preordered and even tho it was rough at launch, I had so much fun playing it at launch on my XBOX one X... Then i experienced it how it was meant to be played on PC recently with some QOL mods. Simply an amazing gaming experience. It may be a great idea to link the reviews of each game if that isn't too much work for you. Great video my friend.
Good video and list. While I'm in no way a fan of the Pathfinder games, I could watch your videos on them all the time. Always enjoy when someone's love and passion for something shows.
Some of my all-time favorite games are. Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Mass Effect Trilogy, Metal Gear Solid Snake Eatter, Dead Space, Arkanes Prey, and Skyrim with mods of course.
What did you enjoy about Elden Ring more than any of the Dark Souls trilogy? Genuine question. Its a fine game, but the biggest difference for me was the open world, which I found extremely lackluster. There wasn't really anything interesting to find in the open world and so after a while it just felt tedious to ride around in and made me miss the tight level design of the Dark Souls games that you still got a taste of with the legacy dungeons. Felt like a lot of missed opportunity, and the overreliance on repeat boss fights for the side content was pretty lame too. For these reasons I am genuinely curious what about it puts it above its predecessors in your eyes.
@globmonkey200716102 the open world was my favorite part. The way the world seemlessly ties together is amazing. The sheer beauty of everything. The vistas and landscapes. I wanted explore everything I could. I combed over everything I could. I sunk over 200 hours in my first playthrough. The amount of items and weapons and armor sets to find are what I like finding. The sheer freedom in the game is remarkable. I somehow found myself in The Siofra River well really early on and was just amazed at everything I kept finding. Always something new. I'm still waiting on Bloodborne to return or get a pc launch. That game holds a special place in my heart as well. But Elden, for me, is my favorite game of all time.
Not afraid to admit that your BG3 content is how I discovered you, although I've stuck around since :) I enjoy your reviews, and went back to watch earlier ones to find out your opinions, as I find you have a fair approach. The 100% is more of a bonus thoroughness than anything haha. My 7 favorite games ever include: Borderlands 2, Hollow Knight, Final Fantasy VIII, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Ratchet & Clank 2, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and, most recently, Elden Ring. Pretty all over the place in terms of genre, I have to admit lol. There were a lot more FF and Zelda titles on the list (hence my username), but they've fallen away one by one.
I grew up with Morrowind, Baldurs gate, Icewind Dale, Diablo. And when I heard Larian Studios was behind the helm for BG3, as a Belgian and Divine Divinity fan, I was so stoked for that game. The only time I actually bought a game in early access, and I am happy for them it was a huge succes. Now if beyond good and evil 2 would finally release and be actually great, I can die a happy man.
I've got WOTR in my library waiting to be played, and I'm quite hyped up to play it eventually, mainly due to your channel bigging it up so much. However, I'm just coming to the end of Baldur's Gate 3, which has taken me about 8-9 months (on and off, been playing other things in that time too), so might take a bit of a break before venturing into another massively long game!
As someone who also loves Diablo 2, you should really check out project diablo 2, it’s probably the best mod I’ve ever played and feels like a natural extension of the base game

We’ll never forget those moments, I’m glad you had them too👌🏾
I guess it’s just something with Zelda and daughters: the late Robin Williams had the same connection.
Flat earth and theological differences be dammed call the old man up to play some games , we don’t have forever
Your gonna really let beliefs come between the love mad friendship between yall two? That’s the man that raised you.
Your dad is right actually about believing in a Creator.
Dude, call your dad!
The best thing about Baldur Gate 3 beside the game is that it introduces me to the best game reviewer on the internet.I'm glad my viewership has made a tiny contribution to paying off your house 😆
I love that FF12 is one of your favs because of the time spent with your dad. He sounds like a great dad and I’m glad appreciate him so much.
Final Fantasy XII made it !!!! My favorite RPG ❤
The best FF game.
Theres something about that game that, while it might be not the best game objectively, is just so special and ethereal and memorable. My #1, mostly for the aesthetic and OST and the gambit system.
I love how open and honest you are dude; it's rare, and I respect it.
I'm so happy to see Cyberpunk 2077 being regarded as a great game and worthy of being in people's lists of favorites. I always knew it could bounce back from it's disastrous launch and it certainly has become one of my favorites too.
The Gambit System was *chefs kiss*.
Can get quite high and unique angles
EDIT: Just finished reading your comment lol. My guy!
Jesus dude that was a heavy origin story drop hidden in there. Glad you’re doing good despite it all
modern, fully updated Cyberpunk with the amazing DLC is one of the greatest games ever made, glad to see it bounce back the way it did
That bit about your father really hit home.
Mass effect definitely deserves to be mentioned as a trilogy
FF7, Halo 1, Zelda ocarina of time, BG1
The Dark Brotherhood storyline in Oblivion is one of the best of all time.
YOU paid off your house bud. Great work, great chan, great vid.
@@RupertMDoc Indeed. 😁
I mean just having a PC at all wasn't guaranteed at that time. I remember when tablets started coming out and my high school teachers acting like it was this insane technological achievement, and that wasn't even twenty years ago lol.
@@MortismalGaming Most of my teachers at that time didn't even know what a PC is. :D
The story behind ff12 is yet another example of why I really have a great respect for you because whenever you share anything about your personal life it feels very honest and genuine so of course I connect with that and respect you alot because of that honesty. I truly do feel very happy for you in that youtube has given you alot and I think you deserve mate. May you continue to enjoy the better parts life for the rest of you days and thank you for sharing with the world. 🙂👍❤️
Videos like this are the reason I’m subscribed. Feel the same exact way about Oblivion. I remember staying home from school when both my parents were at work just to play it.
It always feels like I'm stuck at the very beginning of each game and I don't know what to do about it
Stuck on combat, or not feeling the story?
The story about your dad was so sweet!! LEGO Star Wars the complete saga is one of my favorite games for a similar reason. Me and my dad played that game front to back together so many times, finding every collectible and 100% every level. It was something we really bonded over and looked forward to playing together. Those will always be some of my favorite childhood memories
another great example for the gabit system is unicorn overlord, spent hours optimizing each party and it felt great
Yup! The foghts are not that long (usually2 turn fights) but its pretty cool, i knew how to workthe system the moment i played it because of ff12
Love how there's awesome Mortismal lore in these videos.
Finally someone who gives Final Fantasy XII the recognizition it deserves.
Great video, thank you!
I just got Pathfinder WotR last week pretty much exclusively because of your content and loving it so far!
Baldurs gate 3, cyberpunk 2077 and elden ring are my top 3 favourite games of all time. No other games have had me so engrossed and the depth in all three games are second-to-none. This is a great video and a great list!
i'm very glad we share a lot of favorite games with you.
On the other hand, i didn't have a difficult life when i grew up, but playing games to escape from the bad parts of our lives is something that really resonated with me, and make me feel connected with you in a different way i do with other youtubers. (yeah, i know it's a parasocial relationship, but it's one i enjoy a lot)
Also it was thanks to pathfinder: wrath of the righteous i discovered this channel, and became one of my favorites. I'm glad your life is much better now. keep the good job, we'll be here watching your content.
Morti Bro, u broke me with your story : being adopted and how you played games with your step Dad, you really deserve all this and Im so happy for you and your success with this channel and Im really impressed with your hard work and dedication, I hope that you keep doing what you doing cus you doing it in such an Unique and Original. way.
GodSpeed
You’ve got me in the mood to share. Here are 7 of my Favorite games of all time, games that I will never get tired of.
1. Halo: Combat Evolved. (My very first game and one me and my brother bonded over a lot when we were kids)
2. Bioshock (the first time a narrative of a game completely engrossed me)
3. Pokémon fire red gen 3 (my first Pokémon experience on my gameboy advance)
4. Fallout: New Vegas (the RPG that made me fall in love with RPGs)
5. CoD Black Ops 1 (I just love this CoD so much, it’s just oozing personality and is still probably the most unique entry In the franchise IMO)
6. Dark Souls ( A game that feels like home, my brother got it for me for my birthday in 2013 and we quickly bonded over the experience of the game. Priceless memories)
7. Prey 2017 (A criminally underrated game with criminally underrated DLC. I come back to this master class every other year or so. So many different ways to tackle the game and always something new to find)
got back into playing wrath after the recent dlc and finished my demon run at like 3am last night.
went to bed afterwards and ended up laying awake thinking 'do a winter oracle next'-'remember that dracolich idea you had?'-'but I want to do a legend run as well'
to me thats magic right there and the game easily deserves a spot in my own top 10 games as well
I’m new to your channel and loved the personal anecdotes in this video. Also loved reading your comments, I can only hope when I restart UA-cam I get commenters and subscribers so thoughtful and engaged as yours
Amazing game choices, with thoughtful personal anecdotes. Thank you for sharing. It's always wonderful to see FFXII get some appreciation, too.
I love how sharing those moments with family makes games so much more special
Appreciate the sweet and chill videos! Found you through your Tactics Ogre Reborn review, and have stuck around since.
Man, I been watching you since divinity era, and I can say you still surprise me with your life stories, thank you for sharing your life with us
Oblivion was basically my door into being a RPG enjoyer.
Great list. Great video. Really appreciate you opening up about the personal attachment you have to FF12.
Ayo a feature film length WoTR video is coming??!! That's what I love to hear.
Honestly all the games you've chosen have resonated with me.
Really love this channel. Great work!
Probably at least 4 hours yeah
I loved Like a Dragon, it was my first Yakuza game and man... I've been missing out. The game surprised me from top to bottom, it's full of goofiness and funny situations, while the main story is super gritty, dark and sad. Absolute masterpiece.
I also loved Cyberpunk from release, I saw something in the game that no other had really given me its strange. Definitely a top 5 for me. So many genuine moments in the story.
I'm a long-time gamer and I really enjoyed your commentary of your favorite games. From watching some of your previous videos, I had a good idea of what some of your choices would be. ☺
I love your videos and have been following the channel for a while. Congrats on the house! Just really happy for you :3
Because of one of your videos I fell in love with Skald against the black priory. I am now desperate to play a game of similar story and go through your videos.... Gosh! What a treasure!
After what you said about Baldur's Gate 3, I love it even more! Keep on the good work!
They helped alot and i loved BG1 and BG2. Really glad that i played them for the first time before the release. I really struggeled at first since i never got warm with CRPG before in the past.
But then it clicked and i had a blast! Which lead to alot of other crpg. :- ) You paid a big part in that, so thank you!
Always love to hear bits and pieces of your personal life. Thanks for sharing your story about your dad!
Thanks for sharing your experiences beyond the games themselves. We appreciate information, but we love this channel for the humanity you show.
Thumbs up.
My Top 10 Games of All Time
-Dragon Quest 11
-Mortal Kombat Deception
-Skyrim
-Final Fantasy 12
-Divinity Original Sin 2
-Baldur's Gate 3
-Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen
-Kingdom Hearts 2
-Diablo 3
-Borderlands 2
My favorite review channel! You always my go too, keep up the work!!
You deserve all the success you've gotten so far!
Your dad is whomever you want to be your dad. I feel similarly in that my father moved halfway across the country and, while i wasnt formally adopted, my dad is who some would call my stepfather.
I can't overstate what fount of good and compassion you are. I wish i knew people like you in my personal life.
Divinity Original 1&2 have special place in my heart.
Thanks
and thank you!
Playing with dad and creating cherished memories. Excellent video btw!
One thing I love about this list is that although it features games as old as 2000, the top 2 games have been added within just the past 2 years! Really goes to show that its not all doom and gloom in the games industry, at least not for crpgs.
The atmosphere of oblivion is truly special. Its a beautiful and bright and sunny world that I will happily explore again and again.
Did not expect to get Mortismal Lore in this video. Nice!
"BG3 paid off my house". 😂 Loved the anecdotes about why the games you chose were your favorites.
Thank you, for your reviews.
I'm not good at many of the games covered here, but I watch the videos anyway because the coverage is so good.
Loved the frank, matter-of-factly, way you speak on this video, friend, specially about the house and the adoption. Amazing job. :)
Congrats on your success! Keep it up.
love your channel du, i always watch it
Some of my all-time favorite games are.
You got yourself a new subscriber! Loved this video!
This list of games is amazing! Great job, dude. ❤
No way, I was literally wishing you had one of these videos yesterday.
Love the honesty and personal touches in this. Having a game pay of your house is a valid reason for putting it in top3. Happy for you!
BG3 makes my list for personal reasons too, fantastic to play with teenage kids 😂
Oh, how far we have fallen from FF 12. Haven't been excited for a ff since then.
Great list of games!
