@@RyderinoBriggerinoIf I'm correct, Malekith got burned to near-death by the Flame of Asuryan when tries to take the Phoneix King throne. So yeah, when Regie described his Lokhir's face got burned, it's kinda close to Malekith lmao
I used to play Lokhir a lot in Warhammer 2, and he really benefits from the all the new elements of Warhammer 3. I've developed a risky, but potentially very profitable (and quite thematic) strategy for his faction. Instead of building up the territories of Cathay, I invest everything in the Black Ark and Lokhir's army. As I wipe out the initial undead enemy, I raze all my settlements and set off into the ocean, leaving the ruins for the the locals to fight over. Using the Sea Lanes mechanic, I can quickly arrive at the east coast of Naggaroth before my treasury depletes, and attack Karond Kar (nominally Lokhir's hometown, but in the game it's infested with High Elves). This gives our boy his canonical capital city to work from, and leaves him in a very strong position, with his army and Ark now able to mop up Alith Anar and strike out almost anywhere in the world. Granted I've only actually gotten that far once, but that's mainly because I haven't played Lokhir very much on Immortal Empires, and even then I managed it by turn 25.
Nah. Just build a Corsair doomstack. With lokhir they get some outstanding buffs, including stealth and vanguard deployment. And turns out enemy archers just instantly die if you put 3-4 squads of corsairs behind their ass. And infantry could be kaited until the run out of any will to continue this bullshit. Easily takes on full 2 stacks of cathay
If the local authorities called me at work to tell me that a deranged alcoholic plowed into my house with a school bus and killed my family instantly, I'd tell them to put the investigation on hold until I watch Reggie's latest Warhammer video.
Lokhir's Corsairs with Handbows are actually incredibly cost effective if you upgrade him right. Then you push maximum money into the unique Black Ark, unlock Shades, then easy mode walk over the rest of the area. That said, I haven't played since the new DLC came out. So things might be a bit more difficult for him these days. Oh, the other thing is you can have a Black Ark for each port you own. The "increases sacking income in area" buff stacks/stacked, so you can get truly ridiculous amounts of income from sacking settlements. Plus, as other people have said, the AI doesn't count docked Black Ark armies when it tries to assault cities.
didn't know Reggie had a second channel but that's gonna be an instant subscribe from me I main line this mans content into my brain its so good and hes quite funny
I usually play Lokhir by sending out my black arks full of deranged army compositions to capture as many port settlements as I can, allowing him to immediately build yet another black ark. Black arks make units in their armies extremely cheap, and sack settlements for a lot of money, I love that lokhir can pump out these little money printers almost every turn and very quickly smash boats full of dragons into hapless future employees’ homes.
If you keep Lokhir 🐙🐉in Cathay but send the original Ark straight to Lothern you can take it with a stack of shades NP. I like to send the Chimera and recruit Fire Sorceress. It allows you to Ally minor H elf factions, potentially get heros. Then every capital you take in Cathay recruit a new black ark and dock it. THE AI DOES NOT TAKE DOCKED ARK UNITS INTO ACCOUNT. It makes it cheap and easy to hold the major cities. I then take Lokhir on a quest for the best battle traits; Nakai, Ghorst, Drazhoath, Azhag, Thrott, Throgg, Archaeon, then Wurzag, Kroq-Gar, Tiktaq-to. Lokhir is only dark elf dragon w regeneration. The map expanded mod is awesome.
When i do Fellheart, i follow few simple rules: 1) invest imediatelly on black ark in order to recruite from there Doomfire Warlocks and Shades. Dont lose units. Also park black ark on exposed port settlements. It's like a magnet. All will smash their head on black ark. Easy win. 2) early on, make money from wrecks on the sea when you have the opportunity. Great reward, sometimes. 3) dont overstrech. Secure a flank and expand on the other. On south i kick lizzardmen and gift settlements to Eastern River Lords for becaming ally. They never broke the treaty. 4) i ussually go west towards that mountain with 4 settlements. 5) If is safe and borring after a while, i send black ark maybe a lord as well, to support Rakarth, Morathi or Crone, using sea portals. Is very fun. I confederate them if they are about to die. ps 13:22 Lokhir with that army on Gods year 59 is a bit pathetic. But fun to watch, subsribed.
Im glad that you are so into freedom and abolition, that you abolished human rights, something that everyone else was too scared to speak up about, good job sticking to your principles!
Gunna be honest with you. I'm not typically a fan, but I want to congratulate you on a good job with this video. Hope you make more stuff like this, but more importantly I hope you have fun and do what feels natural without trying too hard to please everyone. :)
With dark elves mid game you wanna roll out with Shades, some catapults and a few heroes to kite. Probably their most efficent and easy to use tier 3 stack.
id like to think he uploaded this here due to the copious amount of prescription medications and amphetamines he found in the backyard of a resident of washington, not that he forgot he had the other channel
Its crazy, but like you, losing my starting army was actually a great course of action. I was playong ikit and got wrecked by Morghur. I couldn't kill him, and his minotaur hero. His chariots also wrecked me. But losing the battle caused Morghur to turn off completely. He stayed in one spot and never recruited again. Killed him and took all Estalia. A lesson on never give up. Even with bad battles.
