I almost died laughing, Dan, you utter menace, you almost killed me.
🙂 When I have read the title on this video I thought, that you have found a disaster on the warp nacelle model design. 😆 Until I, have learned that you tried to recreate that murder cover up during the Enterprise D's construction. 👍 I, have found this video really entertaining.

Loved this vid 😂. Also noticing an additional detailing to the necelle housing thats been previously missing. One of my biggest bugbears of this model. That and the fact there are switches sticking out left right and center.
yes a lot of modding carried out on the nacelles. It looks closer to the filming model now

There are other mod videos too I did, that go into more details about the nacelle. They all have the same thumbnail
@dansmodeluniverse I've already seen them and they are great. Will be looking to do the same for mine when fanhome eventually active my subscription. I was referring more to the additional mod of the paneling above the busard collector in the thumbnail of this video.
@@robpearce1266 ah yes, I was going to mention that in the next video :) It was a very bad oversight not including that very obvious part of the nacelle. Anyway, in photoshop I just drew 3 ellipse shapes, shaded them grey and bevelled them to look indented and printed them on a decal sheet
How did you mod the top of the forward nacelle cover? The kit does not have the three roundish looking indentations toward the front of the nacelle yet your kit does.
@@Robman0908 3 ellipse shapes in photoshop, colour them grey (had to do a few tests until I got the right shade) , bevel them to make them look indented and print on water slide decal paper. Then with a very sharp new blade, cut them out individually and apply. Worked a treat.
It was a very bad design error not having them there in the first place.
