This video is a driving POV of the 2024 MAZDA 3 HATCHBACK which comes in a manual transmission. This car was a LOT of fun, and make sure you watch the whole video to truly see how a new manual driver like myself was able to take on the challenge.
The clutch is forgiving and insanely smooth. Although I had a few stalls, it was mainly driver error, and nothing to do with the car. I really like the interior, and the exterior of this car as well. Being a hatchback, you get extra trunk space to fit a bike, surfboard, or luggage.
Shoutout to Hodges Mazda and the best sales guy SKYLAR for showing us this vehicle. Make sure you guys go to him, and he will for sure get you in a new Mazda that you will enjoy.

I agree with the guy in the back, in Europe where I live no one drives Automatics only manuals all cars should be manuals
You're right. It also makes you a better driver.
In the states unfortunately, most people care more about having 37 USB ports, a 12" dash mounted touch screen tablet, lane sleep assist and banana car play than they do about the whole driving experience. Even having a engine and transmission that last more than 100k miles is less important than the gadgets and gizmos that help you focus more on your phone instead of driving. I don't get get it. Fluff and sedentary convenience over reliability and function.
@Chubbydippin It's insanity. I'm all for a naturally aspirated engine, manual transmission, manual ebrake, manual key fob and manual windows 😂
I guess car manufacturers think it wouldn't sell but I guarantee the people that would buy it, would be a very happy customer.

🤣🤣🤣this also happened to me after long period of not driving😅it was humiliating... i was turning without giving the car power and the slope was bit steep, so i stalled 😂😂😂 Manual cars with low torque are challenging sometimes until you get used to them
Hell yeah man! Love the car, love the video! Thanks for checking it out and don't stress about the manual stalling!! I learned on a 2018 Mazda 3 Hatchback as a test-drive at a dealer (upset I didn't take the deal cause honestly it was a steal). The tips that guy gave you actually will help me out a ton and watching this makes me a lot more comfortable with a manual transmission. Keep it up dude! Again, seriously considering this car (but the AWD version for these Canadian winters haha).
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video!! Haha yeah stalling is part of the process but as long as you have confidence you can overcome it how I did. Manuals are a ton of fun and you most definitely can’t go wrong with this particular one. Hope you get one soon!
I got scared when stalled out at the light. I thought people were going to be ass holes and honking, but it was chill. Also, that interesting you can adjust the blind spot by length of the car, and 10 speakers and subwoofers sound like this car is loaded. 👍👌

respect for driving manual. I was going to give you shit for how you drive it, but hey, at least you're willing to learn and take it on. Good job! Quick tip: when you release the clutch, pivot your heal rather than lift up to the bite point. You will hit the bite point perfectly, then hold and add gas and you're off no problem! I used to drive customer cars at a dealer and every clutch is different. This is how I could drive anyone's car perfectly each and every time

I bought this car in soul red, manual transmission.
Mazda done a great job.
Sure there's things i don't like (sunroof, electric ebrake, black rims) but wasn't a deal breaker.
If it were up to me I'd have a manual transmission with manual windows 😂
