I love Cheryl, Bonnie, Emilylo and of course Linda. I don't care for Dolly. Linda told Dan Rather she lost the ability to sing due to Parkinson's. So 😥 sad!!!
Prior to this I thought Sheryl could sing. But I came straight from Linda's stage performance... and this is sadly in pitchy at times... watch Linda belt this out > ua-cam.com/video/2I7GkHy5iOA/v-deo.html
THANKYOU SCOTTY. There's no need for me to say a word here as I intended to do, because you have arrived at exactly the same conclusion & even added a link, (which for an old relic like me is beyond my skillset). If I had the wealth of Musk or Gates, I wouldn't spend a cent on anything until after I'd invested everything in restoring Linda's health. We're really so unbelievably fortunate to be able to view clips of Linda in her prime. They're just golden. Her version of Tumbling Dice is spine tingling & so far ahead of even Mick & Kieth's it's astounding. I'm truly grateful to Sheryl for drawing attention to the fabulous legacy Linda has given us. I'm Australian & really patriotic, but I truly love Linda's Back in the USA even though I've never been there. I've read a few interpretations of the Tumbling Dice lyrics. I disagree with all of those interpretations. I suspect Mick was disillusioned & unhappy when he & Kieth put pen to paper. It seems to me Mick was trying to fend off large numbers of wannabe females & he wasn't impressed with their trying all manner of stunts & antics to attract him. You've got to roll me tells me he wanted people to just let him run, not try to box him in & where he asserts Deuces Stay Wild he indicates that on face value he may have been born a lowly TWO in the deck, but in a good game a TWO is the most powerful card as it is WILD & as such, Kings, Queens & Aces & every other card in the pack has no greater value than him. He accuses all you women who go down gambling, cheating like I don't know how of trying to impress him with deceit & false pretenses of worthiness. Tumbling Dice is very special. Linda elevated it beyond the heavens. I'm glad you see this too.
I’m aware that it’s a Rolling Stones cover, but it was an event celebrating Linda Ronstadt. Sheryl performed it b/c Linda famously covered it. So relax! No one’s saying the original is inferior.
Simply lovely
Maravilhosa 🙌
Totally agree with her about Linda. My favourite female voice of all time. Watch her sing Tumbling Dice, you may agree.
Agreed , that version is an absolute classic 👍🎶
Stones & Sheryl, dynamite musical!
Thank you for that Ms Crow.
Love it.
Grande e talentosa Sheryl
Respect to Sheryl, she has obviously studied Lindas version and sings it without deviation. Great effort.
You're my hero sheryl.👍👍👍
Wow Sheryl really nailed this, sounds pretty damn close to Linda's version. Great job.
Wonder if they ever heard about an 'Open G' tuning.
Or closed G.
Or old school G.
Even Sheryl isn't good as my Linda!

Agree x
Sheryl knows what up.
SHO DO
As bland a cover one would dream/fear of...

No way you can't sing like Linda
Sher.
learn the words lol...
I like Sheryl Crow, but this lacks the power and drive of either Linda Ronstadt or The Stones.
Wow! that was low energy...
Good version but this song is nothing without Jagger
Or Keith LOL
@@stnwrd definitely
@@stnwrd Even Keith said Ronstadt did this song better than the Stones did.
Or Mick Taylor
Keith "Mick and I wrote this song, but Linda owns it"
Rolling Stones/ Linda Ronstadt cover? Are you effing serious? It's a Rolling Stones cover. PERIOD.
