Rounding out the Uptown Music Collective's 17-18 season will be Gimme Shelter: A Tribute to The Rolling Stones on April 27th and 28th, 2018 at the Community Arts Center. Not many rock n’ roll bands stay together for a year, let along over 50 of them... This year the Rolling Stones celebrate 55 years of onstage swagger, number one hits, and powerful albums that have left an indelible mark on the fabric of rock and roll. This performance will undoubtedly be the crowning achievement of an amazing performance season when the students of the Collective rip into a concert featuring the greatest hits of one of the greatest rock n’ roll bands to ever walk the earth. Including songs like Jumpin’ Jack Flash, Start Me Up, Ruby Tuesday, Wild Horses, and Honky Tonk Women.
