- This is a tabletop review of the SIG SAUER P365X ROMEOZERO. In this video we will discuss the history, size and features of the firearm. In addition, we will demonstrate how to field strip and reassemble the gun for cleaning and inspection. Range performance will also be discussed along with different tested methods of carry and how comfortable it is to carry on a regular basis. Last, we will provide an overall opinion of how this firearm stacks up for concealed carry purposes. Thanks for watching!
I’ve carried a Glock 43 since they came out, I’ve put about 1k rounds through it without a failure. That being said I’ve bought over the past couple years a 365, an XL and a 365X. It’s just hard to ignore the capacity the Sig has. I love Glock’s and will always have them, but I’ve grown pretty fond of these little Sig’s!

I am currently trying to decide which I should get. Was leaning towards the 365X macro. Then I read some reviews were people had issues with it. It was then looking at the 365 XL but obviously it is larger for carry. Now have been looking into the 365 X.
@@ROFO79I have two X-Macro TacOps and a 365X. I have no issues either any of them. I’ve had no failures of any kind, the Macros are slightly smaller than a Glock 19 with more capacity and thinner to boot. I carry a TacOps every day, sometimes backed up by the X. I like the full grip I get from the Macros for more positive magazine ejection. I don’t know what issues you’ve heard on the Macro, but I wouldn’t hesitate to pick up another one if the price was right.
The flat trigger is the best thing ever. I changed my P365’s curved one and it made it so much better.
I think Sig really paid attention with the human engineering on the P365 series. They’re such comfortable handguns, at least for me.

I agree! For every single one of my friends who has held my P365X, the first thing they commented on was how nice it felt in the hand.
I don’t think they’re comfortable at all there made for girl hands but they do kick ass but definitely way too small

I just purchased this gun. My first handgun purchase. The dot sure makes a difference. Love it already. Recommended.
Put it up in a xl and you will love it more.( I own both )

You got it right the first time. You'll never need to buy another 9mm pistol. spend your money on training and master it. I also have the p238, great little pocket pistol.
What are the pros and cons of the P365x? I’m thinking about buying a 365x for the red dot. I already have the plain 365.
I just picked up mine today. Pretty impressed with it. The ergos are fantastic. They feel as nice as those on my P 320 Compact. The P 365 is the carry choice of former SEAL and bestselling author Jack Carr.
I carry a Sig M18 I never leave home without it. Sigs are really nice firearms.
I have both the m18 and the 365xl, I love both pistols. The m18 is my bedside gun and xl is my carry-but if I could only have one I would choose the xl it is probably my favorite polymer gun ever!!

I totally agree. Being German and having grown up half my life there and in the US. And also doing automatic es and engineering over there. One thing I can culturally stand behind is german engineering and machining. Very similar to Japanese we take pride in quality work and elements used. Same applies for when I fly over seas, I trust a plane leaving a German airport and their strict standards of inspections and quality control as opposed to stopping in some other nation where someone might half ass a safety crucial job.

Does it come with a plate to put in place of the red dot if you choose to remove it?
@@jeremynolan4681 no it didn’t . But the rear sight is still on it . You can use the red dot or the sights .
My supervisor at work bought the open-sight version of this model at a local pawn shop & raved about it. So, when she brought it into work for us to see it, I fell in love with it too. Our local Black Rifle Coffee dealer had one with the dot & I almost bought it until I saw the Desert Tan & Black version at another local gun vendor. Mine is optic free & it came with 3 x 12 round magazines. I'm taking it out to the range tomorrow!
I have found 10 Magazines. Some at Osage County and some at Palmetto Armory. I take it you have a Glock or Glocks. There are millions of us with M&P's especially Shields. I switched to the Sig P365 because it is small enough for pocket carry plus more rounds. After a year of carrying the Sig with 1000+ rounds through it I have counted at least 13 reasons I like the 365.
I just picked this up 2 days ago. Got about 200 rounds through it and really like it. Good little concealed carry gun.
What sold me was shooting a friend's p365. After that I started looking for my p365x romeo. So far quickly my favorite carry.
It's a great all around package. Small, light, good capacity and the red dot is adjustable brightness.
What is a good holster for fit
I just got this gun, shoots great, looks great and got it for a great price right before Christmas. It’s smaller than my Taurus g2c and more manageable.
I've owned a few Glocks, all different sizes. Also own a couple Sigs and S&W. But the Sig 320 and the new 365 XL and 365 XMACRO are many times better than any Glock in every way.. I got rid of all my Glocks. The new macro is awesome, has a 17 round mag and nice trigger with comp.. Way better than anything Glock has... Nice video, thanks
I run and carry the Hellcat and absolutely love it, but when Sig Sauer came out with the P365X it definitely got my attention! I liked the original P365, but the Hellcat just works better for me, but the longer grip module really makes a difference to me in how it fits and feels and I am going to be picking one up next week. I highly recommend the Magguts plus 2 spring kits for the 12 round mags! Gives 14 rounds and no extra hanging out of the gun! They’re a little expensive but worth the money!

Those Magguts kits are simply the best, I got two of them for carry and a spare (I'd like to get four more for the rest of my mags but that's just too much money in magazines, sig mag prices are already ridiculous, spending $90 on each of my six mags is going overboard IMO) and I love the tiny increase in grip length, they add just enough to get my pinky on it, and they also make it _so_ much easier to load the mags, the stock spring and follower is hot garbage but the Magguts really smooth them out. Definitely recommend them to anyone with a 365.
I agree! Did it for my 10 and 12rd mags and it’s a game changer. No major noticeable bulk but definitely +2 capacity
Great video. I just picked up the P365X and put 150 rounds of Ammo INC reloaded 124G FMJ down range and it ate it up with no jams or misfires. Its my first small pistol so it took me a few mags to get used to the right grip, and then I was shooting hand size groups at 10 yards.
I was gonna get a Romeo zero for it, but I dont like the placement of the button on the Zero so am looking at ordering a Holosun.
I also am not a fan of the button placement either. It does have an auto shut-off after 2 minutes so it's not a concern to me. I know that since it's motion-activated it's always ready in the holster and then turns off in the safe. Holosun makes a great optic as well, so that's certainly an option. Thanks for watching!
I have the Glock 43x. And I just bought the sig today. Concealing the sig with the 15 round mag is easy and feels really comfortable. I haven’t shot it but it has a great feel.
I have had my X for a few months and it is an amazing little pistol, and exactly what I was waiting for. I did go ahead and install a Holosun 507 K which makes it even more amazing, and am waiting for the mag guts kits for 14+1 carry. I use a Stealthgear appendix rig with the extra sidecar mag, so comfortable you don’t even know you are wearing it, I have a few videos of the setup and my X...BTW I put the Romeo sight on a rifle so it didn’t go to waste
I had problems with Mag Guts in my M&P Shield.

I love sigs the P226 was my first hand gun and I've been a fan every since. I bought a German made P228
I own others. I've got my eye on the P320x compact. But I found a P365X in a pawn shop for a decent price and couldn't pass it up. In my opinion it is the perfect EDC
I have the 365 XL with Romeo red dot and I actually shoot it better than my Smith and Wesson MNP 2.0 which is quite a bit bigger fire arm with a fuller grip. It also has an Apex flatty trigger installed so it’s smooth as silk. I can’t explain why because conventional wisdom is the bigger the gun the easier it is to handle. I went to the range and rented both of these guns this one and the Springfield hellcat they look to be about the same dimensions and the hellcat was much harder to handle don’t know why that is either. So I took my wife and grandson to the range with both guns and the same results. We all three shot significantly better with the XL. I’m fairly new to pistols but this gun defies conventional wisdom. It just shoots all out of proportion to its size and weight. And it’s not snappy like you’d expect.
This setup was my 2nd gun purchase this year.....nice gun for sure. The reddot battery didn't last as long as I would have hoped....had to replace it once since January 2021. Sort of odd I thought.
Do you carry that gun daily with the optic powered on?

Cool new model. So many good choices now. I have used a G43 for years with a +1 baseplate and tried a G48 with Shield Arms 15 rd mags. I was considering a 365XL next but now this gun comes along. It’s not the cost of the gun for EDC but the cost of different holsters that adds up!
The XL is also a great choice. A new video on the very model is going to premier in a few days!
Which one has less recoil of the two?
@@bradpowell843 I have used both the g43 and now 365xl for everyday carry. The XL having a little more grip length and a different angle offers less felt recoil than the 43. To me it shots more like a booger gun but is still small enough to easily conceal. My 43 now lives in the safe. 13 rds vs 7 with stock mags is a big improvement too.
Just picked one of these up this past weekend. So glad I did to. I traded in my PPS to get it. Unbelievable how small it is and still holds 12 or 15 rounds. My Walther was similar in size but could only hold 6-8 rounds which was a deal breaker for me. It was between these two when i picked the Walther only because everyone was saying the Sig had a issue. Glad it’s resolved.

I've given this much thought and went the opposite way as I already had a couple regular P365s then bought a P365XL. It bugged me I couldn't use my four 10 rd P365 mags and two 12 rd mags (with the P365 mag sleeve) in the P365XL frame. And since the P365 with the 12rd mag (with mag sleeve) feels just like an XL - it made sense. (The XL grip module has a little longer beaver tail and a little swell at the bottom of the grip but I hardly notice the difference.)
So I bought a coyote tan P365 grip module for my P365XL and then I could use all my 10 and 12 round magazines in all three guns. It had been annoying that all my magazines would work in the P365 while only two 12rd mags fit the XL. Once I was sure this was what I wanted I bought two mag sleeves and floor plates to convert the two 12 round mags that came with the XL so they fit better in both P365 grip modules.
Another reason I did this was, using Mag Guts kits I'd upgraded two 10 rd mags to 12 rounds and two 12 rd mags to 14 rounds which I can use in all three guns. So far I don't think Mag Guts has a kit for the flush baseplate 12 round mags that come with the P365XL. The internals of course are the same but needs the regular P365 mag sleeve on the 12 round magazine. As popular as the P365XL is I bet Mag Guts will come up with a floorplate for the XL.
Anyway, kudos to Sig Sauer for these easy to swap grip modules. You can transform your gun into just what you want. No more "one size fits all"! I found this out when I bought an X Compact grip module, again coyote tan, for my old P320 Compact - it's a whole new gun now! Now my P365XL SG (short grip) looks like my P320's little brother. And it holds 14 rounds compared to the 15 of the P320 Compact.

Got mine a few weeks ago, and I think it is perfect! Even on the sunniest day target acquisition is not a problem! I highly recommend this pistol foe EDC…

Great review. The 365x, with or without the RomeoZero is one of two Sigs I’m looking at currently. That and the 320 Xten. I have always loved shooting Sigs, and it is time to buy one! I live not too far from their Academy in Epping NH, so I might take advantage of that and have the whole experience there

As a new-ish firearm owner, I bought a P365XL on advice of a friend, and eventually got a RomeoZero RDS for it, hoping to help me target more effectively (age-related presbyopia).
That one has become my spouse's EDC piece, in part because racking the slide is more comfortable for her than the slides on my CZ P10S or the M&P products line (with the exception of the Shield EZ).
I have a Shield as a sometimes carry piece, and find the grip a bit narrow for my hands, so usually prefer my CZ P10S. The Sig P365XL grip is barely wider than the Shield, even though the Sig is a double-stack and the Shield is a single-stack.
That SigSauer opted to put the longer grip (12 rounds in the magazine instead of the smaller "non-XL" magazine) on the P365 frame AND put the RDS on it "out of the box" is pretty cool.
Too bad I don't have the money to buy more pistols...
I only own two Sigs a 365xl with a Romeo zero and a 516-556 with a Romeo and I love both of them fantastic weapons
I just got this tonight. I was gonna get the hellcat but at last minute I saw this with the optics compared to hellcat w optics was $120 cheaper. It was a no brainer to me. I'm so stoked. God bless South Dakota!!!

Actually, they're pretty great as an old man thing too. As an "old man" with presbyopia and just age related vision loss, it's a lot easier to get on target with a red dot than pistol irons, not to mention faster no matter how good your eyes are.
Agree with John on the old eyes. I can’t see iron sites well but I sure can see that red dot!

I just got the standard for $499. Then I just ordered the p365x slide with the Romeo zero on it for $449. Pretty steep but just the standard slide is $299 I believe and the Romeo zero is $199 so it’s definitely cheaper than buying the milled slide and the Romeo zero separately. Plus I’ll have the standard grip so I’ll have the option of a longer or shorter grip with 12, 10 or 15 round mags.
Nah. No way is that cheaper. You could have bought two P365. The plastic optic is not durable and would go with another red dot.
Should’ve bought the p365 x slide by itself without the shitty Romeo Zero then bought a Holosun 507k instead
So, you spent a total of $949 and went through all that work when you could have just buy a P365x with Romeo red dot on it from the factory for $799

This thing is undeniably amazing. I went back to the range to rent out some conceal carry options..and this thing won by a landslide. I tried so hard to like the Hellcat and XD..but they just didn't feel right.
For the size, the recoil on this bad boy rivals my fullsize S&W M2.0 fullsize. Love it! Still trying to find if there is a P365x 12 round magazine extender? Everything I've seen is for the regular p365...
check out mag guts p365x mag extension. makes it 14+1 without adding any length on the grip

I *want* to like the Sig 365x but I’ve shot it a ton and my shots are all over the place even with a solid grip and sight picture. Compared that to my stock Glock 43x and I’m getting tighter and more consistent groups without changing much on stance, trigger, grip or sight picture.

The P365X is NEARLY the perfect EDC pistol. All that's missing is the Wilson Combat grip module. THAT makes it as close to perfect as a pistol gets. Love it.

2 observations.
1. Priced way over the top at the moment because the volumes aren't there yet.
2. Sig needs to get the quality on R0 up just a little bit more. I recently saw some of these at a local show and compared to the R0 on my 365XL R0 setup, the quality of the R0's was inconsistent. Also, they need to start including the metal shrouds installed from the factory. I get that they wanted lightweight as an overarching factor in the design of this sight, but perhaps they went just a bit too far with that. Because after all, this is meant for carry firearms, and it's going to scuff and scrape. Durability should've won out that debate with lightweight.
Those are just my observations folks.
I’d say durability is probably on the lower end of important factors for a concealed carry optic. It lives under a shirt in my pants. It’s not likely to get knocked around especially carrying appendix.
You can buy the shroud on their website. Also I doubt a thin piece of aluminum is going to do much. This optic will not survive a fall. Idk why anyone would prefer da/sa but to each their own. My sig is great and I was very weary of switching from Glock to this thing. All I can say is I’m a huge sig fan now. This gun is just built great. The grip shape and size, the sights, the stippling, the size to capacity ratio and I actually like the trigger (when shooting it, it feels terrible when dry firing), comes with a rail mount, milled slide option, optic and slide option, magazine extension options, grip options and barrel options all from sig sauer. Not to mention it’s made in NH. LFOD! This thing beats my 43 hands down. I got my standard p365 for $499 at sportsmans warehouse. I would love a more intuitive website with drop down menus to order the shroud, or just one page for slides and barrels and just choose the options (this is only if you already have the gun). From what I can tell their QC isn’t bad so far for me. However I have heard some bad things in the early production models. Also you can put other red dots on as long as the slide is milled.

Actually the sight has survived drops...there's a video by another channel of such.
Regardless, it would be interesting if Sig came out with a metal RMScc RDS.

From a Ruger, I upgraded to Sig Sauers, but with this 1 I DON'T LIKE THAT $830 price tag... But with QUALITY, You get what'cha pay for.
SIG and HK are no doubt way higher than everyone else. Having said that, I have owned a bit of everything and I don't mind paying more for them.

I have a few micro compacts, I have the hellcat, hellcat RDP, glock 42, and 43x and sig p365x and I'll say sig x and hellcat RDP are my favorites by far
I handled a new P365X w/ RomeoZero, but was told it doesn't include the plate/rear sight to revert to iron sight and I was unimpressed with the trigger which had gritty uptake and lacked a crisp break. Capacity, slimness, and grip texture were good. However, I would have to rank it middle of the pack amongst my small 9mm pistols. Number 1: Shield Plus, Shield 1.0, Mossberg MC2c, Taurus G2/G2C, P365X, Taurus PT111 Millennium Pro, Bersa BP9CC, Kahr CW9 last.
Mine included the plate and rear sight. With the romeo 0 mounted, obviously the plate is no longer on and the rear sight is removed. However the romeo 0 has a rear sight built in.
@@rmossman88 It's possible the salesman was wrong when he said the plate and rear sight were not included. His attitude was "Why would you want to go back to iron sights?"
I had a new P938 Extreme & loved it until I went to shoot it. Found it had a 13lb trigger pull & nothing I could do would bring that pull down.
So I traded it for a new G19X, range bag, ammo, 8 mags & new color matching TLR1-HL.
I do like the XL Series myself.. However, I'd have to get a different red dot for sure. Can't do that cheap plastic sucka, even though they offer a shroud.
I'll never understand the P365X or guns like it. You can get the base 365 and a 12rd mag, but still have the versatility of the 10rd mag. Why make it harder to carry than it has to be? That said, Sig only lets you get the optic with the X(L), so that would be the only reason I could see someone picking this up.
Side note, I have the P365, and recently got the MagGuts kit for it. Now I have 12 rounds in the 10 round flush-fit mag, and 14 rounds in the 12 round mag. It's amazing how many rounds you can fit into such a small gun.
I think the people who want this configuration never plan on using the 10 round mags and will only carry a gun that they can get a full grip on. The xl frame is only a tad longer than the standard with the pinky extension (Which is essential if you want 3 fingers on the gun). Plus it's likely a bit more comfortable than using the 12 rounders with the plastic sleeve. That being said, the great thing about it is that it's modular so even if you did change your mind it's not hard to switch out the grip.
I don't own one but I've handled one and I can say that it feels extremely balanced in the hand compared to both the standard p365 and the xl.
And yeah, the mag guts springs are great. It's insane that such a small can hold almost the same number of rounds as a Glock 19!
You can buy the p365x slide assembly from sig with the Romeo optic and swap it onto the standard p365. You can also just get the milled slide with X-ray sights from sig for even less. Then you can use other optics with it. Or you can buy a p365x and get the standard p365 grip for $40 from sig and swap the internals in like 5 minutes.. not trying to be rude but your wrong on “only getting the optic on the x/xl versions” however I couldn’t agree more on getting the xl over the standard version. I’d rather have the option of more concealment. Unless I bought both and made a hybrid (which the slides and grips are all interchangeable on the p365 series, except manual and no safety options)
This is a firearm that you really have to shoot to appreciate. I'm generally not a fan of carry guns with extra stuff of any kind, but it has a great hi visibility front sight backing up that optic, so I am good to go.
@@adambugno1701 My carry guns of choice are all compact size so I can get a full grip on them making it easier to shoot for accuracy. The P365 is just too small 🙄 for me so I went with the XCompact.😁 My grand experiment might be the XL with the 15 round mags? 🤔

I've owned/carried the P 365 Standard for three years now. Favorite Concealed Carry Pistol. I use Vedders IWB Light Tuck holster 3:30-4 O'clock
How does the grip module size compare to the XL? The regular 365 was just a little too small for me. Had a Glock 43 before and I couldn’t stand it. Way too small and I just couldn’t handle it comfortably. I felt like I barely had control of it. I carry the 365XL regularly and it is great.
From what I understand this is the same grip module as the XL but with the frame of the standard p365.
I'd rather go for the P365XL with a red dot. The extra barrel length is less of an issue than other dimensions, and I want that extra performance.
If half an inch impacts your accuracy, then it isn’t the gun that has a problem..
The barrel length is the difference between pocket carry convenience or not so much.

@@jamesdelap4085 also barrel is what’s easy to conceal. It’s grip that tends to be the number one give away i.e. the Glock 26 was an example of that.

Considering this, the CZ P07, and gen 3 glock 19 (my preference) as my first gun. Leaning toward CZ though.
All great choices. It's hard to go wrong with a Glock 19. The P-07 is an outstanding shooter similar in size to the Glock. The P365 is going to be a lot smaller and easier to carry.

go with the P07. my first pistol was a striker fire and for carry i actually prefer my double action/single action p07. just more comfortable putting it in my pants when i can thumb the hammer as i insert lol
I have these three and a M-18. The M-18 is my carry preference.

Sigs shoot well, look nice, and feel comfortable.
I bought one a few days ago. I wasnt sure about it at first. I have never owned much less shot anything with a red dot. I love it! I dont know why they couldn't have a standard rail for a light. That's my only negative
The frame is to thin for a traditional rail.

2022 march New P365 Chamber in .380 a spacer in the mag and barrel in .380 are the modifications I don't know if they will offer a kit for changing from 9mm , however they might being modularity is one of their hallmark designs.

I have 3 holsters that work with this gun in different situations, but my favorite is the Crossbreed Supertuck. It gives you the retention of Kydex with a nice leather backing that keeps the firearm off the body. I have some pocket carry options as well, such as the Sticky OR.
I also carried the G43 for many years and bought a standard 365, do you know if you can add a 12 round magazine , that extends the grip a little , or I would have to buy the bigger grip , im assuming the slide is the same ?

I have not experienced any issues with mine, and I am well over 1000 rounds. I have some fellow shooters who have recently purchased the gun as well and as far as I know it is smooth sailing for them. If that changes on mine or theirs I will post a video on it!
I heard that was corrected quite a while ago. I haven't seen any recent videos saying that issue is still occuring

I traded away my 365 a couple years ago for a CZ P10S and I've regretted it ever since. My buddy hit me up the other day and told me that he was looking for a new gun and didn't want to be broke for 2 weeks and I had a CZ PO7 tactical and I told him that I would trade that and ask him what he had and I ended up with a 365X Romeo zero with a TLR-6 in exchange for it.
Nice! I have enjoyed this pistol a lot. It is one of the few carry firearms with an optic that I will actually carry.
I just picked up the 15 rounder today, it came with two 12 rounds and a 20 rd pro mag
I have the Glock 26 gen 4 tlr6, 15 round magazine with xgrip and a hybrid holster. Night sights. Perfection. I wonder if this little gun would shoot and feel better for me at that price? 🤔. Thanks for the video. Subscribed
365x / 365xl has better grip
I carried a 26 gen 5 with a tlr 6 for a year or two. I’ve carried the 365x with tlr 6 for a couple months. It is WAY more comfortable to carry, and I am much more accurate with it. I actually shoot the 365 better than my Glock 19. I really love the sig.
It's less expensive to get the XL frame and drop in a P365 module and slide.
For pocket carry, I like the XL slide on a P365 frame in an Alabama pocket holster. Simple.
There is no factory optic cut slide on the 365, though. Correct me if I'm wrong.

And now take the p365x and get a magguts floor plate that only adds 2 mm but allows two extra rounds making that tiny fun hold 14+1

I ditched my P365 for the 43X, wasn’t a huge fan of the grip. This one brought me back. The longer grip, optic cut, and flat face trigger is a huge upgrade for me. They have these on sale for 479 and the holosun 407K green dot for 189. Can’t Beat those prices. I was not however a fan of that romeo zero. It works, but it’s a horrible design

My problem with the entire Sig Sauer 365 line is the grip is to small in circumference. There needs to be room on the grip for my left hand to make contact with the grip. I cannot control recoil with my right hand and left thumb. For that reason I carry a Glock 43x. If I can't end the conversation with 10 shots I have screwed up. Yes, I can carry the 43x in my pocket and a friend of mine who is a jockey can carry a 43x in his pocket.
Ok my first firearm at my age of 40 is a p238 2 clips box lock and books for close to 600 yea I know it's only 6 shells but I always seemed to move to the sigs whenever shopping I had the choice of so many others but I couldn't pick them because the sig is just beautiful I'm gonna go for another one thinking this Romeo quality finishes I'm thinking the romeo or m17

Do you happen to have a video discussing all the versions of the 365? I live in Hawaii, loved sigs long before I moved here, and now that I can, I'm getting two of these for my wife and myself to CC. That said, I struggle to understand the different versions between the 365's because nobody here stocks them, so I can't see for myself.

It’s a tough decision. I originally wanted to 365, but thought it might be too small, so then leaned towards the XL. I rented a 365 this weekend and it was great.
Do you know, can you use the original P365 smaller frame with the newer P365X slide? I'd like to have the option for optic ready with smaller frame...
If you put the extended mag it's a 15 bullet mag it's ever better and more comfortable for the pinky and better for your hand

Can’t decide between this, the 43x mos, or M&P shield plus
Just wondering, am I the only one that finds the iron sight itself (with red dot turned off) a little bit hard to use, esp if you try co-witness? I am relatively new to pistol, so forgive me if I am asking a dumb question. I tried to make the top of front and rear at the same hight, but then I hardly see the front green circle.
I have mine setup with the red dot sitting right on top of the front sight and I can see clearly through to it. For me, all pistol optics take a little getting used to, and after practice I’m comfortable with it.
The info on the red dot system tells you to leave the co-witness alone .. it supports adjusting the red dot .... read the data on the Romeo zero
Are you getting past 40? If, so chances are ,you are just on the cusp of getting an astigmatism,or perhaps ,changing eye syndrone,you, will need more than 1 set of glasses if so.Also many people notice the red dots cause distortion when lining up,the normal sights.This seams pretty normal,even with experienced shooters. I bought the xl model over the hellcat because of this.The hellcat came with the ported barrel + red dot.I'm having second thoughts now,but love the sigs.lets all hope mag,guts come down on price on the sigs,there's, no reason to gank sig owners anymore than any other gun owners,that's just a pet peave.And who knows I just may pick up the hellcat,complete,as it's the same price as the xl,but shoots softer according to reviews anyway.And with my aging eye I see those sights better ,,,,then let nature take its course on the difference on which gun to carry.

They need to make these with manual safety’s already!
I could not get the optic plate off. I called CS and they said to heat up the slide which I did with a heat gun. Still no go. I called back,and it the screws used red locktite. So it’s off the Sig to remove the plate.

Doing another safety check on an already safety checked gun that never had a round in the 1st place and the last time i checked bullets dont magically make their way into a barrel while filming
This is the exact model I want. However, I want a manual safety. Already have 2 first gen P365, but curious how I can get a swap kit to give me the MS and possibly my old style trigger as well. I like the Romeo0, the larger grip (without having to rely on the 12rd mag extender for pinky), I have big hands.
Hey Mr. Brown, Osage County Guns ( osagecountyguns.com/kit-365-safety-conv-grip.html ) makes a manual safety that you can get w/ or w/o a grip module w/ the safety notch already cut out, I dremel'd mine to make the notch on both sides for the ambi-lever, and the safety is a less than $50, and received w/I 3 days after ordering, good luck to you, sir.

The price I quoted was from Kentucky Gun Company. That’s their cash price (electronic check)
the credit card price for the XL with optic 3.7” is $823, The X with optic 3.1” is $773. The X is currently out of stock on their site.
I’ve purchased from them before. Had my S&W M&P 2.0 5” Ported Performance Center shipped within 2 days to my local FFL. Had it in hand in 5 days.
The one thing you might be able to tell me is if the RomeoZero is the only optic to fit the slide? Is the slide cut specific to the Sig Romeo? Are there adapter plates to fit other optics. The Performance Center came with 7 adapter plates for various optics. This is the determining factor for me.

Love the gun!!! Hate the shitty Romeo Zero Elite!! Battery life is piss poor at best. In a drawer without being touched, i needed to change the battery twice in a matter of a couple months. I just replaced it with a superior quality Holosun HS507K today.
I have a Shield-Plus wit a red dot that co-witnesses as well. Seems to me that they are very similar
I have a shield + and the 365x. The 365x is more comfortable to carry and I shoot it much better than the shield +
I hate the Romeo Zero Elite. Battery life is awful when carrying because of the shake awake feature and the battery can’t be replaced without removing the sight entirely. I don’t want to have to re-zero every time I replace the battery. Anyone have any recommendations on another optic?
