Hey folks, Me again! This consumed my life for about a week solid after Biotech came out, I messed around with a few different things before settling on this scenario for a video. I hope you enjoy it! I had hoped to get the video finished much sooner but you know how it be sometimes, see you next time, probably star sector, I really do want to see Goblin finish his conquests, just had to cover this while it was hot innit.
so why no mods list in description I like browsing your vids looking for mods to add to my list cause man are these fun to try my own insane crap out lol.
When i heard the name "Sanguinius", i thought that maybe its just a coincidence, but as soon as you named the other colonist "Raldoron", i knew for sure what you are up to.
@@Brigtzen okay sanguininus best primarch I know but who the fuck is raldoron? some blood angel marine or some such? my knowledge of marine chapters is limited admittedly I know that dorn would probably hate the black templars
"one of Biotech's most anticipated features; animal people" Literally the first thing I did was to use prepare carefully and starting screen gene editor to make a colony of transhumanist furry super soldiers with access to nuclear weapons, just because I thought it would be funny. Honestly it was some of the most fun I've had with this game. Bunch of juiced up wolf/fox people with highly advanced sci fi weaponry and overpowered implants from Archotech Expanded vs. a tribe of neanderthals. It couldn't have been a more unfair fight.
At first: "Till death do us part" Later, both vampires: "OOF, yeah, sorry, I didn't realize that forever is like, FOREVER, so I'm gonna need some space" And that's how your Dracula gets kicked out of his own bedroom.
these videos are so well edited that when i saw the first rimworld vids i thought you had at least 100k subscribers lol. top tier editing man. Love'em!
I love that you cover 300 days instead of 100. I feel like the story is just getting established when it ends at 100. The editing is great, well done. If the quality keeps up like this, this channel will have 100k subs soon.
My thoughts as well! I always feel left hanging when the content creator cuts off the story because it hit "X" days. It feels unnatural and so unsatisfying
If by chance you're reading the comments before watching, then just know the 9 seconds at 6:42 really summarizes this video succulently and gives you the tone to expect. This deserves a bigger like button.
I don't comment very often, but this was incredibly great to watch. I'll be keeping an eye out for more Rimworld content for sure! I hope you know this really made my day, been ill for a bit this week! Thank you for putting a smile on my face!
You're the most enjoyable Rimworld content creator I've watched. Your manner of speech is very pleasant, your jokes aren't forced, your gameplay is the right balance between efficient and fluffy, and the editing is super slick, but not overdone. Earned yourself a sub today!
Really glad that the Biotech DLC really expanded on the best part of Rimworld (war crimes). Awesome video, been watching your stuff for a couple days lately. Good luck blowing up! (in a good way)
I appreciate the editing in the Monyu Python scene, like with the name going a bit red and the floating exclamation mark. Also something something Horus Heresy.
I appreciate you going past the arbitrary "100 days" mark some UA-camrs hold religiously I think the title is good because I see it and I've only played a little bit of rimworld so I'm like "oh how does that work" and it's nice to see you get to the end game with it instead of stopping as things get semi stable after a poorly started game
i love all the mods youve got- camera plus, wall lamps are fantastic mods. I also STRONGLY recommend Better Workbench Managment. If you do a lot of new bases and stuff saving your work bench recipes, filters, and forbiddings, and then being able to reload them in a completely different game is an ABSOLUTE game changer.
Just found your channel and I am very impressed - one of the best rimworld content with a calming voice and fun humor - Gl for the future of the channel and thanks for the entertainment:)
I'm currently on my second attempt at the Sanguinophage start, and the 'bloodbag' method is definitely very useful for this. Wouldn't have known how to do it without this video.
Fantastic editing, never change this imo is the best way to tell rimworld stories. I love long plays as well but i find myself clicking through videos alot. this was not the case
I’ve been on a binge of your rimworld videos and not only did you earn a new subscriber you probably inspired someone to do something similar with rimworld content, well done my man
I adore your humor! I've never seen this channel before and had stumbled across completely by chance while watching some biotech stuff from amphibian and some others. I have to say I love your channel and style very, very much more than a majority of other RW players. Your voice is exceedingly calming, you don't need to be much too loud or play jarring music, and your alliteration and storytelling is wonderful. I can't wait to see what else you come up with.
I very much like the Vampire lord playthrough. Had a hemogin farm of legless pawns. One had pain as a virtue so I loaded him up with a mindscrew, and a psychic harmonizer. Due to being a prisoner that had no issue being locked in doors, he sat in a perpetual good mood smack dead in the centre of the colony.
NANDOR AND GUILLERMO I |LOVE IT PS. the BEST bloodbags are Hussars. They have 4x heal rate, and YEAH the go juice gets a little annoying, but since your probably going to want a couple hussars around anyways, its worth it to have the x4 blood production.
Something funny about seeing the blood bags is in 1.5 they added the ability for pawns to crawl if they lose their legs. So now we gotta remove their arms as well for this.
I just found your channel the other day and watched the royal ending video. Then I decided to give this video a watch, looked at the channel closer and saw the abo count. Needless to say that I was shocked seeing that you don't have more subs. Your content is amazing and I'm now on a binge watching your videos. Keep the good work up.
U made me laugh a few times which was great, I also enjoyed your editing. Overall tone of voice and the expansion as a whole. Currently 407 days into my map, I go slow and make a massive colony and didn't start with vampires but capturing a few I now have 3 and soon ready to bite people to make more. Expansion is awesome, thnx for video. 😉
Yeah I had a group of them show up for some kind of vampire council in another colony and one of the quest rewards was for them to implant their genes into a colonist, while they were there one of them offered to join as well, so it seems like there's a few ways to get them into a colony.
I recommend getting the charmweavers mod. It’s kind of like a cooler sanguaphage. I like having one of each, two humans, and then running the bloodfeeder ideoligion.
I wish I could give this video more thumbs up than I can. I think this is my favourite video of yours. It's pretty evident you were enjoying yourself with this one and that's great to see and hear :)
I would be interested in watching the full Playthrough, uncut (and since else this would be too much of a hassle, maybe unedited) such videos are nice to have playing along while doing whatever
Actually blunt weapons have a higher percentage of downing enemy so you can convert them to join your colony, clubs would be ideal, zues hammer is overkill.
I hadn't realized there was a mood color mod...Now I need to get that. I also need to get this DLC. Stopped playing Rimworld before the DLC launched, just started it again recently until I also just bought Bauldurs Gate 3 soooo, next check maybe we'll jump back into Rimworld, you made this DLC look goofy and fantastic.
Here's a funny for you: I had captured an enemy to turn them into a bloodbag for my own Sanguophage named Vlad. Well, the surgeon (Mina,) failed her task of installing a peg leg by lopping their leg right off instead. Task Failed Successfully.
I got warcrimes installed that would go really well with this playthrough ‘Dead can serve’ would be fun too Living Blood bags hung on hooks and force fed nutrient paste, we eat their flesh and drink their blood like wine and the rest is tossed into the corpse farms to produce maggots to turn into paste to feed the rest I plan on doing this in my next playthrough just without the vampirism, just a very high efficiency colony with 0 food waste Though thinking about it a playthrough with vampires that drink the blood of other vampires who they force feed corpse blood or animal blood sounds fun Vampire blood gives crazy buffs too apparently
When I watch your videos, I start to think: "Hey, I can make some funny thing in Rimworld too!", and then I spawn with metal so limited, that I can't make even advanced research or turrets
I have a goal to strive toward. Giving a Sanguiphage a Persona weapon, and psychic power. Hehehe. Question: Can you rewrite genomes while they're already in someone? Say make a custom Sanguiphage strain that removes some pointless benefits _and_ some weaknesses?
I never like having melee people because of the risk , but I got say with the genes and vampires I really like melee again, My first colony was the basic test everything with a custom Germline of great shooters dark elves that hate the sun, The second is a single melee mechanitor(with no mechs, yet) with great crafter, robust, tough and extra melee damage and super healing , Superclotting ,fire resistence and extra melee damage. She is olo in year 3 with around 200k wealth and she can slaughter raides of up to 9 full armored people with later guns by herselft using masterwork thrumbo stuff. and yes she solo 3 thrumbus using a steel knife and camel tribal wear and duster. She is a beast. To downsides, a lot she needs psy drugs, deathrest and a small amount of blood, she also is awful with animals, artistic, shooting and awful cooking. I didn't know you needed cooking 2 to make tea but I manage to level up to 10-8 and make some tea my making 400 simple meal. I'm using the search and destroy and it's amazing see her going crazy into the enemies using vanilla expanded psycasting automatic. I'm just the maneger , she is the one that does all the combat
18:07 The bugs not being a big threat to ‘three melee combat masters’ does make me wonder how the Blood Angels would have dealt with the Tyranids if the bugs had arrived during the Great Crusade. Judging by how easily Sanguinius is pulping them with a hammer like Vulkan gave him lessons during downtime, I imagine pretty well. Great video, loved the references.
