Wow that's great 🙂❤️❤️
hi please please get in touch with me plz
how would iphone compare tho? i think it would do better
wow..superb!
Can you please let us know the software you used for VFX & editing
I came here to see some techniques, not to cry man. The selfie at the end of the story broke me down. A portrait of joy. Way to go.
Shawn Hines really touching storyline 😢😢we all get to grow old someday
I told myself I was not going to cry. I lied.
Same here
I read this comment... and still said I wasn't gonna cry. Psh... 😭
Same!
So film making is not necessarily about cameras...it's about understanding the art of film making
Exactly
100%
Absolutely B
It's all about immersion. Getting the viewer to feel like they are within the story. A fly on the wall. The filmmaker chooses what drives the story, the scenes, the character, the dialog, etc. and then find a way to use that vehicle to take the viewer on a ride that is memorable, enhances perspective, and either leaves them satisfied or wanting more. To successfully do this you need to have a clear idea of the vision you want to present and cover the 1000 details that will make it more believable (scene, shots, mood, acting, sound, visuals, and EDITING). Heres a really fun video that shows how Quentin Tarantino does this: ua-cam.com/video/NFiy-1DxJqs/v-deo.html
Shawn Hines thanks, I’m gone make a movie with IOS...by this summer.
I think no one said it yet, but great actors!
yeah on such a small magnitude
Totally, good actors indeed
And dont forget angle video is very good
And dont forget angle video is very good
Shooting is actually the easy part, finding the background music, recording the sound, editing, adjusting, tweaking and putting all together is a whole nother ball game. Thank you for the video and info.
Exactly right about that. People think it’s just gathering all ur shots but it’s more complex than that and not as easy as it looks. Yes you could have the skill and bring it on but those who don’t have any idea will struggle at first.
Yeah ur 100% right
Fax it's everything that makes a video great
This Video is itself A full Movie where the feelings of Child hood to Old man Displayed.
It was a Father who used to take his Child to Sea shore in Beggining.
But later when fathe get old It is the Son who take him to the same Place were they have spended their everyday .
It is so nostalgic feeling .
*So Value your time because once it passes it never come back .*
You right, because the roles changed over time passes.
Damn i just came for a tutorial, but that video got me deep in the feels yooo
Same...just learning after effects and now I'm crying...and inspired. lol
What app was he using for recording??
Too accurate bro
Came to learn filming on a mobile, stayed for the feels.
Forget the phone, the story by itself is filled with emotion and beauty. Absolutely incredible work, thank you for this experience.
Without the phone you wouldn't have this video, experience, and comments.
So no

It’s crazy how something so simple as him touching the car evokes such a connected feeling for a character. Great work!
Starrchez thank you!
I felt and thought that as well...that's actually when I started to cry.
I have gotten made fun of for using a phone and learning how to make professional videos. I have also been laughed at for using a 10+ year old laptop to make a logo for a motivational brand I created. It's not what you use, but how you use it that matters. You can make something amazing and beautiful from very little. I thank you for this video. I will use it to motivate myself when I get laughed at or criticized for using a cellphone for filmmaking. 🙏🏽
Dad, I want to invent a time machine so I can rewind to my childhood and hit pause, to relive all the awesome memories I share with you. I love you.
SHUT UP YOUR MAKING ME CRY
Why doesn't this video have more than millions of views?????? Whyyyyyy??
UA-cam algorithm, please do your work.
Guys with makeup is more important to the world sadly.

It working 🙂♥️✨
🙂♥️✨
I guess because it doesn't have alot of ads
This movie deserves an oscar in some category. Great actors, awesome cinematography, perfect background score...and a meaningful story.
This project was so much fun! What do you think about shooting with phones?
i could love to too... looks nice
great, very lightweight, combined with a great story and audio it works, great movie!
It's fun. All you need is the hardware, equipment, software and you can make miracles.
@The1Matic that's for damn sure.
I still cant figure out why someone making a smartphone camera hasn't used atleast a micro 4/3 sensor. That sensor is small enough to POSSIBLY fit on a phone camera cluster.
Why shadows are black? No details i can see in it. Film camera is better for dark, cell phone can be used only in day light
Wow! Just wow! That short was amazing bro, Made me tear up. My dad had a stroke this year and getting him out from being stuck in one spot was definitely a huge part during his recovery 🙏🏼
What an amazing film. You prove what I always thought. Not the equipment makes a great film but the emotions behind it. Well done. I cried.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Man...this has all the feels! Great job on this short film :D
Michael Warbux thank you!
Thank you so much for all the supportive feedback! Really means a lot 🙏❤️😊
Can you do a music video too?
Lut please
samsung must give credit for this awesome man ..good job
Maybe he is working for Samsung ;)
Suhardi Yuwono it was sponsored by Samsung actually
As a gear head that loves nature this short hit home. I feel like watching this short gave me a glimpse of my future self in my elderly years. Im 36, this made me tear up and realize I have a lot of living to do, awesome work man.
The most beautiful thing was the smile on your grand fathers facecwhen he saw the ocean. A wonderful trip. I think he loves you and is so thankful.
The most creative use of a smartphone i 've seen so far!
Well done @Kriscoart!
This video made me cry... it was so beautiful and I became attached with the 2 main actors ... I felt like I was, been and going to be in there shoes! hit me in the feels...
This is the best sponsored video on UA-cam.
Loved the short! Made me tear up a little, I miss my grandfather.
It also made me think, I feel sorry for people who have to consider time spent with an elderly loved one as a once in a life time thing. I grew up living a few miles from my grandparents. In fact my dad's whole family lived within a 10 mile radius. Except for one aunt, her family lived about 30 miles away. But i got to spend a lot of time with my dad's parents. Even when I was in college and I'd come home on break, I made it a point to go see my grandparents before I spent time with anyone else.
Great story, wonderfully told and thank you for sharing it!
Thanks for sharing this. My Grandpa died last monday and we are laying him to rest tomorrow. I would have loved to get him out of the nursinghome for one last time, but he already was to weak.
But we had the opportunity to tell each other how much we love each other before he closed his eyes. This little picture made me sad and happy at the Same time. You are a great Artist.
Why isn't this popping! This is phenomenal work. I'm so motivated to make film. You def took the initiative to show you don't need expensive gear to make a film but instead reach your pocket. Great work!
We need these type of videos in our recommendation!!
Great job man!!
4:28 you can see the camera-man being reflecting at the car... That's amazing how you shot every scene with Galaxy S9, good quality!!!
Note 9.*
Wow, the cinematography and story is jaw-dropping. 👏🏼
That final pull away shot from the water was amazing. Very well done. That you did this with a smart phone is pretty impressive. We have all heard that it can be done, but few really show how it’s done.
Skill + Effort > Tools, always in any art form.
True
True. I believe Zack snyder made a short film as well with an iPhone.
It's not about the tools u have but how you use them.
Agreed on this one!
how about nokia keypad phone camera
@@TheHEROFamily yeah but Zack Snyder also made BVS. A film more hyped than any marvel film ever in a share universe and somehow it failed. I still love marvel tho
IAM NOT JUST LEARNED FROM YOU . YOU DID A GREAT JOP, YOU made me cry. salute
from EGYPTIANS
To say this is well crafted is an understatement. Beautiful and inspiring. The end scene on the beach brought everything together. A touching, emotional moment. Thank you for creating and sharing.
Simple, relatable, inspiring, emotional and beautiful all in one. This is truly what film making is all about. Absolute perfection in my opinion and completely why I want to get into film making.
Reminds me of myself and my father before he passed :) I took him on the beach with his wheelchair and we had a good quite time because he doesn't recognize me anymore because of stroke and after a week he died. Love him so much. Thanks for the video tutorial and heart touching content.
Dam this makes me feel better about my purchase of the note 9 just picked it up 2weeks ago
This was so beautiful! It made me cry. That was very moving.
I'm blown away by this. Moving and amazing in scripting and execution.
Nearly Wisdom thank you so much 😊
You know you 've done well when the viewer comes to look at cinematography techniques and gets lost in the actual content of the video!!! Nice work... very moving!!!
Having a father, is the most precious gift you have ♥️♥️♥️ i love you dad !!
Dynamic range was insane! wow!
I love this film so much. I’m a mobile filmmaker myself and I love to see this quality of video and storytelling from behind the screen we use everyday
What phone do you use?
For sure, this project is so well done that if you haven't shown me that it was shoot with a phone, i wouldn't have believed you. Amazing job!
This shows you how to do a cinematic video with a note 9

Sir...U don't know...how incredible and hard job u have done.....I am just, just, just speechless.....I never watch a movie in my life with such a attention....just wanted, this footage could not be end....just keep it going...very soothing and pleasure to watch. Amazing....and speacially all this is possible with mobile.......speechless man....
Damn,,🙌🎇👏👏 you're good.. i think "we" in general under utilize some of the simple techs we have. With just a $700/800 phone, a simple lens, light, phone rig,and software editing tool can bring such a scene to life. Amazing!!! Great job sir
You are so sincere with your videos,I appreciate it.
Just amazed with your great work to show these priceless emotions through just a phone camera.
You a pro bro.
Miss my grandpa. This video brought tears. Great job bud.
Its just a pro ....this is how you can show your talent ....hats off for editor and cameraman.such a creative video I ever seen.
you get the phone to his limite .. may be it miss a little bit of live focus shots but u already killed it ... very good job
This was really cool, I film on my old Samsung S7 and it still has a great camera and this has inspired me to go out and film more Great film and needs more views.
Amazing really note 9 camera + your skills = fantastic output 🔥🤘
I was crying my eyes out - your movie and the making is fantastic!!! Thanks so so much for sharing!!
Our time on earth is limited and this short film conveys that message. It also communicates how its important to spend time with the people that matter and to cherish the special moments in life. Its amazing how relatable and touching this is. Thank you and you have done an amazing job!!!
Red cam: smart phone are nothing!
Edit & effect : hold my beer.
Just use the red smartphone? 👀

all the dislikes are from the people who thought they were emotionally strong but ended up crying there eye balls out.
A lot of Warp Stabilisation applied to these short film. Cool project!
Gimble :)
@@parranoic I see the gimble, but the algorithm for warp stability is present throughout too.
@@Bitplex I dont see any gelly effect
He used a gimbal
Note 9 has an in-built stabilization
Brother, nice to meet you, I'm Cuban, years ago I didn't cry with a video, this, precisely this video brought out the deepest part of me, it reminded me of my grandmother bro, I congratulate you, I wish you a lot of success in life, my respect and my biggest congratulations for the video 🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏

So thank you thank you for this

First off, wow what a short film, I wouldn't have know it was shot on a phone. I recently produced a 3 min short on my Samsung 8, I can really appreciate what you have created here, beautifully shot edited and well just everything. Bravo.
You are amazing bro this is 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 i don't have the words for describe that project

Endgame should have been shot with this camera phone and it would had save millions of dollars
Jesus Sebastian they weren’t on budget tho
James Johnston Nice to know
James Johnston they can use special equipment lol
@5gxzs lol but the smart blur is not good as Camera that they used for filming
@@lastofchris smart blur is very good on Samsungs
The fact that you are creative and the phone was very, very beautiful nice job man
THE BEST AD I HAVE EVER SEE !!
Bit of a tear jerker which I wasn't expecting. Made me think of my grandfather, rest his soul. Lighting is key for sure.
How to Shoot a Short Film with a Smart Phone?
1. Disable Sharpness
2. Disable Denoising filter
Edit: you can do this with open camera, hedgecam2, snap camera hdr etc..
How to do that?
I think its a lot more than that. The lighting and color grading plays a huge role here too..among other stuff
3. Effort
4. Skill
5. Enviroment
Do you know what app he used to record this short movie?
@@nilsonpmjr He used filmic pro
When they smile in the end I crying it so beautiful movie
This got all of my feelings omg. Just one word, Amazing
Oh my God this is superbbbbbb. The story. The actors. The shoot. Everything ❤

Wonderful video ..... a really great tribute to your friend or loved one. Good tutorial as well.
You do it like a real film camera. I'm not hearing cut sounds. Wow!
i remenber when i start doing music arrangements... 1999 wiht a sound blaster live ( consumer sound card) ... congratulations bro..so inspiring
Great work, well used the phone camera, actor's, story and sketch work is simply 🍒 awesome!!! All the best.
Damn what a trip. The last girl I ever dated, i took to this beach.. same exact spot.. (Malibu) in California " for all those wondering. :( gorgeous flashback
This is really is inspiring. I do have a technical question, at 5:40 was there a setting on your camera or maybe it was in post that made the shot mirrored? The driver was on the left side. Overall the story really resonates to me and my memories with my dad and that is amazing.
Its BEAUTIFUL... It's amazingly shot and captured. The plot is fantastic..
Nothing but respect man. Dat last shot hit me hard.
I wish I could also went on a ride with my father for one last time like this. Thanks a lot @Kriscoart for making this masterpiece. ❤
When i hear that (dad) I feel like 😭😭😭 cause my father passed away.. I don't care with smartphone shooting..
i fell you bro... dont worry i got you😊
I think the Snap from Thanos would a good idea. Seeing the beautiful beach empty gives me joy. We are too many humans for this planet.
Until you're part of the half on death list
