The Paramount release has warmer colors which is why i believe it to be a slight improvement over the Scream Factory. What you should really be comparing is the bit rates because not all encodes are sized equal...

I can agree I think Scream Factory has the better release in terms of quality and extra features! I just wish you could buy it separately

The UK Steelbook has a Blu Ray in it as well as the 4K disc

Are they not just the same transfers? That’s what I’ve consistently heard, is that they are both the same.

No they aren't but you wont notice the difference unless you did a side by side comparison

On the steel book, the picture was horrible. It was way too dark.

Its a better transfer the scream factory release has oversaturated colours with lobster red faces on a lot of scenes just like they did with their exorcist 3 bluray release then they fixed it ok their 4k release and got rid of the pink/red boost. the scream factory here is destroyed with pink/red push the paramount is the correct colour timing and much better transfer

Skin tones are definitely too red but everything else about the Scream factory release is great. Still better than the last blu rays

@@tellemstevedave5559 I agree it's better then the previous blu ray editions but the other 4k version is better then the scream it has natural skin tones with the added benifit of hdr and extra resolution it's the better transfer when it comes to both 4k transfers of h20
