a quick tip for you on using it, you will catch tons more minnows if you seine up against the weeds. they like to hide in the edges of the weeds. when we go to catch minnows for a weekend fishing trip ( 5 of us fishing) we almost always catch all our bait within twenty minutes beating the brush on the edges of creeks. shiners, madtoms, suckers, and always catch mudbugs
This one is more about sparking your creativity bug. I'm sure many of you can fashion much better builds than I. *Update* So the net has been working pretty solid so far. Only a few repairs and I did end up sewing the bottom shut because smaller specimens were getting caught in the folds.
That was just a cheap mosquito net I picked up off of Amazon-- I must say though--it tears a bit too easy--and the fine mesh is a bit too fine for what I prefer on my seines.
