Thank you - my daughter loves her locs and loves even more that I don’t have to comb her hair! I hope your daughters join the party too 🙌🏿 amazing hair choice for our girls.
Nice video. Absolutely love your daughters progress - I keep showing it to mine to remind her that growth and thickness is coming her way. I have the same scalp issue but only in small patches of my hairline and it comes and goes. Some people say it can be linked to consuming dairy products, but can’t se myself ever giving that up.
Thank you, I love your daughters hair - it is beautiful already, so dark and perfect in texture - it’s just going to keep getting better and better. I used to show my daughter pictures of girls with sisterlocks as there is a hashtag on Instagram for kids with locs and sisterlocks - she loved it but has always loved her locs. I agree that food is part of the issue - for me for sure, I need to do so much better and I will, God willing. Dairy always gets a bad rep 😂🤣😂 Aloe changed my life once before though - daughters hair cares less for it, but my scalp adores it. It’s good that yours is less prevalent - maybe something triggers it for you? You have a good chance of figuring it out if it’s only every so often. Cold weather, stress and certain foods make me worse. Also, a retie is a trigger but when I was in the aloe, my scalp felt invincible 🙌🏿 Thank you for watching and commenting 😘
@@leeceyleece2406 Yep we regularly drool over the pics of the locs on insta. Yes i need to make more effort with working out the trigger, will def try out aloe in the meantime.
Her hair is so neatly done. You're blessed to be able to share the journey with her. How did you manage during the pandemic though, with reties? Thanks for sharing. Please keep those updates on her locks coming. Love them.
Thank you! Pandemic was fine as far as my daughters locs were concerned as I do the reties. Mine however, was a nightmare 🤦🏾♀️. Not an experience I’d like to repeat, too many locs and too involved for me.
@@leeceyleece2406 I can imagine. You're doing an awesome job with her hair. I know I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to return the favor and start doing my reties. And if she ever dares complain...well....I won't hold back😆 Seriously though, doing those reties is a labor of love.
@@hawtnsweet it absolutely is all about the love. Thank you and yes, it will be glorious when our daughters can help us out with our reties. I think mine will have a thing or 2 to say about it tho 🤣
Thank you for sharing your journey you have inspired me to get my daughters hair sister loc’d since her hair is in braided extensions 100% of the time anyway so I figure what the heck. Are you able to post details about your consultant please, thanks so much xx
Delighted to hear this Adriel - it truly has been the very best decision for us. And we’ve never looked back - not once! My consultant is called Michelle Smith and is based on South East London, you can find her on the sisterlocks directory, she’s an Ambassador. Best wishes - I’m sure you’ll both love it!
The ending was my absolute favourite part😄
Thank you
You're daughter's hair is gorgeous and it's lovely to see how you share your journeys together. I can't wait for my girls to ask me for if.
