6:50am for an early bike ride, 1st cross training after CIM Marathon last weekend. Watching this during the ride, next week starts the LA Marathon build and training with BPN gels and fuel. What do you recommend to buy first other than the gels?
Gotta say, for what it’s worth, I appreciate the mid run shots. Probably super annoying to do in real life (esp during a 10 miler) but it’s awesome on film lol. Great vid!
Youve been inspiring me to get up every morning and run since i have to get ready for when i leave for the AirForce in February. Literally if i had not found your channel i wouldnt be anywhere near where i should be. Thank you a ton man!
Nico’s videos always make the day better. From the elite cinematography to his genuine personality, Nico consistently inspires me to be a better person. Love your videos! I’m never going to stop watching.
HEY Nico combining the "high" from running and the stimulating effects of coffee creates a powerful sense of well-being. Both activities release feel-good chemicals like serotonin and dopamine that amplify each other, leaving you energized and satisfied.
hi i am a runner just starting up in my running career. Your running vlogs have really inspired me to be a better runner. Thank you for all the running shoes recommendations. this last cross country i had a very Shakey season, and all your videos about mentality and just how hard running is . Really helped me remember that running is a hard sport, and after I really started to have a good rest of my season. Thank you for all the videos, I hope you never stop running. Thank you for every thing you do.
Nico! you aren't alone. I hated taking pills when i was younger and still do and I make that same face haha. I look forward to your videos and thank you for inspiring me to get out and run
Great vid again Nico! I did my first proper race/run the other day, doing a 10km (6.2 miles) one over here in England, and I now can know the amazing feeling of training for months to hit your target - I wanted to do 10km in less than 55 minutes, I’d beaten 55 minutes three times before this race, but on the race I somehow managed to smash it, doing the distance in 50 minutes and 46 seconds - so yes, it is an incredible feeling to meet your running goal. Keep up the great videos!
Best UA-camr ever, super inspiring, very motivated, and over all a really great person. ❤ Love the content keep up the great work Nico, I love your posts and I’m really excited for the next one. Thanks for inspiring me. ❤
I am 64yrs old. I have heavily supplemented since the age of 22yrs old. most people think I am 40yrs old. Our food intake ....does not cover life, or bad food choices. Brian Johnson is impressive.... I smoked...I drank... I over ate to the point of clinical obesity...then I lost 120 lbs....at the age of 30yrs. I stopped smoking, over drinking, & over eating..... by vitamin and amino acid supplementation, diet, resistance training workout, and outdoor cardio...I maintain a body and health of 145lbs... you really do not need to be a millionaire/billionaire....as you age. one does need to love vitamins,,,,,and provide yourself with an income to spend on lots and lots of them. Nico...your Channel, work, shared personality....are so awesome to experience.
Thats typical american. You dont need supps, when you eat the right food. Bryan Johnson dont use "normal" supps, he's very specific (and costs a lot of money). A healthy lifestyle just need organic food (not high processed food), Vitamin D3 in dark seasons, B12 maybe, sport and daily movement, no alc/smoking. Thats all.
Nico! I’m fairly new around here. You’ve been one of the most consistently present faces in my algorithm since having picked up running in September of this year. Steadily have consumed your content as much as possible. Love it! Nowhere near close to your mileage but im around 10 miles a week right now. Even there, you’ve been quite to motivator for me. Thank you!
We’re training for the same goal brother. I just ran a 2:50:53 in NYC. Very pumped about the time but I wanna see a 2:49 on the clock. Brick by brick. Almost there 🤝. You got this bro!
Love to see it Nico! My long runs are usually 8-12 miles. It’s crazy that you run 10 miles almost every day. I’ve been cutting down my mileage to bulk up some over the winter.
so inspiring Nico! gotta say, there's something just so cool about having a unique daily routine and seeing yours, motivates me all the more! keep up the great work!
Awesome to see your normal day. You're inspiring me to push harder! I'm doing the Mesa Marathon hoping for a sub 2:55 finish. Hopefully I'll see you out there!
I would’ve never imagined you having the same problem starting running as I do. Starting is the hardest part, and these past weeks I’ve been having to choose not to back out. It feels nice when you’re motivated, but I feel like it’s times like these where we grow the most as runners. Thanks for sharing Nico!
These videos always provide me with so much joy! 🔥 Whenever I feel down or unmotivated I usually just go watch one of your videos to cheer me up 😁 It’s a super invaluable tool that’s been needed more than ever, as I’m not able to run for the entirety of December due to foot pain. Thanks for keeping me sane in hard times Nico 😊🙏
my man, you are making movies! seriously, your shots, storytelling and the color grading are just simple lovely! es un placer ver tus videos, Nico. saludos!
The pill taking hit home! Finally overcame my problem mid this year and it’s actually a game changer. For me it was as simple as watching a few videos!
Definitely not the only one with the pill problem my guy! I used to be so scared of swallowing pills until I was like 15, but with time, I've been able to overcome it, now I can swallow like 6 at once no problem😅
First of all- YES Raisin Bran is HIGHLY underrated. Also- I hate taking pills too. I suck at it 😂 love the content bro keep up the good work. And that G1M sport sticking the landing was wild
you are absolutely NOT alone with the pill thing. for me, i couldn’t even swallow unless i threw my head so far back. i finally grew out of it as i’ve grown up & needed to get used to taking medications. but man, an advil used to take me out 😮💨 whole body just quivering after
You are hilarious!!! Not the 42/10 for Einsteins bagel haha! Going to check out their chocolate chip bagels mañana after my 15K hot chocolate run in Phoenix!! I also tried Amici’s pizza the other day thank to you and it was solid! 👌 Still finding my way around here in Az and good running routes (especially on my longer runs) but your videos give me hope in finding good routes around here. The winter weather in Az is A1 insane!!! 🤯✨ Beats Chicago’s winter for sure! 😂 You’re crushing this marathon prep!!! Keep it up! P.s. there’s nothing like that first sip of coffee after a long run or a great workout 🫠 feels like heaven
First, I love your videos; they are so aesthetically pleasing! I just started running marathons. My first was September 22, and the second was December 1st. I was wondering if you could make a video on how you come up with your training plan. Do you use an app or formula? My time for both marathons was around 4:24, and I want to get sub-four and keep improving.
Youre not alone when it comes to having a fear of swallowing pills, I've been like that since I was a kid. It use to be so hard to swallow pills, it just wouldn't go down but now I'm use to it, it's all mental lol.
First time being in a winter training block and it been tough getting out the door when it’s below freezing temps, but it will all be worth it February 8 in Mesa
Recently tried the fuel cell rebel v4 and loved them. I'm back and forth with asics gel cumulus 25. Anyways, this video made me want to go run. Heading out now🏃🏻♂️
Loved the video, so relatable and authentic. Could you please share the link of the song played during your run in the video? Thanks a lot and keep going!
I have Cystic Fibrosis and will also be training for my 6th marathon that I will be running in May of next year. In regards to pills because I've taken them my whole entire life I am definitely an expert in this field. For some meals I have to take about 20 pills all at the same time before eating, but I take them one at a time and have them with water. Slow and steady wins the race, slow and steady and all the pills go down.
Tip from a nurse on swallowing pills: Tilt your chin down instead of up. Tilting the chin up opens your airway and narrows the esophagus. Great video, new subscriber for sure :)
I’ve been running in my neighborhood (which is about a 1 mile circuit) for 4 years, lol. Haven’t been running anywhere else since. Soon I’ll look for some new circuits; I would appreciate having some
It depends! Sometimes around 4 or 5 AM cuz I have lots on my to-do-list that I wanna get done and sometimes a bit later if I need to catch up on some sleep! I sleep extremely deep and well. So when I wake up I'm like super well rested which is awesome! But sometimes I get brutally woken up in the middle of the night when my cat demands food asap 24/7! She's the boss! Haha :)
Brushing teeth in the shower I've found to be an effective routine and that way I feel like I can brush them for long enough. That way you become more meticulous with caring for your teeth which is so important. Then you can count to like 20-30 seconds on every side of the teeth that is on the top, inside and outside the row of teeth. The teeth need to be clean everywhere on every surface. I didn't have a single cavity for 5 years cuz I took really good care of my teeth. The last time I visited my dentist there was only like a super tiny beginning of a cavity but it didn't require drilling or anything so a pretty ok result overall!
Facts: Caffeine after a run helps with the muscle recovery process. 😉Thank you for promoting the use of Skin Protection 🙌 Don’t forget back of hands. I hated oatmeal as a kid but love Steel Cut oats as an adult! 😂 …. Yes, pills used to cause me so much fear as a child and I still kind of cringe low key when I have to take horse pills 😅
My one phobia is choking...had an incident when I was about 8 and luckily my mom was home to save me. I usually put my supplements in the blender when I make my shake.
Pro tip from a nurse. Tilt your head forward slightly when swallowing the pills. It’ll open the esophagus. Most people think their head should tilt back
Hey Nico first things first this video is awesome and they always are. I’ve always loved the morning routine videos and keep up the incredible work. Also one question do you take creatine or have experienced with it while being a runner because I’m thinking about picking some up but not sure
What time do you wake up every morning?
4:30 almost every morning
0530
around 6

Congratulations on your marathon training and I am impressed with your dedication to your training.
It is inspired me, I nailed my workout, and my pace plummeted. It was the fastest I ran in almost a year.
I would’ve never imagined you having the same problem starting running as I do. Starting is the hardest part, and these past weeks I’ve been having to choose not to back out. The pill taking hit home! Finally overcame my problem mid this year and it’s actually a game changer. For me it was as simple as watching a few videos!
Bro, incredible video. Impressed by the editing / story telling!
Same about taking a pill. Even small allergy pills I struggled with. I learned that taking a pill with a banana makes it way easier or apple sauce.
I just wanted to comment about trying it with a banana, but you were faster. I didn’t know someone else does that
the best to ever do it, thank you for all the content nico!!💪🏽🔥
Definitely not the only one with the pill problem my guy! I used to be so scared of swallowing pills until I was like 15, but with time, I've been able to overcome it, now I can swallow like 6 at once no problem😅
Dude is just living his best life, I love it!

Hi I’m Rob, I’ve ran since 7th grade, it’s great to see you run every day like me.
First of all- YES Raisin Bran is HIGHLY underrated. Also- I hate taking pills too. I suck at it 😂 love the content bro keep up the good work. And that G1M sport sticking the landing was wild
I recommend watching at 0.75 speed …. That way it lasts longer. Great video! Thanks, Nico!!! Keep going! You are an inspiration!

Your making me realize how much i love running

Love ur work bro 😎
Thanks for the video. Looks like a lota effort has gone in to predicting this video.
Love your videos! I’m getting to the phase of marathon training where the miles are starting to go up and yeah that discipline is being tested! 😂
loved the editing style for your run! but it must have been hard setting up so many shots while running haha
Completely agree about the post-run latte expereince! The first sip is soo incredible, otherworldly honetly. hahaha
The cinematography was especially on point today 👌
Thank you!
Finally, Raisin Bran the actual best. Extra raisins the way to go too
Best content on UA-cam 🙌
The editing of this video is elite

Motivating me this much in 25 minutes is crazyyy

I love those Shokz headphones. Only thing I run with or do chores outside around the house.

Such a high quality vlog
Thanks for another great video

I totally agree with you on the Shokz, had to return mine
They were very underwhelming
The goat
I've been a "crest kid" since I first started brushing my teeth as a little kid. You are definitely not alone.

You gotta try the raisin bran crunch!!!
Great video though - love the footage!!
I’m definitely gonna try that!
Just wait till my mans gets a nightstand🔥🔥 will be a game changer
Hey Nico! I have loved watching your videos and seeing your running journey so far, keep up the good work!! How do you prevent injury (shin splints)?
now i want my afternoon-evening routine

I have always put a bit of water in my mouth before putting the pills in so that I don’t taste the pill as much and not feel them
Love the content, Nico! Have you tried crunchy raisin bran? It's sooo good. Also, I can down all my bpn sups just like Nick. 😂
Hey Nico first things first this video is awesome and they always are. I’ve always loved the morning routine videos and keep up the incredible work. Also one question do you take creatine or have experienced with it while being a runner because I’m thinking about picking some up but not sure
Close on the eyes goes crazy 😅
