The ending couldn't be any better than this - "So whether you are chasing something for yourself or something bigger, you truly have one life so don't forget to show up for it."
Gosh only Riza could make 14 mins feel like seconds and make me emotional over a marathon. The swell of group support, the nerves and energy, the pride for your bf and friends… THIS is what humans are capable of 💕🙏🏽🙏🏽
Bruh I cried after the marathon, like. Their relationship, the friend group, the small moments of strangers around them, how everyone is so supportive It just makes my heart so full.
@@lordblanck7923 your comment reminded me of the concept that when you imagine your dreams, the glory, very intensely, your brain gets rewarded with it dopamine-wise as if you actually did it… so you don’t end up striving to do it
i was watching this with my girlfriend on the tv and afterwards we started talking about how we’ve showed up for each other over the years. each time colt stopped for you, we looked at each other and very much saw us in you guys. incredible message and (as always) phenomenal storytelling. struck a chord for us :)
This girl inspired me a lot, all she did was start from the smallest things: making videos by herself, writing her own script,... she helped me erase the fear of appearing in front of the camera and the anxiety of being judged by others.
Love to hear that! Riza, Colt and many others also inspire me to show up and keep moving forward, even though it can be quite challenging at times. Keep it up, Alo, I’m proud of you for getting started and moving ahead!!!!
@@jacobsjourneyside thank you so much, i started making videos after my 6 months of fear, if possible i would love to hear your review about it. Have a nice day
I miss living in London so much, main reason why I waited so long to watch this video, and oh man I was right you shot London so beautifully and I miss home so much.
Thanks for taking your time with uploads. I know it sounds strange, but people truly don't understand the amount of effort put into a single video, from storytelling, filming, and editing. I hope you aren't pressured to post more and sacrifice quality because your videos are worth the wait ❤ Also Tejas's faces at the camera are hilarious 😂
This video made me feel so happy. I didn’t feel this happy since 2020. I couldn’t stop smiling. It was so beautiful to see how supportive people can be and what someone is capable of when there is tons of love.
I like how her story telling is evolving while still rooted in the fundamentals, it's the sweet balance of experimenting and familiarity. It's a cultural event whenever she posts a video. ❤
There is something about a person running a marathon and competing in it, all that sweat, training and effort and finally seeing them with that little medal, exhaustion lining their eyes but with a smile on their face not just proud but fulfilled, that makes me tear up… We humans can be incredibly, painfully true and real when we put in the work, just like this little video… lots of love Riza and congratulations to all the runners…❤
Definitely not close to a marathon but I had a similar feeling when I reached the top of this outcropping I was hiking to. I'd made the hike before but because of timing and loss of daylight I'd never reached the top. It's literally a couple mile hike and I'm not the the fittest of people, but I celebrated my little win when I reached the top. It was nothing to my more fit companions but it meant something to me. As they say, don't compare yourself to where others are today, compare yourself to who you were yesterday.
I just got back from the Chicago marathon - I was there to support my aunt and it seems like this video was meant for me. your storytelling, the whole video, the crew chasing the runners, everything just made me very emotional. I loved just seeing people in the marathon, the runners, the families and the local people just cheering - humans being humans.
Loved this!! I’ve been running global marathons for a few years now and the “showing up” message really hit home for me. Truly one of the most supportive communities out there 😊 Thank you for sharing your experience.
The content you make is such a reminder to treasure the friends you have and the memories you’ve made with them, and are going to make with them - thanks for making such beautiful videos
Making the choice to be present and available in both your actions and emotional energy, even when it’s not easy. It can be empowering because it shifts you from feeling passive or disconnected to actively participating in your life and relationships.
This reminded me so much of the ending of the movie About Time. Even when a guy could literally time travel to any point in his life, he chose instead to take the moments he had and to live every day like it was the last. I cried. Thanks hahaha
I have been starting my UA-cam channel and searching for ways to improve. And I ran across so many videos of the video analysis of your videos. And I felt so prideful and jealous ngl. I felt like oh my goodness who is this girl. She can’t be that good. N then I gave in. The holy spurt softened my heart because I was TRIPPING. This is the first video I’ve ever seen from you and this is amazing. The emotional connection was real. I literally felt like I was there with you all. This is truly beautiful. Thank you and I’m so grateful I decided not to be a hater. You are awesome. May God bless you!!
This reminds me of the Yes Theory videos from the early days. This video has its own flavour unique to your style of storytelling. Makes me see my own city in a different light. Thank you.
Just a stroytelling masterpiece, Kariza. Smiled for the whole length of the video. Appreciating it more as now I as a small creator understand the effort it takes to make something so effortless.
THANK YOU THANK YOU AAAAAAND THANK YOU RIZA!!! You cannot imagine how wide I smiled through out this video. Love the details, efforts and you of-course! Congrats to the boys 😊 This year I did 14km marathon run and why this video hit me so hard is the lesson that I have been working on TO SHOW UP! Hoping to run next year for longer marathons.
This was absolutely thrilling! The chase to get the shots felt like something out of a movie. Although you didn't run, it was really sweet of you to capture those memories. It's not just the cinematography you're so talented at. You are a storyteller. You took a marathon and made it exciting while circling back to the importance of showing up! This is a vlog to remember ❤
I found your channel a year ago when you were first blowing up and I was feeling a bit lost in life. Over the past year, every video you've made has felt like it's helped me on my way and reminds me what I am here for. Thank you for always telling such great stories!
Kariza!!! This was absolutely beautiful; every time I think your newest video is my favorite AND THEN you outdo yourself. I definitely felt the light, excitement, and beauty of this one.
I just found out your channel, yesterday, and I can say, I feel sooooo inspired, every time I've watched your videos!! You're my new favorite content creator!!😍😍😍
This has given me the motivation to apply for the London Marathon too! I've lived here all my life, and I think it's time ✨🙏🏻 Congratulations you guys!
Not only are you a supremely talented and natural storyteller, but you also possess crazy breadth and depth of talent in videography, originality, being authentic, and screenwriting/storytelling! This one was fresh; so crisp, dynamic, electrifying, while still super sophisticated and polished as your previous works. I love and appreciate your simple, yet profound philosophical messages, too. I needed the reminder to show up to live more fully.💚
I've never watched this channel before. I was skeptical it was gonna be one of those kinda bull motivational videos but I had it saved and finally picked it out of my watch later backlog. I was treated with a beautiful story and vlog about friends and their special journey. I enjoyed it a lot. Subbed!
Your videos are SO inspiring. I can’t find any other UA-camrs who have the same level of creativity, dedication, and care that you have. The way you take time to make sure the audio, video, and story telling are perfect is amazing and I love your videos. Keep up the good work!
This video was too refreshing. It felt really good. It managed to spark a part of me that has been struggling to come out for a really long time. It was love, friendship, moments, hugs, kisses and embracing people. Thanks so much for making this! ❤
Felt like a level up in cinematography and editing in this video! Loved the train wiping the text away animation. Loved the color grading in certain shots and the font choice. Keep going Riza!
Your best video yet!!! Taking real in the moment footage and turning it into a cinematic masterpiece. While I love your other more scripted videos, this really feels like we’re a part of your life and living it with you.
The intro really got me, there's always this feeling when a video is so relatable and you know it hits you, you're so ready to receive what kariza can share and say.
I started running this year. I think this video properly encapsulates the energy for the runners and for people supporting the runners. Just being there is enough to give the runners energy, because they know that there's people waiting for them at the end of the line.
"Like all people in their 20s and 30s.." appreciate the inclusion, your 30s is when you start to feel like you're disconnecting from the fun, and that you might be weird for joining in on things. It's not true at all, and for many people their 30s is just when they get into the swing of things. For anyone who needs to hear it, don't think you missed the boat, you still have plenty of time to get out there.
What a great story and your ending was not what I was expecting. But I completely agree. I believe I do a pretty good job of that, but there's always room for improvement.
