I only use 10 shots as practice. Which is my score on the first hole. Sorted.

Ooh, careful - I don't think you can play your course before a comp round.. I knew a couple of people who were penalised for it. Great video - I agree with one of your last statements - it's a warm up, not practice ..

Many thanks. Is much appreciated 👍And sorry if there’s been some confusion. You can’t play the course for sure before a comp round as far as we’re aware. The Adam Scott point was really more about rehearsing the first tee shot or first few shots as the last shot of your warm up and he’s obviously got the benefit of practice rounds in the days before hand. For regular players think it’s an idea mainly for their regular course where they know what club they’ll hit at the first or clubs they hope to hit if all goes well off the tee! Again apologies if this was confusing in the video.

@@GolfingFocus Oh I see. So you're saying that you'd play a few holes "virtually" - eg hit driver, then 7 iron (as you might on your first hole). Then 6 iron (what I hit off the second tee) etc etc. Gotcha 💥

That’s right 👍So you’re visualising your plan for the first hole or two and hitting your final shots on the range beforehand to match that plan for the course and therefore hopefully reinforce it happening. Is a good technique although as we all know the plan in golf doesnt always match the reality 😂

John Daley warmup. 2 to 5 Bourbons, 5 cigarettes, check with his caddy to make sure he is at the right course, look at his clubs, walk to the tee, grip it and rip it.
