Too many First Time Players want Sniper Rifles til they use them on the field. If you have the Mindset for a Sniper Replica, it will be great. Most don't and are disappointed when they get out shot. A Light Weight polymer build for your first Replica is always a good choice. Awesome video as always.
The best way to choose your first gun is to go to fox airsoft, and pick any of the amazing starter packages available! Lol, that's what I always recommend new players to do, heck after renting a gun for a month every time you go play, you could pay the same for a start pack! Keep up the great work Fox Airsoft!!!!
So my first gun was an all metal ak47 I got along time ago. Idk what make it was but it shot straight and far but was very heavy. I was only like 13 and the gun weighed close to 10 lbs which is heavy for a 125 pound kid. But it didn't make me not want to play.
M4 all the way sorry but no platform is as widely available and used as the M4 with massive aftermarket parts and upgrades, being boat simple and foundation for many other rifles such as the sr25, as for the AK’s cyma but in reality againM4 being both cheap, fairly reliable (depends on the make and company of said gun) and upgradable making it ideal for future usage
Hey Owen, we have all of our elite force m4 starter kits in stock, as well as the LT rapid deployment carbine. Here's a link!: www.foxairsoft.com/starter-kits/lancer-tactical-rapid-deployment-carbine-14-5-starter-kit/
If im looking to play at a outdoor field with a fps limit of 317(1.49 Joules) what type of platform should i be looking for?…and should i be looking to down grade the spring right out of the box?
Outdoor is suited for an M4 length AEG or longer. Or you could go with a sniper rifle but for most people an AEG to start playing outdoors is the most flexible. You won't know if you need to upgrade or downgrade without verifying what it shoots. Some makers out of the box shoot harder than advertised specs and might automatically disqualify you from participating. We see this happen a lot and people get frustrated because they take the effort to get ready and go to the field only to find out their gun shoots harder than legal limits and had to be turned away with no alternative solutions. Your best bet is to buy legit brands from legit retailers who verify gun specs rather than copy and paste everything.
@@FoxAirsoftStore i think im going to stay away from the sniper rifles until i get some time in under my belt…As far as m4’s is concerned should i go full length or something more compact? I was leaning toward G&G for my m4 but are they another good brands that deliver a full metal upper and lower receiver and reliable for outdoor play?
You can go Mk18 to M4 length and be flexible for most situations but it's not going to make or break you so don't lose any sleep over it. G&G is a solid brand to start with. For full metal the least expensive but very functional for the price would be Lancer Tactical Pro Lines. After that the price jumps up as you go into ICS or Elite Force's metal M4's. There's a bunch of no name brand metal M4's out there that are certainly cheaper than all these but when you shoot it, you'll find out where the corners were cut.
@@FoxAirsoftStore I definitely agree with you about there being alot of no name brand m4s out there…im definitely going to take your advice..but i also feel like once i get on the field and develop my play style I’ll figure out which direction i wanna go…the main thing is to get out there an have some fun pew pew 😆
