I can't play milsim if I don't have a working gun dammit!
Restock the old upper ICS gearboxes!
(Joke)
(Kinda)
Don’t skip that face protection, I was at a milsim last weekend and took a shot to the face point blank, I had been running mesh all day but I took it off for the night engagement and that was the only time I took a shot to the face.
Glad you guys are helping show people that milsim kits don’t have to cost thousands of dollars
Never saw the price in the video lol, guess they cost a pretty good aeg
@@acknowledgedofalltheconseq366 most of it is starter gear but what I mean is that a lot of people’s milsim kits cost upwards of $1000 so a lot of new players don’t even try to get into milsim because they think it’s out of their price range however what a lot of the milsim UA-camrs don’t tell you is that they have all been playing for 5+ years and I’ve built up this kit overtime
@@ProA-kv2jv Okay thank you for sharing, Milsim deserves more popularities.
Are you aloud yo use mele weapons such as rubber knives, foam axes, ect.?
@@macaronitactical6217 in milsim if the enemy gets that close, you’ve done something wrong but yes, I guess it would probably be allowed but there’s barely any CQB or single person stealth in milsim
My last milsim, I was part of the insurgent faction (it was Middle East based). My kit consisted of a CYMA AK, a soccer jersey, tan pants, a shemagh, Salomon shoes and a Chicom chest rig. Aside from the Salomons, that was the cheapest kit I ever assembled.
Other less-obvious gear recommendations:
- Event-specific items required for death/revive/medic gameplay (read your event rules)
- Spare socks in case your boots get drenched (2-layer backpacking method works well to prevent blisters)
- A small roll of duct tape (gear breaks all the time at Milsims, especially sites with a lot of concrete/metal/glass). Good for blisters too.
- A flashlight or headlamp NOT attached to your gun (you'll find dark areas on some sites even during the daytime, and you'll find yourself looking at maps and searching for objective items sometimes)
- A lightweight rain layer (you won't always need it, but it's nice to have on you when a drizzle happens)
- A decent radio such as a Baofeng UV5R (NOT because you want to crowd the radio channels, but because long walks to and from respawn can make it difficult to get back to your squad or organize group respawns VS individual).
- A simple first-aid kit for cuts/scrapes to light gashes (stuff happens, people trip)
- More than a day's worth of charged batteries + a way to charge them overnight (even if your starting battery never runs out, a squadmate's might).
just what i was looking for evike, thanks
I run a yoke system and it works great for me, more breathable on the chest
I love these shorts. But I really miss the unboxing videos. Are guys doing those on a different platform?
I have always wanted to go to a milsim
Nice video. What about the gloves? What suites best on this kit
Thoughts on the hydration pack plate things?
This isn't necessarily milsim specific but where can i get shoulder armor like the shoulder pads alex was wearing in Modern Warfare 2019?
Oh sir!
I have two questions:
1. Is there any helmet setups that is most efficient to have everything?
2. When is the only time to use the secondary weapon (such as the pistol)?
Hello!
1. Please clarify. What do you mean by 'everything'?
2. Airsoft pistols are usually for use inside buildings where your rifle might be restricted to a minimum engagement distance.
Pistols are often a soft-requirement depending on what main gun you are bringing for the role you signed up for. (Example: Most DMR/Sniper/Support Gunner role signups will require a sidearm because your FPS limits are higher on your main gun and you're required to use your sidearm at close-distance engagements for player safety). If your event site is outdoors, I would actually recommend you avoid bringing a sidearm if you aren't required to save on gear weight.
@@evikecom I mean like putting foggers on the helmet, cameras, lights, etc...
@@kennethjoseph9309I’m not exactly sure what you’re trying to convey but if you’re asking about helmet setups then peopl usually have lights either mounted to the arc rail at the side of the helmets or those petzl style headlamps which wraps around the whole helmet. As for cameras and nags they would mount it in the Nvg mount.
@@COMET_C01 yes that what I'm saying.
Does M-Tac T shirt is part of Milsim?
How old do you have to be to play at milsims (average). Btw thanks this is a great starter kit
Usually 16 with a guardian
@@Expung3d_ ok that's what I thought
Usually, that's event-specific. I've seen kids as young as 14, but they are usually tied to the hip with an adult guardian playing with them.
What eye protection should I use if I have glasses? I have trouble finding good over glasses goggles...
If you only need eye protection, you can get prescription safety glasses
Also, I know I'm late lol
@@MrBeastfan-kq4ii yeah i pretty much got exactly this
Im making a enclave/government agent type uniform
All black uniform with varying degree of gear
In colder environment a utility top may be better
Knee pads knee pads knee pads knee pads knee pads, you're welcome! If you play outdoors during the winter or in rain, buy some Helikon gaiters. If you're cheap with gear, it's going to perform cheap, it doesn't matter if it's real life or not, you're wearing out your gear as if it is, don't be cheap, especially if you play frequently. If you have glasses, buy some Rothco OTG goggles, they fit over your glasses, have full seal, and are safety rated.
Me casually watching this In a full 2004 Usmc kit
what are the airsoft essentials i want to start
Rent a gun and a mask for your first time
ok ill try thanks :)@@VOYD_APPAREL
You forgot like the second most important part of any loadout: a gun. Can't really enjoy a milsim if you don't have some type of bb-spewing weapon 😆
It won’t let me create an account on y’all’s website
Evike why do you delete 1 star reviews from your website?
i guess the wraith isnt selling well, a lot of videos on it and epic deals
It’s in a lot videos because the sales are good. They just came back in stock yesterday
@@jordanpalacios5855 its honestly ugly, the only good variant is the desert camo which is hard to find pouches for
So you were basically just saying that to reinforce your conformation bias
Nah, Im bringing my rainbow crows to my nearby milsim event
If I'm not mistaken msw requires specific weapons for nato vs Russia. Russians need Russian weapons and NATO troops need NATO weapons.
MSW is kind of its own beast in the milsim event community really. Better to just tell any interested player to dive into the rules and an MSW forum for faction-specific details.
did anybody see real ammo in the m4 mags? 2:05
that's not a real mag, it's made to look real but doesnt actually have bullets it has airsoft bbs
Personally, 1 piece of kit I think people overlook is webbing opposed to plate carriers: ua-cam.com/video/Cy0NC5ThSAU/v-deo.html

"Beginners" it will only cost you $700, lol😂
krydex and you can make a full kit for under 500 or so, i didnt since im able to afford crye stuff but thats good too
Honestly, BDU/Camo, decent boots, and safety-rated eyewear are typically your only HARD requirements to attend a milsim. The rest of the gear can be added to and changed over time or borrowed.
fully thought this said “muslim loadout” 😂
💀
Crye or cry
real
I love crye as much as the next guy but I’m more of an LBT man
Crye is Crye, but there are so many decent alternatives out there that solve challenges in different ways. Honestly limiting yourself to a single gear manufacturer is shooting yourself in the foot. LBT, First Spear, PIG, TT, Spiritus, Haley, and many more great options.
crye fanboys cry the most out of everyone lmao
@@eatdatcupcake4453 good vests though
BUYER BEWARE. this comapny and the goofball LARPsters that run it care more about their super sweet hairdoos and manacured beards than providing any sort of customer service for the trinkets and toys they sell.
