I know this is three years old but I was talking g to fox about starting a UA-cam channel or four years no but finally went for the first time...this is funner then being a kid in the mug guys if you haven't plz come on out and try it they have great quality rentals (witch blew me away) good fields and great people all around so come hang out and have the blast of a life time.
I just bought a ssg10 after running aeg for 2 years. My performance went from playing well and killing people to struggleing with angles to Engage. Its like learning airsoft again, to me thats exciting
Another truth about airsoft sniping.... The big players like Novritsch, Kicking Mustang, Swamp Sniper, etc. use footage from all day and crammed them into what appears as a single game. It is misleading to players and they think airsoft snipers get 30+ kills every game when in reality with the sneaking and stealth and trying to get where you can get shots you may only get 3-6 per game if that. There is a video of Kicking Mustang where you can see this where his team switches colors of arm bands multiple times in one video and he gets called out on it in the comment section and responds saying it is from multiple games.
I tried sniping and tried it for a couple of weekends and then sold it afterwords of favor of a vector because it was to frustrating to see my bbs fly away
(Im british) If you want a sniper that's decent out the box I'd highly recommend a double Eagle m66 when I got mine it was .2 joules under the uk legal limit when running .30gram bbs
Im relativly new and had limited experiance with airsoft but ima get a sniper first since itll only be roughly 3 months till i can also get and aeg- My field has pretty good sniping positions and i think its my best option right now. + i dont care about cheaters id just not appreciate wasting a magf just for them to shoot me and then we both go out
Biggest problem with airsoft sniping is that they don't tell you that bolt actions have the biggest slam fire issue and will eventually happen no matter what
Slam firing happens because of your sear has weared off and shouldn't happen if you have a great aftermarket trigger mech set, which typically cost as much as the gun itself. It's basically the gearbox and gear equivalent of an aeg, and having your sniper almost always cocked in game so that we can immediately fire when needed, it's the same as having an aeg fully pre-cocked all the time. With factory sear set, it would already weared off in the firsr month. Except, as mentioned, if you have a great trigger mech.
The truth about airsoft sniping is that its useless. You can take the best sniper you know, replace his bolt with a dmr or an assault rifle, assign him to the same exact role and voilà : you just massively increased his efficiency
Airsoft media is great to get people into the hobby, but it can create an unhealthy relationship with your opponents because you think every enemy you "hit" is a cheater and that your laser vision and laser accuracy is the best out on the field. Airsoft isn't like CoD, sad to say for some folks, but it's equally as fun if you approach it from a hobbyist perspective.
If your not willing to put over 500 into upgrades for the rifle then don't bother. Makes me laugh when I see people bringing stock bolt actions to play. Quality parts last. My AA hop up is close to 6 years old.

I’ve had my G&G for two months now and it is still amazing. I ended up selling it only so I can get a Hpa. 9/10 gun.
Im too active to sit around, I tried the sniper role. Im a front line breacher .

I use my m4 as a sniper. It has a dialed in scope on it.
