I've never seen a love more beautiful and I don't think I ever will. I don't even know how to go on after finishing the novels, one of the best works I've encountered in my lifetime. For the first time in my life I teared up while reading a novel.. I consider myself pretty stone hearted but Hua Cheng broke me. It has been more than 3 years since I read that book but I can still feel the love. Love that is so pure. I think I actually learnt what love is from Hua Cheng. Devotion. In todays age i still wish that if someday I experience love in my life I want it to be like this. The devotion. It makes me want to be a better person to be worthy such love 💕💕

Yes dude same.. that chapter heart stabbed by hundred swords... I have read many tragic books ( song of Achilles, MDZS , fault in our stars etc) but this one actually got me teary, it has never happened to me before

I must say, I love all MXTX series but this one caught my heart and soul and took them to another level. Everything about TGCF is just so beautiful, the story, the characters, even the adaptations are beautifully created, we agree that the novels, the manhua and the donghua are none like others. I feel like "in love" is such an understatement to express my feelings towards this book. I lost words on how much I'm feeling lucky to encounter this masterpiece.
So glad that I'm studying chinese so that I can jam away while crying to this masterpiece-

@@piixelheart I’m studying Chinese too, but it’s actually my second language that I’m required to learn. Honestly I feel like its too hard but if you rly want to learn, I suggest reading Chinese books and memorising the phrases, which is what my mom makes me do :)
This is much more than a light novel for me. I've never read something that grasps the concet of love so deeply, it was the most beautiful thing seeing how much Hua Cheng loved Xie Lian, no matter what he did, no matter if he hurt him. It's wasn't that crappy obsession-love that's in most romance books, but something much more pure. This book series will forever hold a precious place in my heart

even after two years of reading this, i still cried whenever I read it again. The feelings that have been showed to us as a reader, the devotion and everything is just so raw and expressed that you can't help it but feel happy towards their union.
Just the sheer devotion and the struggles that Xie Lian go through makes me love the novel so much.
For 800 years, they have finally met once more and the lyrics of the song just fucking shows it man...

After reading the novel, that opening from 0:00 - 0:15 made me feel mix emotions while tears just fell instantly and I know I will never be able to get over this story.

I watch more GL than BL because I find that there is more substance in GL. But this??? I watched this donghua without knowing it was BL. I didn't understand the first episode but I kept watching because of the animation. Until now, I have never seen a more beautiful love than theirs. There are no words. No matter how many manhwas/manhua/manga I read, this is god tier.
You have to be trolling, I can’t watch GL because a lot of it is toxic or the couple isn’t very relatable. The amount of good GL I have found I can count on one hand. BL has FAR more substance, better writing and (most times) a healthier dynamic between the lovers
@@dynastygirl2912 that's because there is a popularity for toxic relationships. BL has its fair share. Funny how someone recommended me tons of red flag BL including rape. You could probably count the good GLs by hand because there are not a lot of them compared to BL. In general though, I feel BL has more sex than romance and some characters just jump to the sex part. BUT,,, im not saying BL is entirely bad. There are indeed good ones I can count by hand. And we have to agree that Heaven Official's Blessing is one of them

This is a story I absolutely fell in love with. I've never been this in love with a story. Hualian has the most beautiful story and dynamic. The devotion, trust, longing, sincerity is so precious. There were few parts of the story that is hard to get through, like when Xie lian broke the rules and descended, the fleeing hope and desperation of his people and the way he stoped trusting others and himself too. Again, the part I'm currently on, after his first banishment, how he fell from grace, trying his hardest to maintain some of his past pride and dignity but failing to do so, how he forced himself to pawn the sword the emperor gave him which he loved a lot, to pay for his father's medicine. The suffering was so well depicted. There were also with hua chang. How he build the cave of ten thousand gods but all ten thousand was only one god, the mural all of this representing his longing to meet and be with this person. Also, when xie lian set him free with some other ghosts 800 years ago, but he said he wanted to protect his beloved. The devotion is so sincere that xie lian could always feel it. How he tells xie lian to do what he wanted to do but always protected him by his side. Also, whenever xie lian is in trouble the first person he this of is always hua chang. How xie lian notices that hua chan subconsciously smiles whenever he sees xie lian. I've watched founder of diabolism/ Grandmaster of demonic cultivation/ the untamed (same author's another work) but undoubtedly heaven official's blessing will always be my all time favourite.

For me I feel like out of all of mdzs's novels they have the most love for eachother. Like obviously with wangxian and in svsss they love eachother a lot and obviously Lan Zhan loves Wei wuxian a ton too and they other way around but in both of these couples they have lived a fraction of xie Lian and hua Cheng's lifetimes. Hua Cheng has loved xie Lian for 800 years and that literally can't be topped. Obviously people can argue that Lan Zhan and bing he would've waited 800 years too and I'm not saying that they wouldn't, all I am saying is that for hua Cheng xie Lian is everything he loves and his whole heart. For Xie Lian, he loves nothing and no one more than he loves hua Cheng and it says in the last chapter of the main novel that he'd also wait just as long or even longer for hua Cheng. With xie Lian hua Cheng literally wouldn't be able to function. He died 3 times for xie Lian and would've died however many times he needed too, waited 800 years but was prepared to wait forever, built a massive temple for xie Lian and prayed to it everyday, rejected heaven for xie Lian, carved 10000 statues of him, gave his ashes to Xie Lian at the first chance he could knowing that if xie Lian wanted to he could disperse them and hua Cheng would be fine with it ,ripped out his eye so he could have a sword worthy of protecting xie Lian and so he could become strong enough for him and he did all of it without ever even thinking xie Lian would love him back. Now the other ships in mdzs are good but they aren't as good. I think lots of the people who prefer mdzs prefer the story line and maybe the relationship dynamic. The point is hua Cheng and xie Lian are immortal all powerful being who love eachother withe everything they have so I so strongly stand by the fact there is no other couple that loves eachother more 💞 they invented love
