Honestly this is the best drama as well as the most influential one that I ever watched. I cried many times watching the last few episodes, and the ending sure sastified me. I just wish that I can forget about it, and watch the whole thing over and over again. This song is also my fav song ever now, it can be slow, as well as powerful. The singer also have an amazing voice. Everything about this movie is nothing less than perfection. Kinda wanna to be born back in the ancient chinese time. Being an asian, im proud, and love the cultural. Got bless the film’s director.

Idk how to explain it, but that's it 🤷🏻♀️ I learned a lot of English songs in childhood when I didn't know it at all (English is not my native). Also, I once learned (and still kinda remember it) the chorus of a Chinese song I loved very much though I didn't know Chinese. So I think if you really try hsrd it's 100% possible. Or just listening to a song a lot will help.

Eternal love is just as good, I watched it first and thought there would be nothing better than Ye Hua, but hello Xu Feng lol. I think Ashes of love is overall better because Jinmi does a lot of personal growth as a caracther. It starts all goofy comedy style and it evolves into such a heartbreaking drama. The wedding chapter is the absolute best I've seen, incredibly well acted que executed!

I'm obsessed with Ashes of Love and I don't think any other Chinese drama can beat the beauty of this story. JinMi and Xu Fengs love for one another was so pure, especially Xu Feng. He was so committed, pure, loyal, and sweet. His character got me dreaming of leaving my husband for God of Fire. Lololol

And as for the low notes, I'm focusing on my chest voice, have been training alot since it's my weak spot. I just guess practising to widen the vocal range pays off. A teardrop, that’s me describes the ending when xufeng realizes that jinmi was in his eyes the entire time. You are me, we are inseparable literally means they are the same person.

That is what I observe on Run Yu. He needs love because in what I learn in my class in psychology, when a child doesn't felt love, he will grew callous........ Same also with people who grew up in a type of environment where there's a lot of violence and oppression......... I agree to an extent. It's sad that he hadn't felt love. However... His brother did in fact love him and though his father didn't show it due to his wife he still cared for his eldest son. Then there's his servant who deeply loves him but he ignores her feelings to chase jinmi who only loves his brother. He has love around him he just doesn't care to see it. he was blinded by rage and his obsession with jinmi. If he loved her he would've let her be with his brother... He wouldn't keep her prisoner. He wouldn't demand love from her when he knows she loves someone else. He's so obsessed that he ignores those who do love him. Kinda sad. But in a way he wrote his own tragedy.

I'm obsessed with Ashes of Love and I don't think any other Chinese drama can beat the beauty of this story. JinMi and Xu Fengs love for one another was so pure, especially Xu Feng. He was so committed, pure, loyal, and sweet. His character got me dreaming of leaving my husband for God of Fire. Lololol

I'm halfway through Ashes, and Xue Feng's love is otherworldly. The only other love I can compare it to is another XiFeng, in Love and Redemption.

@@joyce1343 I'm doing it with no problem, after a good warm-up I go up till f/fis6. I guess it depends on the day and how you're feeling too. And as for the low notes, I'm focusing on my chest voice, have been training alot since it's my weak spot. I just guess practising to widen the vocal range pays off. I'm gonna sing this song in one week at the Chinese New Year party, still worried about my Chinese though ^^

The song actually describes the drama, especially the ending. Left hand turns to feathers means Xu feng, right hand turns to scales means runyu. A teardrop, that’s me describes the ending when xufeng realizes that jinmi was in his eyes the entire time. You are me, we are inseparable literally means they are the same person.
The way i imitate the high notes but end up sounding like a goat 😭Also the song is very emotional it tells the story of the three main characters, their struggles and friendship and rivalry. Damn i regret not searching this song quickly after i finished watching AOL.
It's only me crying over this song just because of Runyu suffering and deserves better. The only thinks he needs is love. And people didn't get it.
That is what I observe on Run Yu. He needs love because in what I learn in my class in psychology, when a child doesn't felt love, he will grew callous........ Same also with people who grew up in a type of environment where there's a lot of violence and oppression......... How I wish that the actor who portrayed Run Yu will never absorbed Run Yu in his present personality............
I agree to an extent. It's sad that he hadn't felt love. However... His brother did in fact love him and though his father didn't show it due to his wife he still cared for his eldest son. Then there's his servant who deeply loves him but he ignores her feelings to chase jinmi who only loves his brother. He has love around him he just doesn't care to see it. he was blinded by rage and his obsession with jinmi. If he loved her he would've let her be with his brother... He wouldn't keep her prisoner. He wouldn't demand love from her when he knows she loves someone else. He's so obsessed that he ignores those who do love him. Kinda sad. But in a way he wrote his own tragedy.
Truth be told, anyone who watched this drama and loved it, now we can't watch any other Chinese drama without comparing and missing everything about this drama. The music the outfits the drama the fights everything was great. This drama will be eternal

throught out the song we could spot characters or imagine scenes from the drama.... this song is like story telling.... like the line "Between my brows, ten thousand years of snow has fallen" this happens when jinmi sacrfice herself between the war of xu feng and run yu, she dies and lives inside xu fengs eyes as she was a snow element like xu feng was fire, for ten thousand years and then comes out becomming a tear drop for some moments.....I'm listening this song after soooo many months but i still cried my heart out after reading the lyrics as they reminded me of the whole drama....loved this song and the composition is so emotion provoking...it is just amazing just how this amazing singer tried to convey the accurate emotions of the drama and the actors through this mesmerisingly thought provoking song....loved it...
