I have the same watch in my collection which I purchased quite a few years ago now..I removed the bracelet and put it on a black strap. My watch came in a plastic box and the colour of the back-light is different. An excellent and very accurate timepiece with it having multiband. It does look big though on my smaller size wrist but is wearable. I later purchased the Casio G-Shock 5610 which fits perfectly on my wrist and is solar powered and has multiband 6.
@@sathishrao7926 yes!!! 500 subscribers, I real milestone, thankyou. This is one special watch, the collection is definitely stronger for owning this one.
My Lineage M170 came in a tin but without a box. Edit: older versions had electro luminescent lighting which is blue/teal colored and the newer models have a LED backlight.
@@ajkalami great looking watch, blue dial. Maybe in the future that’ll be one of my reviews, so many watches to choose from. I’ll see what I can do. 👍🏻
@@ebob4177 yeah I was the same for ages, probably looked at it over 10 times and then decided to go for it. I think there’s a site called tictakarea that’s currently selling it at £47

The ones with a blue backlight has the older type of "electro illuminence", these later batches had the amber LED which is more energy efficient in terms of battery consumption (but i prefer the blue). I've had both.
Had this watch for about 2 yrs. really like it it's only MB5 rather than the usual MB6 so wont pick up the Chinese tower, but it does give you the option of day/month which is handy if your in the UK
Thanks for the review of an interesting watch that will be on the wish list. I was curious about how the world time feature works. Does it change the time automatically as you travel through different time zones?
@@Tim2pointoh yeah it is a weird price band, it’s expensive for a standard Casio and not a million miles away from a lot of G-Shock models in terms of price. But man I love the look of this thing 😁
With a rubber strap it's ok. I have on a Lorus rubber straps and it's ok. The original strap is rubbish and is not so stainless ... dropped some lemonade and is already rusty.... NATO straps aren't good ... Make bulky the watch ... Leather is better but the strap is way expensive to this watch ...
Atomic clock is a media of 6 atomic clock s disparate on the globe ... Nobody's have the exact time on Earth ... even GPS is an approximation. The caliber is enough accurate for the price. This is my second time zone watch set to destination zone ( regulate by atomic wave) and my another watch rest in my original time zone ... It worth for this task ...
I have one of these and wear it on an olive green nato. The square case combined with the squareness of the nato strap looks really cool.
What band size is this?? Did you need any special tools for the swap??
@@Croceye33 it’s 20mm, and I just used a normal spring bar tool to change the strap.
