Hi 👋, Martin , I hope you are keeping safe and well, apart from the headache 🤕, Humpty Dumpty put it back together again,
We all make mistakes , it’s the way we Resolve the issue, this is where your skills and your perseverance comes in to play, well done, it’s still looks like a masterpiece, over the past few months, I have made some bits and pieces on the lathe, I’ve even been back to the UK, picked up a 6 boards of ash that I had got in storage five boards of Brazilian mahogany that I got about 20 or 30 years ago, and I have picked up my very large engineers tail stock, but I had set up back in 1998, 1999, I had it motorised, so I could make the tops for peppermill, I’ve taken all of the electronics off of it and put it back to a normal tail stock, It’s a lovely piece of kit I think it’s got a number five Morse taper, with the adapters to go down to a number one., The thing I like about it is that it’s got a travel of 150 mil,
And last week I made up a very large boring tool , I’m hoping to have a go to make a vase somewhere 24 to 30 inches deep, Could be interesting, 😂, all this for future, happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year, Phil from the moulin,
