I agree 100% with all you said, the best way to play the game is to do it vanilla, I'm not against icon hack but personally I like to work hard for an icon I really like so I can display my achievements. Also physics bypass is changing how the game works so is cheating, even if everyone uses it, period.
Now I think that some trigers have to get an update such as the music(it doesn't contain the main levels song for some reason) or the time warp triger (it will be better if robtop adds an option that slows the music with the gameplay) (day 1 till xcg talks about it in a video)
If you don't want to use cbf because it changes the physics, theres a mod called click on steps which gives you the accuracy of a high refresh rate monitor without actually changing the physics (effectively fps bypass without the performance cost)

Instant complete: ditto Bot: I would recommend using it for showcases or silly stuff, but other than that it's cheating.

cbf doesnt actually make much of a difference on most levels other than top 1s and levels with lots of frame perfects so i personally believe it isnt cheating for casual players who dont play a lot of levels like that.

Obviously there are achivements that are harder then another, especially with 2.2 but with time and dedication you can get them pretty easily. They aren't really hard in a way that is genuinely difficult to get but instead they are just super grindy. 10k moons for an icon, grinding lists to get 200 list rewards, beating 365 daily levels for a cube and a lot more. You can't do much about it but slowly getting through it. I like the fact that the community can actually grind stuff and we don't just get everything in like a week. 2.2 was a really big update so its nice that RobTop added content that lasts looong.
It wasn't as far as I know. There was a drama where there was a cbf detector on nullscapes though that prevented you from playing with cbf. And I would've sworn I read somewhere specifically that it wasn't verified with cbf. Could be wrong but it would be weird for that cbf detector to be there after being verified with it...
I'd say everything that enhances your gameplay past the normally posible. Ex: Using a macro is cheating, because you only need to do a practice run to beat the level in normal mode, which isn't possible in normal GD. Ex: Fps enhancing isn't cheating, because it is possible to get higher Fps normally in GD, by using a more expensive Setup Remember this is only MY opinion, and you are free to disagree.

I consider cbf cheating because robtop said so. I don't agree with the scale in two parts: - I'd have switched Icon hack and solid wave trail, as technically you could unlock the icons yourself, but you shouldn't have been able to use solid wave trail except if the creator intends it. - CBF is a continuation of FPS bypass, technically pushing the amount of frames to infinity. It makes the game as fair as possible across all budgets, which I find is the way it should be. It's not like physics bypass, which alters how many times a second the interactions with game forces are calculated. Those are completely different. CBF uncouples input, display and physics, and only affects input. As far as I'm aware on this topic, I'd say CBF should've been and should be the standard in the game forever.

Now, let’s compare spaceuk to someone like fnm04. He hacks levels and then posts them on his UA-cam channel, just like space does. But what's the difference between them? One is open about using these hacks, while the other is not. We shouldn't discourage the use of external tools, instead we should discourage dishonesty.
