A 17/18mm deep socket will press the electrical end out perfectly. No need for a special tool.

Great video, do you torque the dummy plug to 60 ft lbs as well? And also is the Injector 26 ft lbs? (For an 07)

I am doing stand pipes now and had a hack job before me. 2 valve cover bolts broke and 3 of the torx bits screws were missing..

The kit comes with the standpipe, dummy plug and another round plug with an Oring. Where does that go???

Great video, a little repetitive but covered everything but where the green O ring goes? I can't find it anywhere???

Green o-ring is for the crank case vent hose on the driver's side valve cover. The small hose that goes from the crank case vent to the intake tube gets that o-ring at the part where the tube enters the crank case vent

Hi, Please tell me about how long this takes. Shade tree mechanic is asking for $1750 labor. It was in for the hpop. Is it possible the hpop wasn't bad and the tubes or dummy plugs were bad?

Ive heard it’s more common for a hpop to go out on 03s and 04s but 05 and up have the newer style hpop and that it’s very rare but has happened before that they go out, I’ve been fighting a crank no start on my 06 and I’m about to change the standpipes and dummy plugs to see if that fixes it

Yes. Very well possible if it's an 06 that the hpop is good but an oring is bad on a stand pipe or dummy plug
