Cool bag.....I'm a big max fan! Great gear
quickly becoming my new favorite channel
Great review thanks hank!
that's a nice bag. I have been leaning towards smaller bags lately. I need to carry spare mags, a tactical light, a medium size folding Knife, a multitool, dental floss, a tourniquet and my Gopro camera with spare batteries and a water bottle at a bare minimum.
Excellent review, thanks.
Really a pretty nice bag!
Great review, quick question whom are you using to make you rubber patches which you show at the end of the vid ?
That’s a sweet purse;)
Considering upgrading to this one. It's got some bells and whistles that my older Maxpeiditon bag doesn't. And I like the new style. The collapsible water-bottle taken from Direct action bags and others is a nice touch. Love the honeycomb texture and the set up. Very much like that the main compartment opens out and away vs having a flap that you need to flip up. This means better access when the bag is 'on you' vs having to take it off and sit it down to get proper access to the main panel.
The video review doesn't really show the 'tear open' CCW compartment to it's fullest. It's designed to be able to grab that tab and yank it open. Which is neat. I don't HAVE the bag yet so I'm not sure how viable it is, but I know that's part of the design element. YANK-->DRAW.
I'll be a little curious as to how it wears. Those big zipper pulls look like they might bounce around a good bit and add some gingle. You can secure them down but that sort of defeats the purpose.
Looks great though. My only problem is I have about 15 high end bags. If I try and go for another my wife might kill me. lol.
How does it look on ya? People never include that for some reason. However, great review 👍
Nice video , good review but I would have liked to see how it wears...like trying it on...thx
Hank , you forgot to show HOW it wears on the body and HOW u draw WHILE on the body . But thank you for the review .
Not a bad bag but my favorite is the Last Resort™ Tactical Attaché (Small), it's been freaking awesome and they are on closeout for 103 bucks. I get asked at least a few times a week where I got it.
I HAVE THIS WOLFSPUR AS WELL! GREAT BAG & ITS WORKS GREAT WITH ALL MY GEAR THAT I CARRY. THE ONLY THING OR ISSUE I HAVE IS WHEN IM WALKING WITH MY BAG THE SNAPS COME UNDONE AND I DONT LIKE THAT. I THOUGHT ABOUT SEWING THE SNAP PART ON.. NOT SURE YET. GREAT REVIEW YOU DID.....
THANKS! I WILL
This or the covert ZAP 5.11?
I'd like a slim form factor; it socks having a small pack that sticks out a foot or 2
One sweet murse!
How is your experience with this bag after a month now?
Put the bag on and Demo it.
how deep is the Wolfspur bag?? hold a sub2000??
Curious choice to leave the cover on the red dot. High drag, low speed. Feels like you're reviewing this bag, yet this is the first time you've played around with the bag (for example, not knowing where the bungee cord to hold the bottle snaps in to.)
It doesn't need to be rehearsed, but everything you said was straight from the spec sheet. I would like a little more nuance please.
That's was a gear slinger either a Kodiak or Sitka
Or maybe a notak
Are you forced to carry it in one side?
Nice bag, not my type but mice.
Great bag for CCW, excellent ergonomics without all that molle gimmicks.
3 problems:
1.Over priced
2.Way overpriced
3.WTF is that price!?
Maxped bags are a bit steep to start with
That said bags of these nature "In the market' are all pretty steep.
The AGR is Maxped's new flagship line so they're up about 10 to 15%
Some other bag companies get crazy high. Maxpedition makes good stuff. Usually a little pricy for me, I prefer 5.11 or Direct action (Which are also expensive)
This one has a unique look though and if you want the look and the way it opens (That top down fold out, instead of a flap over the top) It'll be worth a few extra bucks.
I like the bag, and I think that it will be perfect for my needs. I"m willing to pay extra $ for high quality, but when compared to high quality backpacks from Vaude and Osprey for example, they usually retail for 50-80$.
Maxpedition products are a bit pricey, but the AGR line is way overpriced.
maxpedition is overpriced because they are forced to compete with chinese sweatshops who are blatantly cloning their bags.
lolololololololololololololololol
Maxpedition AGR-line bags are more expensive than Legacy or Condor and 5.11 is beacuse they're made from better and more "exotic" materials such as nylon seatbelt webbing, multiple weight cordura, gossamer mesh, branded buckles, zippers and fasteners. This has nothing to do with Chinese made "tactical" bags you find at Ross or Amazon.
IMO most complainers about price are 1) poor and/or 2) wouldn't appreciate the quality of a more expensive and "better" product.
Hank, do you find the zippers hard to open and close? I just got one of these and the zippers are really stiff, especially in the corners of the bottom pocket. I'm considering calling Maxpedition but I won't if it's something that will just wear in.
messmeister92 how are the zippers now?
That black sling backpack is a noatak. Yup it is bigger. Wolfspur is in the same line with the fatboys.
your review is perfect only showing 20 Times your gun is al little bit to much but thanks for your great review
Your intro voice sounds like Sam Andrews.
would you say you could run with this bag with out it swing all around and up and down and what not .
This is not an EDC bag, more of a Get Home bag.... Look into the, Fat Boy by Maxpedition.
yes. because it has a waist belt. i have done many missions with it is South America and Iraq. Never had a problem with it swinging around.
I see no way to tighten down the bungee cord drink compartment without a clip on the inside of the bag or retrying the bungee cord from the inside. The clip on the outside is a nice move but non adjustable bungee makes it useless. Otherwise a top notch Maxpedition bag.
you showed everything except how it looks when carried
Looks acceptable for FL (specifically Marion county). you rock it well, its now a possible instead of a maybe in my book.
Looks like you have to carry it in the right side of your body
way overpriced but a nice bag... will keep my old version
So how much is this going to set us back if ?
It's annotated in the first 40 seconds of the video.
Just went to there Web site they got some nice equipment ! Thanks
+Maine Man they make some quality gear for sure.
$152.99 minus your 10%
Thanks: Put it on the wish list !
I am not impressed with this and I have several Maxpedition Bags. I like the Fat Boy. It has a mag pouch on the exterior of the bag and the strap can hold a knife. I don't see this as an EDC bag but a Get Home Bag and there are differences. I can keep up to a Glock 19 in my back portion of the bag. It can be worn in 5 different positions, one being on your thigh. Yes you can run with this bag on. It's to big it too much for and EDC bag.
Maxpedition is way to proud of their stuff. You can find just as good much cheaper.
usually enjoy your videos but I just can not get excited about a purse, I just don't think men should carry purse
Yeah I have a shoulder bag. Its a black label bag. Good for cc but i use it as a baby bag and first aid kit.
Good point.
It's a manpurse, thank you very much!
the seatbelt strap sucks.
