Hi Ian, thanks for the book. I bought both PDF and Kindle versions. I have a question about feedings. It says for puppies there should be three feedings a day. Does that include water as well? I was reading another site that said puppies should get a half cup of water every 2 hours. Also, how many hours before bedtime would you cut off water?

I tried and change the spot but still. Every-time we go outside she doesn't't wan to go there. Please advise. Thanks

I’m getting a new puppy in October and I am living in a condo. There is community potty grass here but the breeder said the puppy should not use this grass until all the vaccinations are complete. What do I do in the meantime if I can’t take him out to this grass to relieve himself until go shots are complete?
You'll have to use an indoor toilet for a few weeks until you can use the outdoor, and then hit it hard (the training, not the puppy).

I feel I need to reach out as I downloaded the book and the first part of the mindset bit says that they naturally don’t relieve themselves where they eat or sleep. My 10 week old dog pees on his bed. I’ve washed it more times than I care to count. I will keep reading your book, but I was hoping to get some inside get on this. Also, he seems extremely none compliant in terms of structured walks. When I try to do a leash correction, he attempts to bite my leg. I currently use a harness as he is still really small and I don’t want to hurt him with a collar. Please tell me its because he is really young still and that he’s just getting used to the routine?
Hi L. That's definitely not a normal thing, so there may be other factors involved: perhaps the sleeping space is too large, perhaps the puppy can't hold it and you're waiting too long, perhaps the puppy has a bladder infection (although you'd see more mistakes other places too with that). Maybe they peed on something like that at the breeders. Is this bed in a pen or crate? Maybe your puppy doesn't view it as a sleeping place as you do. It's definitely a hindrance to your work. I'd say right now, just remove the bed altogether until potty training is dialed in more.
For your walking: 10 weeks old is very young to be so strict with walking. Leash corrections on a puppy that young are absolutely inappropriate. Even correction-based trainers will tell you to wait until 6-months old before giving corrections. You don't need leash corrections for teaching walking anyways. We also have a couple of online courses including a walking one. You need to teach the walking skills in a neutral environment first. Do your structured walks inside. When you're outside, just explore and work on engagement. For a 10 week old puppy, exploring the world is a way more important part of socialization…much more important than how it looks right now.

HELP! I feel like my puppy thinks its okay to pee right where he sleeps. Last time we had to change his bed four times in one night cuz he kept peeing in his crate. he used to whine when he had to pee before but now he whines after hes done peeing in his crate🤦♀️
What's the crate sizing? Is there a lot of extra room?

Honestly…I forgot about it. Between email, Facebook, Instagram, Patreon, and Twitter, I struggle keeping up on everyone everywhere. I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for the eBook - it was a godsend for me and my pup!
Although my 10-week old pup isn't 100% potty-trained (there's the occasional accident - but that's my fault, not hers!), she always does her business on grassy areas and avoids the floors when I can take her out. We live in a high-rise apartment with wooden floors which she hasn't peed on once this entire week!

Purchased the PDF....wanted to print and read at home....nothing but problems and waste of paper. only prints the first 4 pages over and over and over and over and over...you get the point. tried to adjust settings....paper sizes....ect....nothing!!! the content is probably good but the experience for me is not!
I have trained a lot of dogs over the years , I use the bell on the door method , most of my pets were poodles , so I know they are smart but , I also had schnauzers , ok to my dilemma ,we are retired now we lost our sweet poodle female , I think females are smarter lol , so we were grieving and my daughter went out and bought use a 12 oz party yorkie ,so I have tried everything in the book to train her with no luck we have a well fenced in back yard so I let her out and she plays even when im telling her to do her thing over and over , oh and she's at 3lbs now , she will come right back in and do her business in the floor , she is also 16 mos now with no results , could she be a little dumb I hate to say that word . I will buy your book when I can im desperate I don't want to be mopping pee up my last days . HELP
