Welcome back to yourself, Alex! You are an amazingly courageous person. Thank you so much for pointing out the mental changes that come with weight loss.
Good work! My personal tips would be gummies over chocolate (330ish vs 500+ kcal). Although if you like me can't open a bag without finishing...well these bags are double the size so same same. Then the protein mousse au chocolat. Really very close to normal ones . And with protein shakes scitec whey salted caramel.
This is awesome! I saw the community post last night 🎉 I totally agree on your “I don’t think like that” part. Although I’m on the keto end, we both do the same thing: avoid PUFAs and eat whole foods. Avoiding PUFAs is huge because you’re cutting all the addictive junk made in food laboratories that contains no real nutritional value. I wish more people would just try it for 30 days and see how they feel ETA nobody likes an evangelist 😅 like even though keto works for me, it’s not the Only Way. I’d 100% rather have real cream ice cream made with normal sugar rather than “frozen dairy dessert” chock full of oils and high fructose corn syrup. Striving for perfection will ruin everything. I’ve had occasional red wine, cheesecake, and snacks myself. It’s just not all the time and I try to avoid the overly processed PUFA versions of those things. If what you’re doing is working then screw the people scolding you
My doctor was concerned about my weight loss (went from overweight to low normal) so I got my thyroid tested, and despite the weight loss, perfect thyroid levels! I bet it’s because of cutting out seed oils cuz other than the calorie deficit, that’s the only thing I removed from my diet The proof is in the blood work!
I mean. It's the caloric deficit. Seed oils bad is overgeneralizing. I don't believe any kind of food is terrible except transfats n such, totally burned stuff etc. That said lost 45 lbs last year and sure it was somewhat low-fat because fat is high in calories
Soooo amazed of your hard and concistet work! You are a strong person and you will only grow stronger and more awesome from now on! You WILL reach your goals!
An enormous congratulations 🎉. I really appreciate all of your honesty. I could relate to a lot of what you were saying. I'm so glad you kept going no matter how hard it can get
Congratulations! Very happy for you, such a massive milestone. I find your insights into this topic really relatable too. I've been working at it for years now, started at super morbidly obese (BMI of 54.7) and am now right on the cusp of a healthy weight (BMI of 25.6). It can be difficult to explain how it changes you. Physical health has such a major impact on psychological health... and you are definitely right about building muscle. It should be the priority!
I’m so freaking proud of you 😊 and thank you for being honest about your journey. It is difficult, probably the most difficult thing anyone has to do but people need to love themselves enough to save their own lives. We can’t count on anyone but ourselves to do the hard work it takes to survive this world. It’s difficult but possible and you did it and you showed others that they can do this also 😊 Keep going. You’re doing amazing 🤩
When I talked about losing 50 pounds of fat last year, I meant April to October. LOL.
Congrats!! 🎉 what an amazing achievement!
So happy for you 💗
Congratulations!!!!! I’m so proud of you!! 😭😭❤
Congratulations on such a milestone! Keep up the great work!
THIS IS MOMENTOUS! I'm so happy for you. You worked hard to get here!

It has been tough but I think it’s important for people to be prepared for potential issues. It’s all worth it (to lose the weight) of course.
I really admire your perseverance. You're such an inspiration. Congratulations and keep on crushing it!
That’s awesome, congratulations!

@gur262 seed oils are just as bad as trans fats LOL
