I did it and basic is fun. I’m a 67 year-old woman and I lost my mother approximately two months ago right after her 98th birthday. Today was a hard day, grief hits you at unexpected times. But I decided to do this workout and I felt so much better.Exercise really is medicine not just for the body but the spirit and the soul. Thank you for a fun healing workout.

i did it. basic is FUN. no but really. i have been doing your workouts consistently for about a month now. every day you’re on, i’m on. i’ve lost 20 lbs and i could only ever reach my right foot for a quad stretch but today I WAS ABLE TO REACH MY LEFT FOOT TOO. AHHHH. i’m so excited im getting more flexible and healthy. thank you for all you do chris ♥️

My 1 year anniversary of working out with CDormer Fitness. Chris is a fantastic instructor who never stops motivating me to be the best me. I’ve gone from basic step to intermediate/slightly advanced in a year with a 2025 goal of becoming comfortable with advanced. I started weight classes with 5-8 pounds last year and now Im regularly lifting 12-15 pounds. My flexibility, balance & mobility have improved. I look forward each day to a new workout that works mot only my body but my brain. I’m also thrilled that my bone density has improved! Thank you Chris - you’re the best. ❤

This was a great workout to just keep you moving and build step confidence! I was surprised no commercials showed up but I will say I have been using the commercial breaks to get extra drinks and practice hard moves that I have a hard time doing. Keeping it positive and moving! Thank you for putting these workouts together!
I am 63 abd just got over covid. Came back to Chrises stepper and saw this new one. It was perfect to get me back into workibg iut and it was fun!!! I will still do it even if I am hopefully not recovering from covid! Thank you Chris for all your hard work😊
I like interspersing basic step with the intermediate workouts. I can push myself more because the moves are familiar and I'm not worried about getting confused with more complex segments!
Basic is fun! Loved this one and the music was great! Found Chris almost a year ago after I had two shoulder surgeries and had to take a break from my weights. I've never been a cardio queen since I've always preferred weights. But these step classes are a ton of fun and make the time go fast. Sometimes I even do one during my lunch break! As someone who has moved on to intermediate/advanced step, I have to say that revisiting basic classes is not only fun, but it's also helpful to go back and fine tune the movements so that the more advanced classes become easier. Thank you for offering all the levels! Basic is fun! 🎉

I love Basic Step even though I’ve been a stepper for years. When the bpm is high, I remove risers. When it is 130 or less, I use risers. Love options!
Basic is fun with Chris! The music was so awesome and I was able to just let go and listen to the music and move instead of focusing on the step work. Sometimes there are just a body issue or day you just can’t go all out even as an advanced stepper and these classes are perfect to still allow movement. I had a blast, thank you!
