It would be great to have a video for UA-cam beginners covering the basic settings and color grading for a talking head video, focusing on the essentials. :) Maybe the way you are doing it for your own youtube videos...
flattered, but my youtube set up is not standard and by no means even a decent 3 point light set up. I convert my grading suite that is for clients into a UA-cam studio with one light and a blue light in the background for effect. Im not a lighting expert for filming - im usually found fixing it in color!

Question - I have the Speed Editor and therefore Davinci Resolve full version. I am still considering purchasing the mini panel.
But if I instead purchase the new micro panel, launced 2024 at NAB and as said already have the Speed Editor what functions if any will I not have compared to the mini panel.
When I say functions I mean adjustments made by a knob or wheel since the mouse and keyboard always can be used to do adjustments.
Just to add I do also have the a Wacom unit.
Today I bascially only do color adjustments and still learning but will expand the use of Davinci to the cut page as well as fusion over time.

Sir I have done my grading in rec 709 color space now have to trim in dci p3 ...what is a method how to trim pass in projection room should I change the luts rec to dci or convert rec to dci with CST..pls..

Which version of DR software does it require?
Sorry if that’s nothing related but I’ve asked a question related to magic mask in previous videos but never got any reply from anyone so far…
When I track my subject with Magic Mask and do some correction in that node, it first works fine but as soon as I go to previous node in the tree to do some tweak, I see my adjustment in the Magic Mask node automatically disappear, like it got reset. So I go to that Mask node again and see my selection is still there but I need to track my it again. But again, if I want to do a new adjustment in another node the magic mask "resets" again, which make it very difficult to work on grading. Is it supposed to be like that or am I doing something wrong? Thank you in advance.

color science: davinci YRGB
time color space :Dwhite gamut intermediate
output color space: rec 709gamma 2.4
QUESTION IS you put cst at the beginign and at the end shoul i not use this csts??? and deletet them?? should selece where it says timeline rec 709??? what should i do to set up the rigth color space to work with if my camera produces rec 709????? no cst???? just grade and thats it??
