@@ChristopherOdd We are very blessed. He has other complications but he is in remission and the trial drug, iwilfin/dfmo, he was on has been approved as a treatment option for other kids with high risk neuroblastoma. He just learned to ride his bike on his own! Finally doing kid things.

A gate is 3 tiles wide and lets a lot more enemy units attack it. You don't need a gate in every wall. Just break a single wall piece to let units through where needed and then fill the gap when an attack is coming. You could also put some wooden stakes outside the gap, in case you forget to close it. 27:45 You only get all back if you cancel it while paused after you have placed it. Once it starts to build, you will get less back.
I highly recommend the monument: Eye of the Beholder. I never got until my 8th campaign or so. I always get it, now. Seeing everything on the map really helps out.
I really enjoyed playing this game. It was challenging enough to keep me invested. Happy to see its still going strong years later. Please make a CO-OP mode or multi player version. Playing this with or against friends would be a huge money 💰 maker.

I would much rather watch you play survival mode than the campaign in this game. Also, just a friendly little tip; try to build as few gates as possible when you build walls. They are the weakest part of any defensive layer. You can also build your gates with one piece of it stuck behind terrain. This means the zombies can only hit it from 2 tiles instead of 3. Just helps that little bit more when the horde is pouring in from all directions.

There's a way you can set it up. I think you change the life bar key from alt to a key that is affected by numlock (say, 0) then you hold the key down, when the life bars are on press numlock and when you release they should stay on. I might not have that 100% correct but it's something like that.
@@luckyjynx @ChristopherOdd yes, tie it to a numpad digit and use num lock key to toggle. That way we can watch that Zombie sneaking in from much further away. A true popcorn moment
I never get that complaint from youtubers honestly. It's how you say it though. Constructive critcism, is the same really as constructive feedback "backseat" gaming.

When building in a tight spot I always found it helpful to use the simplified map view with F5 (or was it F4) that hides all the extra graphical "candy". Also handy to make sure there are no holes in the defenses. Great feature since you cannot rotate the view.

Yeah I ended up redownloading it...thankfully Elden Ring DLC has got my attention at the moment but this is such a great game. Do need to try out that legally distinctive vampire clone.
This game is great! I love the snipers. I usually just build them. Can't wait to see you get to the late game units. It helps if you plan out a square in the middle of your tents, there are alot of buildings that work with houses. Keep up the good work Mr. Odd!

used to be an exploit with the walls if you put them as a zig zag the enemies wouldn't know what to do. Not sure if they fixed that or not.
Food is such an issue, but refuse to research farms to solve it.
