The way that you present the information, and the gentle care in your voice makes listening and learning through your videos less daunting and scary. I turn 60 next month and my mother suffered from Alzheimer's. If someone has a strong family connection with Alzheimer's, do you recommend they ask their primary doctor for a referral to a neuropsychologist for evaluation given the possible benefits of early detection, or do you recommend waiting until the person is showing obvious symptoms?
A friend sent me your video on OT, which is something we both have and just recently talked about. We both have TBI's and you really nail it on our feelings and what we go through. Thank you. I sent one of your videos to my neuropsychologist, who's in school right now to further her education in this particular field, as you know, there aren't enough of you to go around. You have such an engaging way of speaking, I hesitate to bring this up, but I just wanted to mention something that I (and all by brain injured friends) struggle with. It's when people "speed talk". It's PAINFUL to me. I can't bear it. I know you have a wealth of information to share, but I was wondering if you could slow your speech down? People with brain injuries NEED pauses when listening to someone talk. I know you might feel it's unnatural, but it's good for our brains. I hope I didn't offend you, I just thought I would give you some input. Thank you for all that you do!
Love this one. I watch your vids often. typo at #10 57:22 minutes in... "too..." I'm paying close attention 😃... and I'll watch this one again. So good.

Exercise and meditation every day plus keep working. That’s it. You won’t be lonely ever!
