- In today's vlog, we visited another lovely cafe in the heart of Isaan, rural Thailand. Tried some ice cream, watched rice farmers hard at work and Mallory feeding the cows on the farm. Also KFC owes me a bucket hat!
Hope you enjoyed the vlog,

Thank you so much! Should see her when she's throwing a tantrum 🤣
เป็นกำลังใจให้ครับเด็กๆน่ารักมาก❤❤❤
Awww such a cute puppy. He loves the girls and they love him to 🐕. Coffee best drink of the day and a healthy breakfast sets you up for the day. Hard life being a farmer as you are up against the elements. Bravo too them but its there way of life. Kids with there ice cream easily pleased at that age. Enjoy your time🎉🎉. Love how the puppy follows Mallory. So gentle with the cows so sweet.
Another amazing day in Thailand. Thank you for another great video and as always hugs to the family.
Hi Nat Camila, Mallory and Kaya, you are certainly living the best of lives out there at the farm stay. That is really my type of life. I love Mallory's morning routine and she has a real affinity with al the animals, especially the little puppy which follows her around. The cows seem big to us so they must be enormous to her and yet she has no fear of them which is wonderful. I am never sure as to why farmers in Thailand keep cows as they are not for milk and they are so thin that they would not be much good for beef. Similarly with Buffalo, they used to be used for pulling the plough and other farm tasks but now, I think they are just a status symbol. It's a hard life for small Isaan farmers having to use Dak-daks to plough and till the land, and then sow rice by scattering it by hand, but somehow they seem to get by. We grew some glutenous rice last year on about a rai of land. It was hard work harvesting by hand and we made little or no profit from it! You are finding some fantastic cafes and restaurants on your travels. That's the thing about living in Isaan, you are never far from food 🙂 Thank for sharing as always. God bless you all and keep you safe.😀❤🙏
Brilliant comment, thank you so much 😊🙏
What a great difference from the concrete jungle
You all look happy and you will never regret your move back to the rural areas and also a lovely video well worth watching
The children are a natural on the farm.
More super content 😊😊😊😊
✨❤️✨Lovely day out with your cutie pies! Its amazing how the farmers work. Such a wonderful stressless environment. What does Duran fruit taste like? I know it smells awful. Have a great week. 💞💞💞💞
They work so hard! I like durian, it's got a creamy texture, but Camila hates it 😂
Lovely, and funny moments😊
Such a cute moment!
This is lovely! when we move to Thailand we’re definitely going do something like this. This was never in your plans but such great memory to look back on. #simplelife

Hi NativeFarang 👋

LIL STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🎉🥳♥️
3:37 that teddy bear is huge in comparison 😮
I like when Camilla, knowing that she doesn't have the Thai genes to burn off sugar, easily... passes on ice cream.
Looks like there are plenty of things to do and eat in rural Thailand where you guys live 👍. KFC lol...🤣
We were too annoyed at the pizza place running out of cheese so we knew KFC wouldn't let us down 😂
Great to see the family enjoying rural life again.
Rural life in Lotus and KFC
@@petersmith6520 Are you OK? Even locals visit Lotus and KFC from time to time 😂 Please read up the definition of rural. I'm pretty sure it doesn't mean isolate yourself and never leave 👍
@@lesgreen8508 most farmers in Isaan do not shop in western style supermarkets like Lotus or eat in nice restaurants simply because they cannot afford to.
@@petersmith6520 Didn't mention anything about farmers
Just woke up, early morning 😂 Not missing England
how much was the dishes you and your wife had? curious how it compares to Chiang Mai where we live.
The café meal came to just over 300 baht, for pad Thai, shrimp pad krapow, the kids meal, 2 coffees and a soda 😊
Title should read ‘Living a western life in Isaan Thailand’
Brilliant 👍
What is your problem man.Go somewhere else and winge
This was a long time ago Natt, but I asked my Thai girlfriend why there were so many Lady Boys in Thailand.
What do you think she said?
No idea?
@@NativeFarang Her theory was that a lot of Thai men beat their sons, so some of those sons would act like their sisters in an attempt to avoid being beaten.
BTW, this was also pretty common in the US when I was growing up. particularly in rural farming areas.
@@Dana-ie2bh it's due to usage of Atrazine. Chemical substance changing gender. Contained in monsanto fertilizers. Widely used in Thailand. Underground waters is full of it. Thai government tried banning it. Unsuccessfully. Due to pressure of the American "diplomacy". Your gf, and vast majority of common people wouldn't know it.
