    I wouldn't have sprayed the Navy on the rim & just primed it before the gold, to save on the navy paint, but I love this idea!

      Thanks! They were a lot of fun to paint! I really wish I had bought all 4 of the planters, but I was thinking they were too expensive. Little did I know that retail price from them are WAY more! LOL

    Rustoleum is an amazing spray paint, I use them on my custom action figures. Great flip for these planters. So chic.

    That blue is awesome! I like the addition of the gold. Never would have thought to have done it to a planter myself. But it does look awesome. A lot of furniture at the moment has a gold touch. So makes them look modern.

    Wow! You are SO good! Question. Have you ever tried Krud Kutter Deglosser/Paint Prep instead of sanding? It's supposed to be like liquid sandpaper, and work on every kind of surface. Supposed to be especially great for painting faux wood and laminate furniture. Sounds to good to be true.

    Love these! I recently found some heavy concrete planters that I want to paint. Any suggestions on how to clean them and what type of paint to use? They are porous since they are concrete.

      Just clean them first, they have stains and paint for concrete they have some really nice stuff at Lowe's and Home Depot

      @@crow9669 use dove dish soap, or a spray like fantastic and just wipe it it's a fine finish to shoes Dove and soapy water that should come clean if it's a tougher finish use the spray cleaner

      Yep, they're outside! Spray paint holds up very well to the outdoor elements, surprisingly!

      Thanks! I didn't think that it did, especially if it has primer in it. But it doesn't hurt to use it. Rustoleum asked me to use primer too so I guess so?? I painted a little playhouse without primer and the paint did well.

      I worked with Rustoleum on this and they included 2 other bloggers. They wanted all 3 of our videos to look similar so they hired an editor. Omg, what a great job they did, right?! The editors are like $2500 per day, so there is NO way I could pay that! So I'll be sticking to my own basic editing until I learn how to improve my editing. lol

      Because that is how Rustoleum edited the footage. I always edit my own footage, but Rustoleum wanted separate clips so they asked their editors to put everything into separate clips. Normally, my videos are like 8 minutes a piece! lol
