I used to hate going in the gym and only used it to warm up before tennis. I love it now though. I enjoy the challenge, the fight, and pushing myself past my limits.

I got to go to the US Open! It was an incredible experience yet again. I got to see Karolina Muchova vs Taylor Townsend, Karolina Pliskova and Donna Vekic play doubles, Barbora Krejcikova play Marketa Vondrousova in doubles, Caroline Wozniacki vs Jen Brady, Andrey Rublev practice, and the best of all, I got to see Coco and Novak practice! The only thing better would have been seeing you ❤. I did get pics with Andrey and Pliskova, a BeReal with Barbora, and a signature from all three and Donna! Karolina stole my Wilson sharpie 😂!!! It was my second year in a row seeing Barbora, plus my second self-made trading card that she signed! It was awesome! Don’t worry; I made a card of you too 😉. The BeReal of Barbora and I is my profile pic, if you would like to see it. Hopefully next time I’ll be able to see you! The 👑!
I have a set of resistance bands with handles and an anchor that goes behind a closed door to hold it in place firmly. has 5 different tension levels, works great, i do lateral arm flys; overhead serve motion, and backhand motion with these items. If the band were to ever break while i was doing forehand flys; i would face plant right INTO my fridge as im LEANING forward doing these; great for tennis!!

After seeing this video, I can see I need to step it up with my training bag!! (Mine only has: shoes, my lock, water bottle, one fruit for me to have when I’m done, one small towel, and some snacks for my cat for when she greets me at the door when I get back home❤.)

I noticed that I struggle a bit to know how to think when it comes to weather and clothes after a workout at the gym. I’m either too warm or too cold (if I don’t shower at the gym and change into my regular clothes right away). Gym etiquette is also something that still makes me feel a bit insecure, since I don’t really know what to do when it comes to that. Sometimes guys tell you to hurry up and move from a machine, and then I feel stressed about cleaning up (get paper towels and product to wipe down the machine so it’s nice for the next person). Lol, I’m a woman and 5’3, so I don’t feel that tough when these big gym guys corrects me😅
I usually swim or run on my own, so gym is sort of new to me and maybe a video from your channel, Ms. Williams, about social codes in public gyms and such as well as thoughts on how to dress pre. and after workouts? / Scandinavian

Why do some tennis players smash rackets and go nuts when they loose matches or loose points it’s like they are on some kind of high and when some of them loose they go bananas and go mental like they are on some kind of drugs and loosing the point or match means they can’t get that fix .
Or it’s like a child having his or her favourite sweet or treat or toy being taken away from . It’s not passion I see it as a fragile mentality or mental illness
