Hello, Band-Maid's Hate? live at Lollapalooza Chicago was great, but even more than Lollapalooza, the camera work and sound at Yokohama Arena were the best. And since the venue was huge, it was a great show where you could fully enjoy Kanami and MISA's bold and dynamic performances.

Kanami goes "Full-Mincho" when she is in the flow state. Look for the 2019 Summer Sonic performance by the Ladies, it's about 58 minutes long, but go to 20 minutes and 20 seconds to see Kanami go Full-Mincho.

We can all agree that those solos' are brilliant. But lend an ear to how Akane is so precisely in the pocket on the kit back there. Even with all the little variations & fills. They are such a trio in those instances. Miku is doing a fantastic job as usual with her guitar & backing vocals.
And of course there is the Queen. Saiki. The power. The grit. And the venom in this one is so good.

The stage seems to be a part of Yokohama Arena itself. Wagakki Band is the first band I saw perform there and they had an extended stage. I personally saw Babymetal there two nights recently and the stage was there. It’s so cool, so fun.

Right? Intellectually, I KNOW that's hyperbole and personal bias, but down in my music loving soul, I believe BAND-MAID are the best. So much joy, so much technical ability, such clever song writing, they just max out every band stat my ears care about.
