@@joeking6763 They did a pay portal to watch the concern in the internet and it was an amazing show. The DvD will come out in March, order your copy but don’t post it. What I’m saying is then when they release videos from that concert I hope is “Hate?” Is this same performance with the video quality it deserves.
@@joeking6763 did you deleted my reply, I posted yesterday and now can't find it. What I said is, that the DVD will be available on March and suggest you get a copy but don't post anything from that in UA-cam . We saw the show in december by paying to see it online if you couln't go to Japan. The perfomance weas amazing and it had the same arrangement it had in Lolla
Akane, MISA, and Miku are arguably the best rhythm section in rock today and they will certainly go down in history as one of the GOATs. Check out Moratorium (Live at Zepp Tokyo). Cheers!
Misa and Kanami's dueling solos are awesome. They played "Dice" just before this and transitioned straight into "Hate". There is 1 video on yt that has both songs.
I think the reason we love Hate so much is because the Maids have so much fun playing it. They get to go wild. Especially Saiki, since she wrote the lyrics. And Dice is just quintessential, hard rock Band-Maid at its finest. Thx, PoH!
Nice reaction and on that day the temperature at the time they played was between 95F and 100F. In a later interview they said that was the hottest show they've ever played.
I wish I'd taken a video of the solo section from where I was standing, so someone could edit this to show the right maid. But holy hell did they kick ass!! And thanks for the comments about the language barrier. So many folks don't give bands a chance because of that, but it just doesn't need to be a problem in my view.
The rhythm section is what drew me to Band-Maid too. There are lots of solo guitarists and great singers who lack the power and weight a really good bass and drums section gives a rock band. And, this is _not_ the only MISA / Kanami bass and guitar call and response in their history - they had another one earlier in the set. They played the Lollapalooza Aftershows the night before after flying from Japan, so I can only imagine how messed up their circadian clock was, but it didn't seem to make much difference. Music (and mathematics) is the universal language!
What I especially liked was they did not lose track of the song during the exchanges. Too often extended sections and solos wander off into left field and become disconnected from the song.
Camera work sucks and the sound could be better but it doesn't detract from the performance at all. This is great fun and although I've watched it about a hundred times I never get tired of it
Since you are interested in Japanese bands, I love Band Maid. Also One Ok Rock is spectacular. The most innovative Japanese band is Wagakki, with a huge range in their work. Hanabe is fun. Incidentally, I've seen this video a number of times and it always pains me to hear Misa do a 30 second bass solo and the guy holding the camera never once aims it at her. He did the same thing with the guitar. It makes no sense.
HORRIBLE camera work but it's hard to blame them too much because this is a festival with a director probably had no idea who they were and certainly no idea there would be a bass and guitar battle. Amazing performance though.
And they had already done a guitar/bass call and response earlier in the set. Who would have expected another? I wonder how many bands were new to this director and how many he had to work on?
Well it seems more like the director had never heard rock music before. I love Akane and Saiki but why two back and forths into the duel, why are we still going back to watching Saiki sitting?
BAND-MAID don't have guitar battles or duels, they have "Conversations".😌
💯% correct according to the Truthometers
@@curtisrrobles7885 And you know you told me they have "Conversations" 4yrs ago now.😯
@@GaryHolloway-810 I did??? You were the only one that remembered, lol
Po!
Indubitably, my good man. Conversations... with whisky, beer, strawberry milk, tea, and chocolate. 🧐
Hate Live at Yokohama should be the next official release
Where is that video? Has it been released yet?

I agree with you Band Maid always has fun during their performances, thats why for me Band Maid is the best rock band in the world right now!!!

Just look at the drumming from 3:01 onwards. Can't believe she's that busy throughout the whole show. Amazing drummer.
And she changed a stick in between!

Someone said it was so hot, MISA had to put on shoes!
If I had not met BAND-MAID, I would have continued to lose interest in music.
MISA!!! MISA!!! MISA!!! 🥃🥃🥃 🤙🏽 Battles are between adversaries. MISA and Kanami are having one of many "conversations " through their music
Thank you for reacting to the music and performance, not to the soundquality and production like some reactors do.

MISA !!! MISA !!! MISA !!! the Barefoot Bass Assassin and Akane Hirose the Gorilla , Dynamic Duo .

Japanese girls are saving Rock and Roll PO!

A camera man probably had his camera on MISA the whole time.
Whoever the director in the control room was chose which cameras to display.
