Coming up on three years completely clean, and just over a year and a half as a missionary in the ARP. If you are able, I recommend serving as a missionary; there are people who need your insight in their recovery, and there are incredible blessings for the missionary who serves.
Hey, how'd it go? How are you doing now? Is it getting better? I've struggled with the same thing and talking about it with people has helped a lot for me
I understand that statement “I was mad at him, I wanted him to take it away. I didn’t want to do any work.” I really connected to this video thank you so much.
True it happens to all of us. We need to constantly remind ourselves our life's path depends upon us. I love how God makes us feel his presence and that its up to us to react to that. Let's all be strong :)
Same, It's hard to remember sometimes that it's important we work our way out of it, we will be so much stronger when we do. Reccomend reading Hebrews 12!
Even though this is a hard subject we MUST continue to acknowledge that it happens and that there's a way to overcome it. Jesus is still there with us in our darkest moments. Even with our faces and bellies in the dirt Jesus is still standing beside us. Lift your weary eyes and see him waiting for you. I've seen great Saints fall thinking they were immune. Satan looks for our weaknesses to get a foothold and take advantage of us. Once he gets you to sin he tells you that you are too far gone and that it's too late. He wants you to forget the Atonement and of The Plan of Salvation. He wants you to believe that you can't repent. He wants you to believe that you are not strong enough. I am here to tell you that with God we can overcome anything. He is almighty and all powerful. He can change your heart and help you cleanse your soul. Never fall for the lie. Even if you wake up one day and lift your spiritual eyes up and despair seeing how far off the path you have wandered. The light of Christ is still shining toward you. Walk towards it and don't give up!
I remembered falling into the habit of pornography after I went 2 years without it... worst feeling ever.. and now I feel reassured. I related a lot this vid 🙏🏽 less lonely. Thank you God for helping me find this video and to learn in this trial.
There is ALWAYS hope!! If you are still alive and breathing and reading these words, IT IS NOT TOO LATE! You CAN get help! There is no depth of sin so dark, so unreachable, that the atoning Blood of Christ our Savior can't reach you. There is a way back. There is a way to conquer this trap!
No one is beyond saving, as long they seek the atonement of Christ. It is not enough to declare Christ but you must actively seek to be humble and find the things that makes life better. There is hope in the trials of this life as we seek to know and do the will of Christ. As stated in Mosiah: For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father.
That’s how it can work. Then there are those who won’t seek help, claim they’re in good shape with the Lord then continue to do harmful things. Just as with pharmaceutical addictions, porn use gives one a tolerance and the only way to continue to be satisfied is to look for something worse until the very depravity they’ve sunk to robs robs them of everything they ought to have cherished. That’s how bad it got in my family and I was done fighting a 40-year addiction. I feel contaminated for ever having been with him.
Hi, I’m currently a 33 year old Latter Day Saint man. I’m documenting through a video log my experience of quitting pornography. I appreciate the Lords teachings of chastity and his willingness to walk with us away from pornography and other addictions. I’m currently on a 10 day streak. God bless everyone struggling with addiction.
Watching this video 2years after gives me goosebumps. Truth be told I was broke and used pornography and masturbation as a means of getting away. The moment I got busy and had something doing my priorities changed. 2 years ago when I first came across this video, I was on the verge of being homeless, broke and dealing with insecurities. I could barely stay outside my room for long. Thank God for change and the man I am today. I own multiple houses, debt free and I live my best life without letting my insecurities control me.
I use to hear from the TV station, give your life to Christ and he will save you from your addiction. I thought it was untrue. After more than 25yrs of porn addiction I finally confessed my sins and cried for our lord Jesus to save me from this addiction. The break through came on the third day of fasting and prayers. I was saved. Praise be to the almighty son of God..no sex no porn no girlfriend for more than a year. The lord scattered the demonic spirit that was causing this addiction. Father in heaven May your son Jesus Christ of Nazareth have mercy upon us.
Though your sins be red like crimson, they shall be white as snow. Though they be as scarlet red, they shall be white like whool. Not sure if that's the correct wording, but it's a perfect verse for this.
Recovery is possible for you. If you are still breathing, then it is not too late. The best weapon you can wield against the army of Satan is TRUTH and HONESTY. With yourself, with your significant other, with your family, and with the Lord. The Adversary thrives on secrecy. Take that away from him and you'll see how quickly he crumbles.
It's okay, there is a way to get out of it. There is an atonement and we can be forgiven. It will be hard it will be very hard, I think part of it is we don't want to get out of it, then there is another thought in our minds that we have to stop. I promise once you tell someone, family, friend, bishop, etc. and get over it you will feel so much better.
Hi there, thanks for sharing your comment and experience. Many of us find ourselves stuck and unexplainably returning to mistakes or temptations again and again. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we can heal and change, but it requires honesty, a change of heart and help from the Holy Ghost. Never forget that you are loved by our Savior Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven- they will help you and be with you! The following article may provide some helpful information and encouragement for you: www.churchofjesuschrist.org/addressing-pornography/why-does-this-keep-happening?lang=eng.
As someone who was addicted to porn and who has stayed porn free for almost 6 years I can tell you that it’s possible. Apart from faith, please understand the process of reward (dopamine) that is activated when you use porn. Understand that what you’re doing is normal when you understand the brain. Try running as well as cutting it off. I went cold turkey and the first 2 weeks were tough but after that I felt free. If you have any questions please ask in comments. God bless and good luck, you can do this!!
My husband and I served as missionaries for the addiction recovery program for pornography. It’s an amazing program for those that struggle and it works. We saw miracles and sent out missionaries.
There is only addiction when you apply that word unto yourself then you kept entertaining evil deeds...now, the only thing you can do to avoid it and any sins is to hate to do sins, forsake it tboroughly...don't make things complicated, it is only in your mind. Set your mind to do good everyday...like reading scriptures, house chores, helping others praying, make friends to your neighborhood, share what you have read in the scriptures to your family and friends; there is alot things to do...family history and indexing. Honestly, i've been there before but i must overcome it and i did. So, u must act immediately ask for repentance and forgivess unto God then sin no more...got it! No drama my friend; two choices hell or heaven which one do you like? Do not procrastinate the day of your repentance, do it now!
Thank you for being brave and sharing your journey with us. Addictions are trials we all deal with. The body and mind are things we all need God's help with we can't do it alone ❤️
Who ever reads this, God loves you and I hope he frees anyone who is struggling with pornography. Friend, Jesus loves you. I have a habit to beat myself up (not literally) when I look at images that I shouldn’t. The reason why I say that is cause the feeling is very sad and it makes me very upset. I don’t want you guys to be upset or mad at yourself for sinning. We were all born into sin. If you sin, its normal to feel a bit of sadness cause sin is not good. We certainly shouldn’t feel proud of ourselves. I too get discouraged and upset when I sin, but I pray and ask God to pick me up from the ashes and dust, Brush my shoulders off with all that gunk, and try again and again and again. When you do sin, don’t think “IM A FAILURE! WHY DO I KEEP DOING THIS?! IM NEVER GONNA BE FREE OF THIS SIN!!” My brothers, my sisters, that is a big fat lie from the enemy. Jesus can and WILL save you from your deepest and darkest struggles! We are all in this together and we all struggle with sexual sin. Know that the Lord Jesus Christ DIED for your sins. His blood was shed for us sinners when it should have been us on that cross. He took all our shame, all our sins, ALL OUR TRANSGRESSION onto himself. Jesus will free you. Matthew 26:41 “The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” I care for whoever reads this. I love you, and so does God. We must constantly pray so God can protect our minds from the attacks of the enemy. Jesus thinks of you as many grains of sand there is in the beach, and as many strands of hair that is in your hair! (Idk if I said that right 🤣😂😅) God bless who ever reads this. A thousand hugs 🫂 🤗
I still struggle at times with my addiction to porn, but Father has been there with me & for me. Through the Atonement I know that I can be set free of this addiction.
The worst thing about pornography is that it is loveless. . Love is not in any aspect present. It kills love. God is Love. Draw close to God and it's power will diminish.
Robert, never thought of it that way. I have a close person struggling and I am still confused to this day about a comment they made when asked if they loved their spouse. “ What is love” was their reply. I never want to be in a place where I don’t know what love is and I pray for this person and others struggling that they will know what love is.
@ebrahim M-512 Don't beat yourself up my friend. Beating an addiction is like climbing a high and dangerous mountain. You win and you lose , but you keep climbing. . The summit awaits.
@ebrahim M-512 You can do this program as well : addictionrecovery.churchofjesuschrist.org/?lang=eng You are loved and there is hope, make sure you find someone to fight this battle with you!

Thank you so much ma for this video. It confirms so much to me. I pray that God grants you the grace to live above this sin and that HE will give us the grace to read and study our Bibles in Jesus name, Amen. 😊😊
You can stop any addiction by doing mindfulness Buddhists meditation. it is our mind that do all our physical actions whether it is good or bad but once mind is trained to stop outer forces that grasp by five senses eye, nose, tongue, ear and skin .we can't change the outside world but we can stop outside things harm our mind. What we think we become !
Anime, lemme tell you something: There's no reason to be afraid. Your parents are not going to be ashamed of you at all. They're going to say "oh no! How can we help?" Then they'll be your biggest allies. It took a long time for me to tell my parents, but I know if I never did I wouldn't be as clean as I am now. I only would have gotten worse. Stay strong. You really aren't alone. Almost everyone on the planet has struggled with pornography at one point in their life. Your parents will be so proud of you for coming to them first. It's difficult, yes. But you will overcome this. Stay strong, anime.
4 weeks clean. It seems like very little. But I want to keep going. Sadly, the memories and images stay in your mind, but, pray and God can help. Don't fear the world, because God is god, and he can get you out of anything.
What happens if you watch it on your own but never act on it. I always feel horrible and embarrassed/ashamed straight after putting it on 💔😓 please pray that I find the strength to overcome this deadly sin

Please don't think that because you don't act on it that it isn't hurting you and others! For years I justified my addiction by thinking I'm only hurting myself. Over the past 8-10 months what was "just looking" now and then spiraled out of control. It has literally torn my family apart. And when you have children that you love with all your heart, and they feel life is better without you in it, then you can begin to understand true pain, misery and suffering. Please get the help you desire at this stage, and don't allow the justification to continue. Pornography has changed me in so many ways, and I am just beginning to recognize how my actions (again while I was "only hurting myself") affected how I acted as a person, and how I treated those around me. I wish I would have gotten the help I needed decades ago. Please know that God's grace us sufficient for ALL. As you humble yourself (which I hope you have already done) and turn toward the Savior, he will receive you with open arms.
As much as I want to like the video because I know it is a good message and all, I feel like this is very unrelatable. It feels too entrenched to people brought up in the church, I think to truly tackle this you have to tackle it with a broad brush and really attack when this starts is with teenagers and young adults who don't know how to handle the loneliness that they might have with the Temptations that are offered. This is where truly begins.
Thanks for your comment. You may be interested in reviewing the resources for parents and leaders at addressingpornography.churchofjesushchrist.org. It provides helpful information for talking with children and youth about this topic with love and understanding.
Brought up in the church or not Satan will find the chips in our armour and take advantage of our weaknesses. No matter how small, he weasels in like a worm to poison our minds and souls. Those people who have exceptional missions to accomplish are at the mercy of much evil trying to take them down. Never think you are immune. I know people who grew up in the church and they have just as many temptations as everyone else. I've seen people who grew up in the church fall away. This is a reality and it happens.
Yes, fighting pornography should start with our youth because it begins with them. But that wasn't the point of this video. The point of this video was to give hope to the adults who didn't tackle it as a youth and now have terrible consequences because of it. And it also could be a help to the youth because most of them don't think they are addicted, and they can relate to this story as an example of what can happen if pornography viewing goes unchecked. I thought this was an excellent video that gave me, the wife of an addict, hope. Too many of these stories end in divorce but that isn't the end of my story and I'm happy to see it wasn't the end to others.
I am a member of the church since 2004. I stopped looking at porn a year before I was baptized. I married a woman in the church in 2007 and the marriage didn't go very well and we had troubles. So we separated and in the last weeks of our relationship I started watching porn again, which I hadn't for years. I realized, that I can't stop it like I did before. I became an inactive member of the church, which I am still. I tried to stop the addiction for 8 years now. It just doesn't work. It is so humiliating...I would've never thought that this would happen. Didn't even search the porn back then. It was more like it searched for me and when I stumbled over it, it had me back in his grip, more than ever before. I pray and I fasted and I tried it many times to end it, but it is true terror. The desire to watch this crap grows with every day, when I manage to don't watch it for a week. It seems invincible. I was a good member of the church for some years, being very active. Now I do not have the wish to go there, feeling ashamed. I have been there some times, but it's like being the black sheep...not a nice feeling. I feel like giving up on trying, because it just won't work.
Hello, and thanks for sharing your story. We're sorry for the pain and hopelessness you feel. As Elder Holland has taught, "...however many mistakes you feel you have made... or distance from home and family and God you feel you have traveled, I testify you have not traveled beyond the reach of divine love. It is not possible for you to sink lower than the infinite light of Christ's Atonement shines." (See this video for the full quote from Elder Holland: www.churchofjesuschrist.org/youth/video/it-is-never-too-late?lang=eng) Remember that none of us are perfect, we all fall short and need the grace of Jesus Christ. You are wanted and needed at Church, and there are people there who will help you. Our Heavenly Father loves you and will forgive you as many times as you choose to believe and repent. Continue to reach out to our Heavenly Father in prayer, and seek help from a trusted friend or leader. Take care and keep trying! Can you guys do a video about homosexuality and why it is not the way, and all that please. Im not struggling with it but I have friends who are, and I worry about that. So ya.
They have done many videos with testimonies from people with same sex attraction/attracted to both sex, you'll find many. However, even if the actual Lord's commandements on the subject are clearly stated, those videos, as this one talk about the challenge from a personal point of view, therefore helping others better understand and thus better support. If you have friends dealing with this issue maybe you could start listening to them and what all of this means to them. You can do that and still cherish the commandements of the Lord and express, when appropriate, your belief that obedience to them and faith in the redemptive power of Jesus Christ and in His Name are the way to happiness. When you listen as a friend you can support them with the Witness that, in their specific, and often very challenging situation, there is always One who perfectly understands and is allpowerful to help and save.
Hi there- thanks for your comment. You may be interested in watching some of the videos at mormonandgay.churchofjesuschrist.org. It features many stories and articles about same-sex attraction. God loves all His children and wants them to return to Him. We hope this helps!
Bless you I'm a pray for you all the time for you or not the only 1 dealing With a diction I am addicted to alcohol and pain pills please pray for me thank you so much now bless you love you O Au family
The first step to any recovery is recognizing it and admitting that you need help and want to change. The second should be to turn to God for help. I've struggled with many things including getting off of dozens of prescription drugs the doctors freely gave me. I thought that my doctors had my best interest in mind so I never thought I could be addicted to the meds. The biggest thing I have learned coming out of addiction is that God can truly change us if we let him. I realized that the only way I could do it was with Him beside me. He gave me strength, changing my heart step by step, giving me courage and the knowledge that if I truly turn my heart to God in this process he could lift me out of the depths of despair. Hold on brother. Every time you feel weak pray, read Scriptures and be honest and ask for help. Just don't give up. No matter how far you are from where you want to be, you can still find your way back! Don't let Satan fool you into thinking it's a lost cause or that you won't be able to overcome it. It's a lie because he knows that if you work on it long enough you will succeed in overcoming this. 👍
I've seen so many women in absolute pain caused by their husbands addictions to porn. It's the saddest thing ever. Sometimes it makes me never want to get married. So many men do this it's like who is there to trust, it's ridiculous.
I'm the wife of a pornography addict. And it is devastating. I knew about it before we got married, but I didn't know the depth of it. I didn't realize what a problem it was, and how difficult it would be to overcome. 8 years in and our marriage is stronger than ever, despite this ongoing addiction. I never imagined we would still be dealing with this 8 years in. But it is something that we have been able to face together, and it really has brought us closer together because we fight it together. I wouldn't wish this struggle on anyone, but I've also been blessed with so much love and strength from the lord to help me that I now know it isn't the end of the world. Don't hesitate to get married because you are scared your husband might look at something. A pornography addiction doesn't make someone a bad person. But do counsel with the lord about whomever you are wanting to marry. He will never lead you astray.
Thanks for sharing your experience, @Business Dulevv. We know Heavenly Father hears our prayers and can help us overcome trial and temptation. Keep it up! For others looking for help to quit using pornography, see www.churchofjesuschrist.org/addressing-pornography/individuals?lang=eng
I do appreciate that the Church offers its own resources for pornography addiction. However, addiction under its most accurate definition is a disease of the brain, and for those who are true addicts, they must use resources available outside of the Church if they wish to manage the addiction. They will never be free of it though - that’s a lie that perpetuates the cycle of frustration and discouragement accompanying the truly addicted.
If you're being facetious, no. If you're being serious, yes. Addictions are not "what" we're addicted to, they're "why". Working as a missionary in the ARP, I've been amazed to discover that all addiction is essentially the same problem; we have a hole in our heart we're trying to fill. We will use whatever we can to fill it. Food works for some, drugs work for some, alcohol, porn, etc. When we finally do the the Atonement fill it, (which is why I believe we have it in the first place) it stays filled and the addiction subsides and is swallowed up, as it were, in the Atonement. Soooo, if you're being serious, yes, you can overcome.
Seeking Bishops help is divine help from Heavenly Father. This addiction chases the Holy Spirit away for a long time. There is hope to change. We are not perfect, but because of Jesus Christ Atonement, we can all repent and have that second chance and strive to be like Him. Thank you for this video💯
printed or visual material containing the explicit description or display of sexual organs or activity, intended to stimulate erotic rather than aesthetic or emotional feelings. It usually starts as curiosity, then can quickly turn to addiction. My husband struggles......it's tough
From what I understand, any form of image, video, film or media used for sexual arousal. It can come in all shapes and sizes. The variety is large and growing. It's dark, evil, corruptible and corrosive to the soul. Stay away from it at all costs.
Nope. Young, old, single, married. This addiction knows no bounds. The Addiction Recovery Program is for anyone suffering with addiction. ARP is worldwide. I attend every Sunday because....yes, I am an addict. But I am a son of God and I am in recovery .
Thanks for your question! The Addiction Recovery Program is for everyone- individuals, spouses and families. You can learn more here: addictionrecovery.churchofjesuschrist.org/?lang=eng
In fact, if it's specifically for pornography, men and women attend separate meetings. General addiction (anything but porn/sex-related) meetings are open to all.
Hi Norma, thanks for your question. No one is perfect; we all fall short. Our Heavenly Father loves us, and He will forgive us as many times as we choose to repent and turn to Him. You or others interested can learn more about forgiveness here: www.comeuntochrist.org/beliefs/forgiveness/being-forgiven If you're looking for help to quit viewing pornography, visit www.churchofjesuschrist.org/addressing-pornography/collection-want-to-quit?lang=eng. The 12-Step Solution is horrible. It requires you to believe in god. Sure, it may work for some time, but if you ever stop believing, there’s a chance you’ll return to addiction.
I supposed to have interview with my bishop but due to COVID, it always postponed. He said we'll have interview in February instead. He's very busy at his work. I understand him. I don't want to be burden nor add his to think about. So I just sit here and I feel I am alone battling. I don't know what to do. I came out to his 1 councilor but he ignores me now. Lol my thoughts are somehow real that I am not worthy and that members don't want me see in the church.
Hi Jon, thanks for your comment. Remember you are worthy of love and belonging, no matter what you do or where you have been. We're never beyond the help of Jesus Christ and His Atonement. You can do this!
Jon, tell your bishop you need help. I'm sure he is busy, but he wants to help you, and God wants you to seek help. As members of the Church of Jesus Christ we are called to bear each others burdens; don't deny your bishop the opportunity to serve you. Talk to him as soon as possible.
@@00Fisher00 In addition I would add seek out an opportunity to attend the ARP meetings (whether live or online) depending on your location. At least then you are taking steps in the right direction until your bishop has a chance to give you counsel.
The church fails tremendously at understanding pornography vs sex addiction. There are so many people who are labeled pornography addict who are not. There is not a diagnosis for pornography addiction on dsm-v so there’s no criteria whatsoever to follow. Are you a porn addict if you look at it once in a while? So many in the church say yes. “Pornography” addiction is never truly about pornography... it’s about completely different mental health issues. Stop focusing on the porn and focus on healthy sexuality and coping mechanisms.
All i get from here is that pornography is not the problem but people that cannot control their impulses. Sex is the addiction as cocaine is the kick for some people that's basically what i get from this. I know what the church is trying to pass on but this video kind of sucks in passing the message. Pornography is the "trigger" as intensity and ecstasy is for the crackhead. Yeah it is a problem but also it's not like "the boogie man" that it's being painted as. Obviously keep your kids and family away from it but i think the church needs to make a better video that is not like "pornography ruined my life". No, mr. Clean, it did not but you did. Once more, only one is the master of they're actions and you know yeah he weny and got help. Either way I'm just ranting now but point is the video sucked in order to pass the message and i think it needs to be discarded and just start a new one. Just grab some random Joe off the life train, that's where the real message comes from. We got the funds, i know because of obviously biweekly reasons. With all that said, if any volunteers, i could do it. Am i going to do better, I don't know, I am not God. One thing for sure I will strive for perfection. The quality will most likely suck but hey I'm just some blue collar veteran that's working hard to keep my family going. I testify that the church is true and our prophet is truly guided by our heavenly Father. I'm thankful for the restoration of the gospel and priesthood. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Pretty amazing that you paint a picture through your lens, but never mention that you struggle with ANYTHING. For those of us walking a very difficult path back to our Savior, I find it completely offensive that you speak as though all should be LIKE you. Be grateful that you have never struggled, but understand the problem is REAL, there are people who lose hope. I have a very strong testimony of the Atonement, but when I finally got caught and am trying to get my life right I felt like the Atonement was for everyone BUT me! You don't know any of us struggling, and I am CERTAIN you don't know the brave young man who is willing to tell his story across the world to HELP other people! Many of us are dealing with shame and feel totally alone in this issue. Saying there should be a video that simply states "stay away from porn" is ignorance at its worst. You go along leading your "perfect" life, but take a page from the Savior you testify of and understand that the Atonement is for ALL men. And it helps us fix the problems created when we use our agency. For years we have cheered folks when they say they are X number of years sober from liquor, drugs or cigarettes. But then we have "know-it-alls" like you who lake the compassion our Savior displayed every day of his life. My suggestion to you is if you think you can prepare a BETTER message for those suffering, or to prevent the problem, go for it. As for me and mine we will serve (and listen to) the Lord. If you believe the Lord isn't behind this message, you must humble yourself!
Just passed three years clean. The church’s ARP meetings are absolutely amazing. The spirit is so very strong there.
Coming up on three years completely clean, and just over a year and a half as a missionary in the ARP. If you are able, I recommend serving as a missionary; there are people who need your insight in their recovery, and there are incredible blessings for the missionary who serves.
3 an a half years here. A different life that's for sure.
Clean from porn or cheating ?
i hope this is a joke😭😭
I’m about to go see my bishop tonight and discuss my problem with this issue. Plz bless me that it’ll all be okay in the end
Amen
True it happens to all of us. We need to constantly remind ourselves our life's path depends upon us. I love how God makes us feel his presence and that its up to us to react to that. Let's all be strong :)
That line also hit me right in the feels hope you are doing good.
That was a powerful line.
Same, It's hard to remember sometimes that it's important we work our way out of it, we will be so much stronger when we do. Reccomend reading Hebrews 12!
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. -Philippians 4:13
Thanks for sharing your testimony and encouragement!
Thank you so much for that
Thank you for this beautiful message. May God and the Son be with you always. Amen 💖
The Lord helped me overcome my addiction. We are not alone in our trials.
Thanks for sharing your experience and testimony, Monique! We're glad you're here.
I remembered falling into the habit of pornography after I went 2 years without it... worst feeling ever.. and now I feel reassured. I related a lot this vid 🙏🏽 less lonely. Thank you God for helping me find this video and to learn in this trial.
I can relate I went without for about 2 years and when I relapsed it was like the world came crashing down on me. I hope you are doing good
There is ALWAYS hope!! If you are still alive and breathing and reading these words, IT IS NOT TOO LATE! You CAN get help! There is no depth of sin so dark, so unreachable, that the atoning Blood of Christ our Savior can't reach you.
There is a way back. There is a way to conquer this trap!
This right here! Well said, brother.
No one is beyond saving, as long they seek the atonement of Christ. It is not enough to declare Christ but you must actively seek to be humble and find the things that makes life better. There is hope in the trials of this life as we seek to know and do the will of Christ.
As stated in Mosiah:
For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father.
Dameon Andrews I think your right
Thanks for the courage to share this. Addictions to pornography is really taking over us..Thank you
Hi, I’m currently a 33 year old Latter Day Saint man.
This happened to me before but I’m happy that my mother and Heavenly Father help me to repent.
How were you able to tell your parents? Were you scared?
Praise God. I needed this.
Ive lost my addiction porn before repent my sin 3 weeks ago. Be thank for God is with us.
I'm struggling with addiction as well.
You can do it! 👍
You've got this! God loves you and wants you to be happy. Just keep fighting.
Harald Emerson it is about time you stop dodging the dragon, and finally slay it.
I tried to fight this addiction for like 2 years but i cant stop it, now im really trying hard since im almost in high school. Wish me good luck.
Praise be to the Lord who Heals what we can't
Thank you so much! I’ve seen firsthand how this takes people over. You are a hero.

(Idk if I said that right 🤣😂😅)
God bless who ever reads this. A thousand hugs 🫂 🤗
My fiance suffers from a pornography addiction.... it's so hard. I know we'll get through it with Love from God and council with our Bishop.
I hope you both are doing well. God bless you
I still struggle at times with my addiction to porn, but Father has been there with me & for me.

I am too scared to tell my parents about my addiction. What should I do?
Anime, lemme tell you something:
There's no reason to be afraid. Your parents are not going to be ashamed of you at all. They're going to say "oh no! How can we help?"
Then they'll be your biggest allies.

As you humble yourself (which I hope you have already done) and turn toward the Savior, he will receive you with open arms.
yupp u cant do it on your own u will drive yourself crazy u have to just learn to yield to the lord and say thank you for delivering me father

@@maximovergara5151 Are you still in need of help and support in overcoming this challenge?
Thank you.
@@churchofjesuschrist Thank you, very kind answer.

This is what I needed thx

I know is crazy, but.. since i am praying to GOD to help me with porn Addiction I doing great!

I guess this wouldn't help me with my addiction to chocolate
Chocolate is amazing! Lol I like chocolate alot also!
Soooo, if you're being serious, yes, you can overcome.

what does pornography mean?
printed or visual material containing the explicit description or display of sexual organs or activity, intended to stimulate erotic rather than aesthetic or emotional feelings.
Ask your parents and church leaders or do research on churchofjesuschrist.org
It means its when men or women did a very bad thing in camera post it on online.
If you can’t view it in front of your mother it is porn

The church fails tremendously at understanding pornography vs sex addiction. There are so many people who are labeled pornography addict who are not. There is not a diagnosis for pornography addiction on dsm-v so there’s no criteria whatsoever to follow. Are you a porn addict if you look at it once in a while? So many in the church say yes. “Pornography” addiction is never truly about pornography... it’s about completely different mental health issues. Stop focusing on the porn and focus on healthy sexuality and coping mechanisms.
Y’all are weird
