Perfect Winter Steelhead Spinner recipe:
3/8 oz torpedo body painted
4mm heavy beads
.035" stainless wire
1/0 VMC short shank siwash hook
#6 polished brass french blade
large clevis
A bit of perfection!
A bit of luck too!
Other suppliers to try: barlows tackle, janns netcraft
Thank you.
Where do you buy the spinner body?
Cheers
I buy them from a guy on ebay. They are custom ordered and painted per request.
@@righteousriverfishinginoregon7 whats the seller name? Looking to build some of these
@@danb3703 sorry, I won't be able to find that for you
Where do you buy your brass and nickel beads?
Amazon.com
Where do you get your bodies I'm looking for bulk bodies.
Yeah, they are impossible to find at a good price. I found an ebay seller and contacted them directly and place a custom order. Good luck!
I sent you that link, for some heavier blades, bodies, etc.
I cannot find the link you sent. Can you resend?
try First Strike Lures, for whatever reason YT won't let me put in the link. Another one to try is R&B Lures.
@Earl Larson I prefer R&B over first strike because they give a military discount. Thanks for the info.
@@righteousriverfishinginoregon7 Ah, go with the one that works best for you. I tend to buy more of the FSL blades, as they are local to Oregon, and they are heavier gauge, so they provide a more consistent spin and thump - at least for the spinners I have made with them. I have used all of the ones I commented on, with good success. Another reason I like FSL, shipping is typically lower, too. ;-)
