Thank you very for this video. I've wanted to start making these after my salmon fishing box.
My question is have you ever used shrink tubing on these? And also in the stores I've seen some that have 2 bead stuffed into it. Should I do that?

I use a hard plastic tubing, similar to shrink tube, what are your thoughts using this type of tubing?

I just asked about shrink tubing.

I started learning on 6” of wire and hated wasting the wire so I quickly started using a 5”. Seems to work best for me. Some do 4” but you must be more precise. I like the wiggle room for minor mistakes.

Yes I find that 5” is a good length to work with. 6” you’ll have to much wasted material and 4” doesn’t give you enough room for the last end twist.

I saw you used Pucci beads. but it appeared you used a kit with numerous beads but I couldnt make out the brand.

Size 6. A collection of beads from companies. Oregon Tackle, Pucci, Fish Fields, paulsens. Whatever I can find .

Due to my location, I'm getting my beads at Sportsman's Warehouse. Ive even found a good percentage of mine at Walmart in the arts & craft section. As I get better, I'm going to look up better priced beads.

too many missed and lost fish with trebles. Double singles are the ticket

How do you set up your duel singles?

Google double snell....I have 10 acres on a good kokanee lake in British Columbia in Canada.....when I changed to double snell from trebles on my trolling lures my landing rate improved dramatically
