I never get tired of watching these step by steps. Thank you so much for continuing to teach beginners. Please explore tail outs more. I still have yet to get a steelhead.
Thank you jordan and the addicted Family Every single one of you. You have your part and you play It well. Thanks for sharing your trip, Tricks, And techniques A lot of fishermen try to hide their secrets. a wise man once told me 1% of the fisherman catch ninety nine percent of the fish
Fun to hang out and watch this video. I have been doing the leaders with two union knots for many years the wildlife officers would say then never seen that, very good trick.
Awesome video as always. Spinner fishing for chrome is getting more popular near me. Would love to see a video Just breaking down the rod/reel/line choice for each common style of fishing for Salmon, Steelhead, and trout. Been cool on each video of the years to see how preferred set ups have changed. It be nice to see what your guys current set ups for each side by side are. Basically if I was going to buy a completely new outfit of rods and reels what would you get.
Thanks for the. Epic knowledge bombs on spinner fishing for steelhead,as always 💯 pure adrenaline rush when you set that hook and the fish goes warp speed
The only steelhead I have ever caught was when I was trout fishing with a rooster tail.. 6 pound test and a very small hook but after about a 4 minute fight I had a 12 pound buck to hand..
I don't fish for trout, but i fo fish rivers. I got some good hints from this. If I want s bigger presentation that goes a little deeper, i use s double spinner. I cut the hook off a !/4 oz. panther martin, add split ring snd put a number 2 blue fox to the ring. Both blades freely spin and it works.
Awesome Vid. So I got my first Okuma Celilo pole 9’6” length. It’s a 6-12 pound. I always used ugly stick but I seen this on sale at China mart. For $50. Needles a reel now . But I will be testing it out
I have seen you most of the time not using swivels but instead cutting the lures from the carbon line. Does a swivel disturb too much of the right presentation or any particular reason why you work this way?
What I do when I have put my line on is to tie the line around a tree with a swivel and then go away from the tree with a little tension then reel myself back in. I usually do this right before I go fishing just to make sure the line is on the reel right and tangle free I don't know if this really does anything but I've been doing it for thirty-five years and never get any kinks. I do this with mono. I don't bother with braided line
Jordan, where can you find a left hand retrieve Helios. I’ve looked and can’t find em anywhere! I haven’t made the drive yet from the Tacoma area down to Bob’s but I’m tempted!
You guys need to help us out and include more details about the stuff you use. For example, what's the weight/size of these spinners? Can you include links? I mean you guys can get paid if people purchase through the links so i don't get why you don't include them. And if you really want to be helpful you should write a brief synopsis under the video including what size spinners, which colors to use for specific weather conditions, and links for your favorite spinners. Maybe even the exact line you use and rod/reel size with links as well. I would copy and paste all these notes and make a database out of them.
You left out a ton of information. Water temperature plays the biggest roles in what color and size of spinner to use. Black body spinners should be used for summer steelhead not winters. Winters need to be excited by the spinner with a lot of flash to entice a strike. There’s books out that have more in-depth info if anyone is really trying to understand spinner fishing. Just keep in mind a good spinner fisherman will lose 2-4 spinners a day if properly fishing the river. Making sure your spinner has the French style blade is very important too.

Nick and Dave need thier own channel!!! So does Max!!!

An awesome tutorial! Nice work again Jordan👍
Great video....Just getting back into salmon fishing. thanks for all the tips/tricks!
Cut the hooks off.. add O-ring. And upgrade the hook to a nice red or yellow/orange/pink able to twist more and easier on face..

Jordan, why don't you use a swivel? I have to with spinners or else I get line twists. Thanks
Spinners spin more true without a swivel.
@@xplicitfishin I realize that, but you get more line twisting without.
you guys should start doing more salt water from land. would love to learn from you guys in that department as a new person to fishing.

Great video! I love fishing spinners, what pliers were those?
Thanks Jordan for all the pro tips/tricks!! Curious, why don't you use a swivel when spinner fishing? Doesn't your line get twisted? THX
Every time I watch your guys videos. I got out put what iv learned to the test and just slam big fish
That's good to hear! Glad it's working for you!!
I always put a mono backing on before the braid cause it seems to slip around the spool sometimes
Jordan, where can you find a left hand retrieve Helios. I’ve looked and can’t find em anywhere! I haven’t made the drive yet from the Tacoma area down to Bob’s but I’m tempted!
Should you use swivels when using spinner
What’s your take on not using swivels? Thanks for the great videos.
Very informative, but how heavy a spinner do you use on average ?
Love it!
I was at work driving buy you guys while you where filming by the bridge in this video 🤫🤫
Are there any other brands other than Blue Fox for the second type of spinner that you were using?
Dope video.
Any tips for running kastmasters or spoons through the river ?
Whats ur fav color spinner thk
insane jumpage!
When putting line on a spinning reel …how to avoid line twist. If spinning reel goes clockwise do you have line spool come off counterclockwise?
I like the looks of those hooks but don't know that I've seen them in the store.
Yeah Jordan
What size or weight spinner for this setup
How heavy were those spinners you were using? - Thxs
Great instructional video but do you ever catch any fish
