cant wait
The survey is a little broken, it's not letting me select more than one of the same option in the radio buttons
I hate how kids call games with a year when it is not a effing sports game. EA would never call the game need for speed 2024.
Test drive a new IP lol hahahhaha wow!
5:08 to 5:15 The series came out well before you were born in 1987
This is EA we’re talking about still…
@BlackPanthaa You're gonna love my response regarding Police officers using seized Lamborghinis as elite police units. Like the one time when Stage 9-10 of The Run that allowed officers drive Lamborghini Gallardo interceptor units. :D
I will say this every time, NFS2015 had the best formula but perhaps not the best execution. The story was a bit boring but way better than everything else that came out after that, it truly felt like a true street racing game. OfCourse, it needed improvements but that's what updates are for. Building upon that story with real legends in the car community and improving physics and adding more content would've made it the best arcade racer to date.
This ^
Straight facts
And i loved speedlists at Payback. After every Race vote for the Next. The Last gehts More votes than the First, so the People in behind can Vize for the Race where they think they do better.
1000%
Closet to underground 2
An NFS set in Japan would completely revitalize the series.
Imagine drifting through the mountains while cherry blossom petals float through the air.
It seems like they have actively avoided Japan for some reason.
@@xblfanatic360 Because we would love it as fans TOO much! It’s very likely their Hail Mary game that they’ll throw at us when the series is completely dying.
CoD will do it do, somewhere on a hard drive at Activision there’s Black Ops 2 Remastered, waiting to be released lol
@@xblfanatic360Japan has more strict rules. If they see nfs taking place in Japan they would probably ban the game for influencing youth to illegal street racing or some sh*t. And nfs would lose costumers in Japan. It's pretty big no. Exact same thing why Toyota is not in nfs
Would be so nice but sadly drifting in NFS is unnatural dogshit
@@vyrkolach5546And yet Initial D and Tokyo Xtreme Racer exists, so your logic fails. If they ban the game for influencing youth to illegal street racing then they would have ban all street racing games.
I really miss a storyline like in MW2005. It was really good and it gave you a really good reason playing the story. A nfs like that but just with some improvements would be unbelievably good
Totally agree have the bounty thing be a big part of progression I know it might be annoying but that's how go make the cops a big part of NFS
Too bad it’s outdated game structure for EA. They want to force us to play online so having blacklist and actual single player worthy mode is no no for them
they definitely need to finally add back multiple save files, I always liked to play through the story multiple times using different cars each playthrough
Best way to do that is to backup your current save as it's local, delete it, then the game will start a new one for you. Recently did it with Heat for kicks and it worked great. Only thing is if you wanna go back to your old safe you gotta back up new one and move old one into the folder. You can find it under %USERNAME%/Documents/Need For Speed (insert game title)/SaveGame/savegame
Cheers~
On PC you can if you backup your save file and create other ones, only downside is you'd have to copy/paste your files each time you want to swap "profiles", but with shortcuts it's a matter of seconds.
I just ran into this issue and hated that I couldn’t have multiple stories with multiple cars/characters
Or just have replayable missons
I’d be curious to see what a modernized ProStreet would look like 🤔
@@GH0STST4RSCR34MA remake on that does sound interesting.
I do hope it's got at least slightly realistic physics... From what I heard, ProStreet and Shift have realistic physics... I can't play regular Need For Speed anymore ever since I transitioned to Forza last year...
NFS Shift??
All we need is NFS carbon remastered and most wanted
Love that game, it's my most favourite after Underground 2
I want a game that combines nfs 2015 with nfs carbon’s features: canyons, pursuit breakers, crew races, territory and what not. Imagine what a game like this would look like.
But with Most Wanted/underground/ pro street/ even shift physics.
I would add paybacks map and story of payback, the run, undercover, most wanted and underground. Race tracks of hot pursuit. Visuals and customisation of heat,2015, underground and carbon. And cops and rival race gangs
@@karanvarma4843everything except the Payback thing.
A heat 2 would be nice. Also just add more cars. Dlc decals, dlc cars, a racing pass, unlockable cars and rewards like clothing, decals, tire smoke, underglow etc.
With aspects from most wanted 2012
@@davidbrown-bennett2346 yup. Just noticed i said undersmoke instead of glow 😂😂
With the current state of NFS what I think they have to do is use the remake strategy which has been proven to work wonders for other franchises, bring back some old beloved NFS games. Not talking from any nostalgic point, I mean objectively that will put them on the map again and no one is going to complain, also that will give them atleast a couple of years to get their ideas straight and consider the community feedback so they come up with something refreshing afterwards, being honest I have 0 expectations for the next NFS, I'm a big fan of the franchise but they need to do something worth being played
The issue is that a remake or a remaster requires licensing renewal and it's an extremely complex thing. Toyota, for example, has been extremely picky when it comes to allowing their cars to be featured in NFS. And there are more. MW is my absolute favorite Need For Speed game of all time and I'd love for it to get a remake or a remaster but I'm not sure if we're going to get lucky on that regard, unfortunately. I hope I'm wrong tho.
They don't need to use the remake strategy at all as doing that would be worse because sure they'll give you a "remake" that is gonna have nothing to do with what the original was about and people are just gonna whine about it not being good enough and then people will forget about it in like 2 months 😕
dude this fanbase will never ever stop crying. even if they come with a remake, the fans are just gonna about nostalgia bait and point out silly stuff you can see, the fanbase, coorporate all fking pathetic and shitty
I think it might be time for a Most Wanted remake.
That game literally landed everything. Race variety, cops, story, culture etc...
Or let Criterion finish their Most Wanted 2 betas/prototypes
I never understood why people praise MW's story? It's cringey, predictable and just cliche
It's actually already in progress can't wait till it's out
@hawken796 its a good story, when I was a kid i found it really cool. Maybe you say it I now but I bet when we were kids we did not. It was fun and it gave you a hunger of wining to razor no matter what.
@@KinggInsanity_77 Let me guess. Core X Most Wanted?
The best part of them keeping multiplayer and singleplayer split is that when the servers eventually go down the game isn't reliant on them so you can comeback to it when you want to, but there needs to be a progression share between the two, for example; if you unlock a car in one it unlocks in the other, etc.
Challenge series MUST come back to the game. Like takedown 5 cops but make it actually hard rather than making it very easy. NFSMW did it so well and fun and there were around +60 challenges to do
I think Atlanta, Huston, Georgia, Austin, Dallas, Philly, all of NY, maybe some of NJ, Myrtle Beach, Charlotte or Raleigh NC, Washington DC, etc… there’s so many amazing locations to have racing game take place.
Maybe they can even do more than one 🤷🏾♂️
Honestly they should just Do Atlanta nd add a countryside of Georgia
Houston would most definitely be cool but, Atl police cars look fuego
Europe could be an interesting change of scenery, the studio could create a unified map consisting of smaller areas inspired by the different countries, the tracks could be similar to the tracks we had in NFS: High Stakes and that would be a cool throw back.
Japan would be another great location and would've been a better game to use the anime art style on the characters and cars than unbound. Would also be a tremendous opportunity to incorporate the togue, drift, and sprint races in the mountains and the japanese highway system for street racing at night and implementing a pink slip racing mechanic or adding an outrun race type to diversify the race types and add risk/reward to the game in single player and online.
And random side note: I hope the next NFS game doesn't use a celebrity to help sell the game. Having ASAP Rocky in Unbound was cool and all but I can't help but feel that featuring him in the game was something that no one asked for. I think all NFS fans would agree they'd rather have more licensed cars and parts in NFS than having the ability to race ASAP Rocky and win his car
High Stakes is one of best NFS games in the history.
Nah America is good they just need to add alot of the maps together nd make it like a big map
@@Friedchicken2005nah they should change it up. it’s always usa
@@misrble that's why we have forza nd various other games
@@misrble tbh they should put all the EA nfs maps 2gether nd make one big ass map
Cars, customization, cops, maps, community, these elements for me are the most important for a good need for speed ) i think they should start by coming back to the essential, by thinking about what was good then in the need for speed liscence, then put it together. Moreover, they could make the community be part of the developpemet to avoid mistakes they made on the latest nfs games,
they knew they fumble the ball on Unbound
worst Nfs I ever played
@@JustinTheSpider i guess the idea on the paper wasn't that bad, but it doesn't look as good as 2015, same for the story😅
It's true the cops in unbound are so easy as i remember as a kid playing (MW 2005) collecting bounties and escaping from cops by the last blacklists would take hours of single run. Whereas, now if i have the S+ car i just have to go on a highway/freeway and just gap the police easy. Also yeah the game should have the modes together like the multiplayer and single player should be together because it just feels nice like you said, "There is no problem in linkups and races together once done with campaign missions".
I wanted a denser city like Underground 2 and Carbon, a large urban area with very different regions in atmospheres and landscapes like the mountains in Underground and the highways in Carbon, the Police being part of history and something that will never come back but I had a lot of fun as a child, unlocking areas of the map as you progressed, the curiosity I had to discover each new area of the map was magical.
so basically the same game they had like their last 3 iterations?
This is gonna make og fans mad, but BRING BACK THE SUPERCAR ERA OF NFS
Need for speed most wanted and carbon had a iconic car, Good storyline and nice roads to drive on. I just wish they went to that formula and not “modernize” everything to the point nfs loses its identity. Plus they need to add more rock songs to the games. That’s what truly made nfs for me
They should look at the comments of your last NFS video, everyone had amazing suggestions-
1 being bigger lobby’s
2 being longer racers
3 more unique cars(we are tired of 12 lambos, 10 porches, especially 4 different versions of the same car, ie 3 different Porsche GTS and 3 different Hurrancans)
4 Car classes set to type rather performance. Luxury cars, Sports cars, Muscle cars, retro cars, etc… much better than have a Ferrari in B Class lol.
5 Better cop AI and just better cops in general.
6 Races that are challenging but rewarding.
7 Cops should be HARDER as the difficulty increases along with the tougher AI racers. For example in S+ Hard Mode there should be more elite racers like Shimizu. He’s actually competent for an AI racer especially if your car isn’t max 400.
8 Competitive and “Fun” races like having online tournament races with knockout style races. “Fun” races are just for fun and reward people for using trash cars or wonky builds on cars.
9 Better speedlist so many ways to improve but AT LEAST more than 3 races and have Link Up events part of the speedlist. Have Off Road races and drift events in those races too.
10 A better story in general, Unbound’s story had so much cringe and unneeded things in it. Simple story will always be better in a racing game imo or NO story 💀. I wouldn’t mind mindlessly racing and unlocking stuff.
Damn that was a lot.
Agreed on the multiple variants of the same car, unnecessary and a waste of spots for cars, better to have other cars than the same car over and over and wheel selection isn't the greatest. This is just my opinion though
Bring back drag races, lap knock out, speed trap races and actual drift races
That’s a whole new game lol
@@jovanihernandez1766Agreed. We seriously need more variety in the events.
@@jovanihernandez1766i was thinking the same thing! Like there should be a drag strip and you can either race just to race or your can put bets on it or even pink slips
Don't know if they are gonna do like 2019-2020 with two games, I'm probably expecting the big game to come out in 2024 while a "smaller" game would come out to keep the fans waiting, prolly a relater or something like that is possible. I'm not expecting the potential MW2005 to come out for 2024 or even 2023 as a small remaster but it would be nice.
But like you said, locations is a really important thing, same with map design, if the devs stick to maybe Japan, mountain drifting like in 2015 with tighter roads and maybe an option to enable manual counter-steering. For the city part they need to have a huge beltway/highway NoHesi style, they just need to base themselves on what's coherent with the map, therefore the style of the game, etc
For a world map, I quite liked the look of the HD Rockport and Palmont City combined map in NFS World and I wanted to see that make a return in a future NFS game. Did anyone else like that map in World and if so, are you wanting to see it return in a future game?
Driving through some of the streets that I had seen so many times from Most Wanted in NFS World honestly made me feel bittersweet because of how empty it felt and the characters not being in the game. But was cool to see still.
Im just hoping for nfs heat 2
Nah mate. We need most wanted 3
tbf I'd be for that 100%
@@BlackPanthaa at least just like heat, but not 100% heat
@@drift_works heat actually had potential to be better than mw, all nostalgia aside, but they ruined it
now if you include my bias i agree 100%
most wanted remake from what i know
Would be also cool if in the future, after the poll ends and you send the results to Criterion/Devs you would do a video with the results
Multiplayer sequel to The Run would be a ton of fun. Maybe have it in Europe or somewhere and have that road trip aspect to the game
That would honestly be pretty sick
We've been ranting for 7+ years nonstop to EA about this franchise and there's still soooo much they haven't delivered on... Honestly, it's over & done! I think it's time we accept this and move on to other franchises.🙏 Also, with rumors of GTA 6's car culture/experience being brought beyond the scale of Forza Horizon & NFS (combined), I don't think we'll even need them anymore by then tbh. But then again... who knows how long it'll be till GTA 6 is even officially announced atp😂
I wish they did more for NFS Heat // not sure why, but it felt funner to me // better progression design and storyline. They go back to that feel and expand the storyline.
I think it was alot to do with how the cop chases were made. Like how you had a rhino swat truck for to either just dodge or use to your advantage by dodging it and tricking them into smashing into nearby cops. That and how the games story was about always doing whatever you can to raise your heat level. I like it because it gave me a Most Wanted '05 kind of vibe. And the cutscenes shown things like a car crashing and etc. Made it more interesting for me. That's why i liked Heat more than Unbound.
Honestly dont put out another one for 2-3 years. And support the fcuk out of the game that's out
I 100% that game for a reason. It was fun. It just that they need continuous support. Thats the main problem with NFS games of today's time. After beating the story and getting the cars that you want. There's literally nothing else to do. The online is trash and mfers don't wanna race for real.
Multiplayer games are hitting a brick wall. It's at a point where they need to just drop a map creator mode where the community could do what they want.
Only thing i don’t like about it was switching to day/night for money and rep
I hope the next need for speed has a dark theme, just like Criterion Games™ itself did back in 2011 in development of Most Wanted 2 (the Remake one, the alpha version not the Burnout Fairhaven one), seeing the potential of that game in the its beta version I was convinced that a game with that style would work very well, adding the characteristic elements of Unbound, I hope a game like this so much!
It would not be the game we wanted, but the game we needed
and make the cutscenes like nfsmw (real life interaction)
Do you believe it's impossible for them to go back to those alpha builds and start over from there for a sequel to NFS Most Wanted 2005?
@@NFS_etherealoh hi ethereal i'm your follower, however i don't think they even have the game assets to do it anymore, though i would love a remake of that game done right and giving the devs time with all the content cut, adding more new , better graphics (although it wasn't bad) and all the released dlcs included... but I strongly doubt it, what may be possible is that above all I hope it's a need for speed similar to unbound but completely revised in everything as I described in the comment above, i want to say i really liked unbound, i find it not a bad game, but surely we are far from the level of fun, creativity and diversity that was there until 10 years ago on need for speed... i also understand that the developers find it difficult to please everyone, so I hope for a need for speed that follows the same style of the last ones but very influenced by those betas that I absolutely adore
That's what I've been dreaming for. Have them go back and make the Most Wanted sequel they always wanted to do. I'd welcome Fairhaven back if it meant we got a solid gritty chapter with the Rockport fugitive.
Definitely keep the different class options/races it makes sense for me because you can build your car in many different ways with different parts and for gods sake they really need to fix the fitment when you lower your cars
They should definitely keep Link ups or another multiplayer event. More drift challenges like Heat had would be good too. Always enjoy your videos @BlackPanthaa
Seeing how the state of the franchise is rn, I wouldn’t be surprised if they go down the route on remaking the big 6, HP II, Underground 1 + 2, MW, Carbon, and Prostreet.
I would love an underground style, Japan inspired theme, map with more openness like payback, canyons like carbon and city like heat
No offroad i hate that keep it on the roads like the old nfs games
I hoping for an underground/most wanted progression style in a Japan based location. With drag racing back
I write in the end of the survey after i finished everything about Need For Speed Underground 2 for me it was the closest to a street racing outlaw heavy customization Dyno tuning ECU, Nitrous, Turbo, Transmission, Tires, Aerodynamics, classic japanese cars a few americans cars a few euro cars, nowadays that car list can go WILD aloooot of euro cars can be added alot of NEW japanese cars alot of americans also and call it... Underground 3 like all Underground 2 Fans been waiting for ❤😊😊
I personally would love to see a lot of the main gamemodes and general feel of need for speed world still sad that me and my friends found this game like 5 months before they shutted down the servers and i miss a lot of the gamemodes like team escape it was soo much fun and soo terrifying i know that soap box raceworld exists but none of my friends seem to care about it
I agree with Pants in that, so they should combine Single- and Multiplayer into one, cause its just so amazing when you can complete campaign with your friend driving aside. Just like it was in Heat and 2015)
Then you are going into the games as a service area you never own the game if the server is down no one plays, this is not a road you want to go down !!
a *Reputation* system where you earn points based on how you perform in a race. If you score enough points, select Racers with rare cars will seek you out for a 1v1, similar to Most Wanted.
A BlackBox era style need for speed would be fantastic!
Playing Heat just recently I kind of noticed that the open world is maybe a little bit too open. There are sections where you either miss the route or fly off the road and it ruins the flow of racing by having to drive back onto the road, same thing with the crash out and car health- its annoying. Hot Pursuit 2010 also had car health and crash outs but it worked well there and the open world was really highways and occasional short cuts.
Midnight Club took us to Japan- twice! NFS is missing a really cool opportunity
It should be something really special for the 30th anniversary, they missed 20 yrs. I had a concept in mind called "NEED FOR SPEED: REVIVAL" and it's basically world 2 with every single open map stitched together by highways, tunnels, and canyon-like roads. Imagine going from Rockport to Ventura Bay via the tri-city
They should do the new NFS as a combination of goodness from NFS Heat (Cops, Customization, Story, Gameplay and Sense of Speed) and the good things from NFS Unbound (more type of events, cartoon effects on the car, more updates, Delivery Cars Time Trial). Also if they bring back Toyota, then it will be the cherry on the top of the cake.
I really enjoyed Unbound but did it like having to basically restart when I started playing multiplayer. I had all the reward cars but they were all stock. And then most of the cars in the shop were locked.
if they were to make most wanted 2005 easily moddable, a little like Skyrim then that is a definite win in my books. Even if they just upscaled 2005 most wanted to 4k textures and included some sort of "ENB" or "immersive weather" mod that would literally blow the rest of the NFS games out of the water.
Definitely right about integrating the cops in the gameplay. the reason why we love the cops in Most Wanted is because we had to face them to progress... it wasn't an option; it was necessary for progression. That's why even though the cops were the same in Carbon, nobody ever really talks about them.
Removing crash cams forever would be a good start. But beyond that, tie in single player progression with mp progression just as Heat did, take more notes from MW and Carbon to handle the cops better, INTERIOR CUSTOMIZATION, at least the colors anyway, car meets where you can exit your car, walk around and view cars of other players similar to LS car meets in GTA, more cooperative modes, perhaps something to do with cops vs racers, link ups had the right idea around that, a story that has actual weight to it, some actual conflict, Heat did this great IMO, just should been longer, this next one is personal for me, but PLEASE give us the option to customize wheel spacing and tire width for our cars, FH5 did this perfectly, please give us this option! That’s about all I’ve got atm
Arcade racing not simulator
They just need to get back to NFSUG2 days with gritty street racing and in depth customization. Drift, drag race, url, outrun events etc...
it would awesome to see ppl doing delivery vehicle cars from single player while online in a session if the game was combined, or see them doing story mode races and join them in those as a friendly race it would be awesome
Hope they do a mix of most wanted x carbon , most wanted made you become the #1 on the list and beat razor to get back your city story was just awesome and the music was nostalgic , carbon had the sick outrun and canyon races along with trials with other cars like the Monte Carlo and 4 star heat lvl hope to see some more authentic physics in the next one like hot pursuit or the run the drifting physics are killing me the last couple years
Realistic characters, great drifting and a more industrial bigger city. Single player story is a must.
Nobody seems to talk about this, but I think playable cop cars should be a thing, kinda like Rivals but maybe expanded and stuff
2024 need to be NFS underground and Carbon inspired💯
Nfs 2012 had split multiplayer and single player and it was great
Still, it makes the single player more useless. What's the point of upgrading your car in single player when all upgrades won't save for the multiplayer?
The idea of split multiplayer osn't bad, but could use some more polish.
If there is an NFS coming this year, i highly doubt itll be an actual new NFS. Im not expecting anything but im sure if theyre dropping something its gonna be a remaster or remake (MW rumors)
I think it would be really weird to see a NFS game set in anywhere else besides America. I wonder what NFS would look like in a New England setting though (maybe like New Hampshire because of all the backroads and nature but it's still pretty developed in certain areas in terms of buildings or Massachusetts because of the scenery and the ocean)
All I want is a good size map, a variety of cars with customization to match. A multitude of race modes, etc. But, thats a long shot these days.
I loved Heat, still playing it now along with Rivals. What I would love to see is another Hot Pursuit or a hybrid where you can choose to be the cops or racers like heat had a day/night mode. This way you could challenge others in your party to some friendly PVP. Alternatively, it could be similar to how GTA5 has Role Play servers - have multiple teams where you have a group of cops and a group of street racers and they are working together to take out the others - like the story in Heat. I personally haven't bought Unbound yet because the "Spiderverse" style graphics were a turn off. There is already so much going on that you don't really need more distractions. Just my $0.02
YES
- The cell shading (characters only) was absolutely fine for me - I think it looked more refined and finally original/unique unlike all of their previous attempts at making ugly 3d character models. - I also thinks this works much better for character customization and clothing, etc.
- I thought the map was really well done, even more than some of the previous titles since 2015. And I always gripe when I hear about locations like miami or vegas. - lots of more tiny details and features that made it feel more alive.
- I'd love to see more accessible and customizable drift physics and suspension handling, and if not that, at least go back to the way it was in NFS Heat (literally just port the physics from Heat into the new game, AT LEAST). - These are scraping the bottom of the barrel requests here.
- I'd like to see the cops go back to the way they were in NFS Heat.... They broke the cops in Unbound when they didn't need to.
- Camera mode? Gran Turismo and Forza Horizon got unreal photo modes, and NFS Unbound retracted all of their past features and added nothing in return.....?
- Theatre mode/playback mode on races, add it. - This would add great replay value to the game. That and being able to see your races back in different angles would be super cool.
- UI accessibility and customization like no HUD but you can pick and choose what you want on screen. ie: I tried playing no HUD in unbound and I couldn't online because I couldn't see my Nos boosts... On a side note, It would be really great to be able to minimize player names to icons on the roster in the top left during races as it is just screen clutter. - It would also be nice to see the speedo as minimal as it can get with the boost bar, etc.
- More dev original body kits - Paying for licenses is expensive, just give us tons of body kits made by NFS devs. - Also add roll cages and drift charms, window visors, etc.
- To be able to play single player races ONLINE and OFFLINE, and for your progress to be saved on both as well.
- to be able to create private lobbies, and to be able to race by yourself like a time attack. - Grinding by myself in Heat/2015 was part of the fun while preparing myself for online races.
- Non collision/ghost mode.... Should be a pretty basic/mandatory feature in any racing game.
- Blow off valve sound tuner.
- Ranked mode - playercards, emblems, calling cards, etc.
- fast travel in multiplayer, duh.
- add different garages with varying characteristics/personalities based on race/drift teams/garages.
- Wide range matchmaking that doesn't rely solely on your lobby.
- Let the fanbase vote and choose songs on the NFS website for a soundtrack since it's so controversial
- I'm personally never invested in stories in racing games, but put some time and effort into making a bad guy lol. - cops, gangs, rivalries, just focus on making a good story rather than something fruity trying to cater to everyone. and make sure it has good voice actors. ( i actually liked the voice actors in unbound compared to previous nfs titles imo, the dialogue, questionable tho).
- I always say Japan, but it's probably not going to happen, even if it did it might be wrongly represented. - Make it something to the likes of Seattle or Vancouver (Canada), Oregon, Utah, the long Tokyo highways, two lane mountain passes etc.
- Also hot take, I really did not care about the timed boost starts in unbound and the side swipe drift mechanics in unbound, as it just added an unnecessary skill gap. Much prefer normal nos and vanilla racing unless it is differentiated in a different game mode.
- Oh yea, and patch NFS 2015, Payback, and Heat to 60FPS on PS5/Series X/S will ya.
I'm missing a lot more rn, but that's my two cents, thanks for coming to my ted talk. The devs should really not have any reason to be lacking on ideas when we can be receptive like this.
One location I think has a lot of potential is Atlanta. Haven't seen it done since Midnight Club 3, but I remember Atlanta being the place I spent the most time in. Either that or Criterion can do New York in a similar as they did Unbound.
More race variety like Tuner only, Muscle only, 4x4 Off-Road etc.
I hope they change it back to story and online on the same game
A game set in early 00s in Japan would be nuts
As far as what I'd like to see in NFS, I'd like to see good cops (even if they were brought back from MW 05 or Carbon), a continuing big car list like in Unbound but allow all cars to be gotten in single-player (don't restrict any to online cause not all of us play online), a world map like NFS World's with HD Rockport and Palmont combined or maybe something from the UK, Japan or something, race events similar to previous titles such as: drifting from Underground 2/Carbon, drag from Underground 1&2, wheelie drag from Prostreet, tollbooth/checkpoint from Most Wanted 05/Carbon, Hot Pursuit events from Hot Pursuit/Rivals, story from Most Wanted 05/Carbon/Heat, continuous updates from The Crew 2, customization from all NFS that gives us customizable options for everything on a car and maybe combining parts like adding a lot of parts from Underground 2/Most Wanted 05/Carbon/Prostreet and adding real life parts that are available in the new NFS titles to have an increased parts availability for customizing a vehicle. So if you didn't want to use real life parts, you could use the parts from the old games on all the cars so a car would never have to look stock unless you wanted it to (basically more variety on customization options is all I'm saying) and bring back options from Underground 2 like the "Specialty" shop items like Neon for the Engine and Trunk, Gauges, NOS Purge, Hydraulics, Doors, Split Hoods, Spinners, Audio for the trunk and how about Carbon Fiber for the body and the trunk like you could in Underground 2's Body Shop? I don't know if that ever came back.
Also, I'd like for there to be in the world map a VERY LONG straightaway on a highway to test out the top speeds of the cars and for there to be a mile long or more drag strip. One thing I love about drags, is listening to the engines of the cars as the cars go through the gear shifts and goes to top speed.
Add in highway battles where u start on one side of the highway and finish at the end with lots of cars in the way
Just bring back the cop pursuit from previous games, and pursuit techs like emp, jammer, shockwave, spike strip. Loved them in previous criterion games
We want nfs most wanted remake!
We've wanted one since 2005. (I bought 6 PS2 disks for that game)
They already know what we don’t like. We told them that since the unbound beta. They can keep the anime or spider era theme and effect if they want but for people like me that don’t like it, give us an option to turn it off and please disable the stupid crash cams. I won’t even buy the next one or play it if they don’t remove these. The crew motorfest and hopefully test drive solar crown will be enough for me.
I still feel like NFS is going full circle with the aesthetics/color of their games. 2015 was U2, Payback was yellowish (sand) like MW, Heat was dark/blue/purple like carbon, Unbound was green like Prostreet, next would be Shift iirc? So I'm guessing the next game will look a lot like shift and maybe even go with the simulation racing type of gameplay.
NFS is doomed to fail. NFS without BlackBox is like a car without an engine.
I was going to tell you to be optimistic but then my power just turned off
There is stll hope. Criterion was working on NFS Most Wanted 2 back in the early 2010's but got rushed and Criterion had to scrap most if not all the content and thats how we got MFS MW 2012, nothing more but a Burnout game, however the can still finsh it and give us what they originally wanted
@@SHIFTER24FXwhen vol 4 comes out and disappoints that ‘hope’ is gonna be gone
@@SHIFTER24FX If they remaster the game it wouldnt do well at first until they realize what that game should have been
@@hw_driver5988 If only EA wasnt a greedy a$$
Can’t wait for the Next NFS
I can because it’s not gonna be good more than likely
@@austinidkneededtomakeanewa6303same here dude. Unbound was kinda EH for me. It would've been better is the game actually had good good tracks. Also I had turned off the cartoon effects because of how bad it looked.
@@austinidkneededtomakeanewa6303they need to fucking up their game I'm so tired of waiting
Option for realistic steering wheel physics, I'd love to run from cops on my sim rig 😅
I'll say one thing that I wish will come back in NFS that's been absent for a long time and that's... LOCAL multiplayer. My buddies and I want to do split/screen racing in the same room but we couldn't do any of that since NFS Undercover I think, I don't know if Shift had local multiplayer or not. So we're basically stuck playing split/screen on Underground, Most Wanted, Carbon, Prostreet and Undercover and that's all good but we should be able to do the same on newer games as well, not through online.
I really hope the next NFS keeps the driving effects!
Hell No
Nah.
I don't know why people hate the effects so much. I like them a lot
All I want is burst NOS
Revuelto in the new nfs for sure
Need For Speed in Australia would be wild. Actually insane but I would be all for it
You nailed the description of the Spider-Verse animations comparison lol also I as it you BP who said they didn’t reuse anything from Heat to make Unbound? Didn’t use any previous car models, customization parts, like anything visual essentially they didn’t recycle from Heat. They started from scratch, was that this channel? Anyhow, here’s a simple list of things to add/fix/delete from what they currently have in Unbound:
-bring back customization ratings for new cars so we know if we’ll have one front bumper option or 27
-dope tool would be NFS: Undercover’s scaling tool for each cosmetic mod for example: front bumper of your choice can get even more custom as you could adjust the size and angle of each hole, total size of the bumper, canards, everything on the bumper has a slider scale and can get bigger/smaller/adjustable angles
Id love to see Japan, make your own carmeets, focus really on the underground feeling, like 2015. They should expand on the carmeets, invite people, and be able to walk around like gta 5.
I would love to see an online only Need for Speed game Where they combined, all of the cities from every Need for Speed game up to this point. So you can drive and travel to each city. Like you can in the crew across the US.
I don't want an online only NFS game. I want to be able to enjoy an offline experience.
Always online is a no-go for me.
@@StaceyAyodele I fully understand that, but what I'm talking about is. And MMO type of Need for Speed gain to where it can be updated with new cities and new cars and combined every city from every Need for Speed game ever created in the list.
5:41 Mentioned it in the poll already, but imagine they give pursuits a Watch Dogs spin, with pursuit breakers that can be activated remotely or by crashing into them! Explosives here, city barriers or spike strips there. Incorporate structures getting destroyed with the fancy tech they're using on Battlefield. But in doing so, they have a special cop unit on their side that can use abilities, similar to the way weapons work in Hot Pursuit/Rivals. Something like Heat's Shaw, only being active in actual gameplay. Or I guess a better comparison would be Most Wanted's Cross.
On top of cops being more tactical, forcing you to worry more about what tactics they'll use against you & worry less about a cop suddenly rubberbanding to ruin an artificial health bar. Rolling roadblocks, brake checking, box formations, spin outs, shunts, rhino callouts, police unit or spike strip or concrete barrier roadblocks, grid lockdowns, smoke screens. Pursuits have yet to reach their peak & I know we'll see some crazy stuff some day.
At least in my head this sounds hype. We've had enough basic pursuit systems that fail to best Most Wanted, and the power-ups from the cop vs racer games don't get enough attention, so why not a mix of both styles?
Maybe if they go to Atlanta or Texas , Texas is a huge state on our map... regular characters that they had in need for speed heat...use real hip-hop artists that are in the industry, and in that state .. if they could have a dark mode with zombies while being chased by cops ...just a crazy idea...better mechanics similar heat and longer storyline and based on your decisions determine your game play .. Unlock more old school cars like Gto, Chevelle, shelby cobra and novas
I want more gripe handling in the next game
My expectations about the next NFS: Toyota back, offroad and drag back, great and long plot (similar to 2015 and Payback), whole map is used for events, better Anime style, slow motion during cops' elimination (from Payback), better OST (rock, eurobeat)
So basically Most Wanted 2005 mixed with Initial D and Wangan Midnight?
No anime style 🤢
@@CyanRooper Something like this or mixed latest four NFS
Yeah let’s leave the spider verse anime style out of this one
I just want a non-open-world game with beautiful unique tracks from different places of the world. Then add the tuning from Underground 2 and the damage/repair system from High Stakes and that's my dream game.
I don't know why they remake NFS3 about 48 times but NFS4 not even once.
1:38 I didn't know that Spider-verse wasn't a cartoon hahaha
I think a style 2015 day/night nfs with some more realistic physics could be good
with canyon duels and stuff from nfs carbon. oh man what a game it would be.
I just want a predictable handling model. Black box era nailed it (IMO the only outliers are Underground 1 grip rolling after landing a big crash and what the hell was going on on undercover) and made their games great, fun and memorable. Modern NFS need to find a good handling model formula, Heat almost had it, but unbound took some steps backwards on this regard (i lost count on how many times my car understeered or lost control on bumps because the game couldnt decide if the car should enter grip or drift state).NFS handling should be fun, easy to pick up and play and feel rewarding for anyone who puts time to learn and be good at it.
Heat's handling was shit, was nothing like Most Wanted 2005 at all.
This is my hopes and dreams for future nfs.
1. Characters can pose out of the car in photo mode depending on the pose you chose at the beginning.
2. Keep bumper delete option
Add ability to have cartoon affects or real ones. Same for Characters.
3. More Bugatti, bring Bugatti back into the spotlight.
4. More irl license plates and multiple varieties of the same plate from different years.
5. Add the ability to add cop lights to cop related cars like the crown Victoria, hellcat, and corvette stingray/grand sport.
6. Keep sound samples from unbound. I loved that I could change what my car sounded like when I hit the gas, let off the gas, hit nos, etc. Specially when mixed with a supercharger's whine.
7. Give us the ability to choose how much money we want to put into side bets. Like a slider or something.
8. Add more exotic cars.
9. Give me the ability to put a big block air intake on my dodge charger.
10. Give us the ability to choose the weather we want to spawn in and how common or rare that weather is.
Personally for me I'm a huge morning and overcast fan so I get bummed out when I get sunset in unbound knowing if I try to get the weather I want I'll end up wasting the whole week.
11. Stop the 240 mph cap. You got new hardware so use it to the potential it deserves. I want to be in a Koenigsegg going 300 mph.
12. Give us airport's again like 2012 mw where we can just screw around and not hit traffic and to be able to test the speed of our cars without interruption.
13. Bring back drag races please, and let us have drag builds that can do wheelies like payback.
14. Make the upgrade system a mix between nfs heat's and unbound's.
Don't give paybacks upgrade system a living chance.
And that's it. That's all the critics I can think of rn.
I hope it's a Most Wanted ramake, it has the best story progression, you feel like you're evolving with each blacklist member, unlocking cars, unlocking the map, getting more tuning parts, that sense of progress that needs is missing current ones, as it was in the classics, now the online mode had to have a worldwide blacklist, whoever made the most money, bought the most cars and defeated the most policemen went up on the list, and every month or week they released new speed lists with online challenges like "win 2 circuits and 2 drifts" and the prize would be a special edition car or a new car.
My body is ready for a NFS Most Wanted remake!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Or let Criterion finish NFS MW2 (the prototype/beta
NFS needs more maturity. I need more aggression in this game. And a higher focus on car culture and a more serious story with a good amount of length
For me nfs unbound story is incredibly short probably the shortest story they have ever done. For the next game I would like to see a longer story because that’s what gets the audience invested in playing the single player mode provided they do it right. I also would like to see driver job missions like there was in undercover but with a bit of a twist kinda similar to how payback did it with the runner missions where you would have missions that you would go undercover and investigate plus get intel on the opposition. The only other thing on a gameplay side I can come up with is make it that the cars you unlock in the story mode you should have unlocked in multiplayer as well. Reason being it’s a massive headache just to try and unlock the cars again for multiplayer after you’ve unlock them all in single player.
In terms of the car list I’ve got no doubt it will be expanded again like it usually is to keep things fresh but in terms of new car these would be my top 10.
1. Audi R8 V10
2. Audi S5 Sportback
3. BMW M4 2022
4. McLaren 720s
5. Ferrari 296
6. Aston Martin Vantage
7. Porsche GT3 RS 2022
8. Maserati MC20
9. Alfa Romeo 155
10. Honda Integra
In terms of dlc packs I can think of 5
1. Toyota/Lexus car vehicles pack
Toyota Supra 1998
Toyota Supra 2020
Toyota GR 86
Lexus IS200
Lexus RCF
2. Japanese vehicles pack
Nissan Skyline R33
Mazda 6
Mazda 3
Subaru BRZ 2022
Mitsubishi FTO
3. European vehicles pack
Jaguar XFRS
Aston Martin DB10
Audi RS5
Audi RS3
BMW M8
4. Hypercar vehicles pack
Koenigsegg Agera RS
Bugatti Divo
Hennessy Venom F5
Aston Martin Valkyrie
McLaren Senna
5. Off Road vehicles pack
Toyota Hilux
Mercedes X Class
Ford Ranger
Dodge Durango
Ford Explorer
Would love to know if people agree with me here, but i think the game i think we all really want is:
- The world from the crew (but not necessarily America)
- Physics like Forza Horizon
- Customization and police from NFS
- Story as a mashup between the 3, but with more depth - explained more in point 2 below
1. I feel like this is what a lot of people have wanted for years and years, and to be honest i think the closest we are going to get any time soon is the next GTA or Horizon 6. NFS after heat and 2015 was really promising as they were going in the right direction, but i didnt even buy unbound because as a die hard NFS fan from the days of underground and undercover, were straying from what kept us hooked when we were younger. I appreciate them trying something new with the cartoon stuff, but i just really didnt like it. Personally I hope they can get back to that old school feel though, and i think a lot of people are in the same boat as me.
2. I would also like to see a longer, more fleshed out story - however this is difficult to do in a racing game without drastically slowing down your progress through the levels of car, which i wouldnt mind actually. I would like to see it take longer to generate money, as a lot of the time only a few hours into the game (and story wise, your character has only been racing for like 2 weeks) and you already have a 2 lambos, 3 jdm icons an r8, and whatever your starter car was for example. Maybe the story part way through, something big could happen (you get caught/arrested for 2 years for example) and lose all your cars. You could then serve your time and move to a new city and start from scratch, and build up again with an aura of some people recognising you etc, could be cool, and a potential way of counteracting having an insane car collection very quickly. Maybe then you could even hunt down your old cars and race for them or trade/buy them/track them down from the people that ended up with them after you were caught as a side thing to the main story. Some people will be heavily against this, but in rdr2 they killed off your horse and it was one of the most gripping, memorable bits of the game (sorry if spoilers). I think it could work here too.
3. The customisation is great and they get it right every time, but i would love to see many more dev created body kits, wheels etc rather than basically all licensed stuff and then a couple of dev ones, and more interior options - this would be WAY more important if we had a cockpit cam, but i am not too bothered if there is one or not, im more than happy to have chase cams only tbh. I also think it could be cool to have dev made car wraps that are basic and meant for us to customise further (kinda like the F1 games do), as most of the time i find a really cool one made by a player that i dont like certain bits of, but i also suck at the decal editor and dont want to put hours plus into the look of one car personally.
4. Drifting for me is also a huge part of racing games, and is what i have most fun with after i finish the story, and im glad i didnt get this game as it looked very underwhelming and almost forgotten, whereas in heat they did it quite well.
Heat was honestly one of the best NFS ever. If they would actually update this thing and EA didn't forget about its existence I bet it would be one of the top NFS. It had that great vibe, great cops and overall the game was just good. The only problem was the repetitiveness due to lack of updates.
the crew motorfest is the closest thing we are getting to japan
I actually made a concept game intro where NFS Heat is a Drift based game. I’d like to see a Drift/Drag based NFS game with a multiplayer territory map that gets you motivated to conquer parts of the map like Carbon.
The crew motorfest did a great job in Hawaii but I’d love a streetracing Hawaii game
Best concept ever make street drag racing with full stipulations, side betting and pinks. Pick from a few street crews with territories. Street crews can helps prep and place side bets and spectate. Make reputations count and of course cops. Basically make the real street racing scene and game.
I Loved How In Heat The Cops We’re Impossible
Completely agree about the community point - just started NFS World and am loving the people in it while grinding
I am curious for a cyberpunk location with the current cars we have and do like crazy stuff while racing like the run did, but you can do it in multiplayer
I loved how they split the Rep/Money making up Day/Night races with and without cops but they need to bring back gaining extra rep points by doing long drifts, close calls, jumps/airtime like they had in previous games
There needs to be proximity chat the community will love it
I love the current online and customizations in NFS Unbound, I wish we had the story mode, handling and cops of NFS heat and the style/graphics of NFS 2015
the only thing i want the most is there should a lot more cars, there plenty with damn good tuning stuff Like Lexus LFA, LC500, RCF, Hyundai Genesis, i30 N Fastback, Kia Stinger, Toyota Supra Mk3, 4 & 5, Toyota Celica, Mazda Savanna RX-7, Nissan Skyline R31, McLaren 650s, Mercedes SLK 1sten & 2nd Gen, CLK 1st & 2nd Gen, C63 Black Series, C-Class 3rd Gen, E55 W208, BMW 3series E36, 5series E39 & E60 & F10, 850csi, M635, Audi RS7, Audi Quattro, Audi RS3 Sedan, Honda/Acura Integra 1st Gen, Honda S660, VW Golf 2nd, 3rd & 4th Gen, Lynk & Co Sedan, Alfa Romeo 155, Ford Escort RS Turbo, and many more!
