Actually ryan cooper isn't the player of most wanted and carbon because player finished his career in palmont which his home town.plus player can't be the undercover protagonist in TRI city because you that the player is the most wanted racer in Rockport and he would be arrested for more years because the crimes he committed in rockport.and I think player had either retired from racing because in 2005 and 2006 in the beta busted from mw you will see that he is in his mid 20 -25 yrs.so cooper isn't player

Seriously speaking, growing up through this series, i never went too deep into its storyline, thinking that every NFS release is just another good racing game with a story... But the way you connected all these games and their stories in a chronological way, i really just want to restart the whole series again from scratch and actually go deep into the storyline... A very well detailed and informative video! the real revival of NFS will be him taking back the BMW, and not this cringe woke trash they do with heat and this new unbound bs. and they pretty much insult the whole Player story by letting heat protagonist take ownarship of the BMW. and that bich sayng lets show how this car shuld be driven or some bs like that. This makes so much sense in so many ways, not going to lie I almost shed a tear for the player knowing where his racing finally ended and seeing the photo showing his last time racing for the series, the player was with us for 12 long years and beat pretty much the entire world he’s in, hailed as the greatest racer of all time. Wish they would make a need for speed game of the players kid or something showing the players child working his/her way up to finally meet his/her father and race him one on one and you play as the players child of course to ultimately finally get that face reveal of the player himself even though the player is ultimately just you, you are the player, so I guess it kinda wouldn’t work for a face reveal, but we could see the events take place through his point of view after the race ends where the players child reveals him/herself as his child. That is a need for speed game I would love to play in today’s time.

Makes no sense. It's like some wet fanfic theory. It's fitting only, if you forget any logic and common sense. The main protagonist of MW and Carbon( maybe UG1 and 2, because is just hinted a little bit)is not Ryan. His story is in Pro Street, Shift one and two. He is arrested in Undercover. What happened after that with him it's not very clear. The main protagonist in Undercover is a different character, undercover cop, a real cop, not just someone hired. Also the main protagonist of Hot persuit and Rivals is different again. Ryan story is only in Pro Street, Shift 1 and 2. The story of the protagonist with BMW is Carbon and MW, also is hinted by Rog, that very possible he is in UG 1 and 2, but one is obviously, his story end for good in Carbon. If you think logically, his story starts in Playmont with his exile and ends in Playmont, when he beating the man responsible for his exile, clear his reputation and name and win back his gf. I don't know why so many fans think, that in all games is one and only one character. It is not. And if you think logicall and without the main goal to put Ryan everywhere, you will see, that is not logical, he to be everywhere and all the time. Using this mindset, if i want, i can prove, that the main protagonist is Razor and to make one big plot twist 😂😂😂 and to make up everything to fits my theory. The answer is more simple, just different character.

But so many people just want racing games for the sake of driving (which i understand) and that manifests itself in "lightweight stories to please everyone".. knowing this and EA's ways... Something I always found funny is that without a doubt, the protagonists of NFS Most Wanted and NFS Carbon are supposed to be the same person, how ever the character models have completely different faces and head shape when you remove the blur effect in the busted cut scenes. I guess it'd make sense not to have it consistent considering the only time you're supposed to see his face is when it's blurred. Still something to think about though.

It's actually always been my headcanon that the games were connected by the same player being you. It's pretty mindblowing to see it all laid out, there's connections here I really was not expecting. Personally, I took it even further with another EA game: the F1 series. They added a "My Team" mode in 2021 where you make your own character that has somehow gotten the funding to start their own F1 team for themselves to compete. They are known as the "Owner Driver" which is a classification we haven't seen in real F1 in decades. In my headcanon, Player realizes that he's almost reached the top of motorsport after beating the Speed Icons. So he leaves it all behind, sells his entire fleet, and decides to go legit one more time. He enters the pinnacle of motorsport with his own F1 team and eventually becomes the World Driver Champion, further cementing his status as the greatest racer of all time.

Great explanation and connection of the stories but I have a couple of things to say Darius didn't pay off Cross, that's why Cross wants Nikki to make sure he got paid and says "Just a bounty hunter, and I always get paid. Just make sure I do." Nikki pays the player's bounty (which should have been around 15 million, not 150k but it's irrelevant at this point) and saves him I also don't think the protagonist in Undercover is the main character (or Ryan Cooper) as the police radio suggests he is caught while the protagonist is listening to it (unless it's an older recording)

This is such a well done video you did on the NFS story in chronological order, hats off to you, AND props to you on this one, I’ve always thought that the Player was a completely different person after Carbon, but now, thanks to you, I now know the Player’s story in chronological order up until 2015, you’ve done what no OTHER NFS UA-camr has even come close to doing, at all. I’ve also never known that there was a real story after ProStreet and Undercover, but now I know. The NFS series has such a connected timeline, that it’s not even funny, seriously. This video is worth rewatching to fully understand it, THAT’S how good it is!! The NFS community always has something up it’s sleeve, even if we still don’t have anything new yet, as of now.

I knew beforehand that Need for Speed Underground 1 and 2 were connected stories, but hearing this fan thorny that the “player” has been on this long journey, from starting low in Underground 1 all the way to Most Wanted 2012, that’s one heck of a legacy. I remember my first Need For Speed game was Need for Speed Underground. I’ll always have such fun memories of trying to beat that game, and I still haven’t to this day haha. I gotta get back to playing that game and beat the levels, same with Underground 2 and Most Wanted. I’ve never played any other Need for Speed Games that much besides those 3. This is a great video explaining this timeline of how the player has been going through so many cities and racers, just to come out on the top

NFS lore is so big that it gets harder and harder to understand it. It gets more difficult to understand after 2015. That bmw is seen almost in every nfs game. In payback its abandoned, in heat it’s caught by police, in unbound it’s being delivered to razor. But also lets not forget about mobile version of nfs(no limits). There is an event called “urban legends” where we get this bmw and we can keep it if we win new blacklist at blackridge city. And also there is an event for Bugatti chiron (25 years anniversary) and through whole event we complete nfs legend games such as prostreet, underground, etc. But at the end of the event we fight mistery boss on nissan gtr. And guess who it is? It is player. As soon as we win him he tells us that “Olympic city… Bayview… Rockport… Palmont city… These are my cities. But Blackridge, I don’t need convincing. This one is yours. One day you’ll join me in infamy. I know it. Keep it up” but that’s not it. If you have that legendary bmw he says this “Oh.. and thanks for looking after the M3”

actually, you don't play as Ryan Cooper in Undercover, Ryan is brought up in one or two different occasions during the game though, one of them is when you have to steal a McLaren F1, and the other time is just from one of those random bits of police chatter when you wait around in free roam long enough. EDIT: ok, so you brought up the second thing that I mentioned, but also, given how Undercover works, whenever there's one of those Police radio dialogues, it spawns in some patrol cars, so that's why I think Ryan isn't the character you play as in Undercover, but instead just some random no name undercover cop. 2nd EDIT: also, technically, Ryan Cooper was there for the end of NFS Payback, as he's one of the racers during part 1 and 2 of the Outlaws Rush.

Totally right man. This is the true theory. Ryan is not the main protagonist in MW and Carbon. This main protagonist is no named and you play with him in MW and Carbon, and very possible in UG1 and 2, because is hinted by Rog. And all from UG 1 to Carbon fits perfectly and is very logical. But after with Ryan and all these BS becomes wet fanfic dream. Also Ryan is not the character in Undercover. So bay bay uncover cop theory too. The story of the owner of BMW end in Carbon. From the storyline perspective his story starts in Playmont and ends there in NFS Carbon.

This proves that the player and "Ryan Cooper" are two different people. The theory of the Tri-City Bay cops, who were Blackbox's easiest and dumbest cops, running this elaborate conspiracy to cover up the identity of Ryan Cooper, who, according to the theory in this video, is Most Wanted on a National level, by faking his arrest is not just a stretch, it's a goddamn rip and tear. Why would they do that when they can just hire some actually trained undercover officer to do it? Also, there's no proof that Ryan went legit and we play as him in Shift. If anything, Undercover proves that after becoming Street King in ProStreet, Ryan Cooper went back into his life of crime. Also, there is no conclusive proof that Ryan Cooper was the protagonist of NFSU1, NFSU2, NFSMW, and NFSC. The player character in the Underground series has no real provable link to the Carbon-Most Wanted story or the ProStreet story, so the only reasonable assumption is that they are different characters. The fan theory of the BMW M3 GTR sounds solid, until you realize that the actual engine and transmission of the M3 GTR are no longer in production. Ghost Games really fucked up with the story here, just bringing back the BMW for nostalgiabaiting. It makes no sense in the story.

One addition to the story of NFS 2015. If you complete all the Outlaw missions (SPOILER ALERT the Outlaw is Trevor) after you meet him to congratulate you for succeeding in his cop chasing missions he says the exact line “Welcome back from the dead brother” assuming he knows who you are and what you have accomplished.

3:45 We can't say he bought the m3 gtr for sure though, as there is no possible way you can buy a race car that isn't road legal and is only built for race tracks. And it is not possible to buy a stock m3 and put the parts together as most of the gtr's parts are not available to the public. There's two ways ryan cooper could've gotten it: Ryan must've been racing legally for some time or somehow snuck into a legal race and when he got behind the wheel of an m3 gtr he somehow bailed the race and left the track and then changed the livery of the m3 gtr to something of his own. OR he could've somehow found an abandoned m3 gtr and used the sponsorship money to repair it. There's no telling on how he got the paperwork (pinkslip) for the car as there is no way he could've obtained it legally.

Someone needs really needs to make this into a netflix series. Following on from your conclusion: Player, who from your plot we can say is Ryan Cooper from Prostreet, is eventually arrested and serves prison time following the events of NFS Payback, in which he makes an appearance as one of the Payback protagonists' opponents. Later on in NFS Heat, Player/Ryan Cooper's M3 GTR ends up in Mercer's hands, after it had been repaired and sold by Darius many years prior. Darius may well have paid the police to impound it, in order to keep it away from Player/Ryan Cooper. Anyway, after Mercer unsuccessfully tries to escape in it, the M3 is eventually recovered (possibly repaired and later sold, as opposed to being impounded, given that Mercer had impounded the car illegally). In NFS Unbound, Ryan Cooper retrieves his M3 after being released from prison, and the two are back together (in Unbound, there is a mission in which you deliver the M3 GTR to someone who had just been released from prison and was looking to acquire the car). Now for the ultimate plot twist: In an unprecedented crossover, Ryan Cooper enters the 2025 Horizon Festival, set in Japan, as one of Forza Horizon 6's antagonists (a Horizon game with bosses, like the original). Ryan Cooper goes far in the Horizon Festival, but is eliminated shortly before the final. The FH6 player then beats Ryan Cooper in a 1-on-1 race and wins the M3. Ryan Cooper takes the loss well, given this is the first time he will has lost fair and square. Following this, Ryan Cooper, now in his 40s and clear of any police charges, returns to the United States, reinstates his relationship with Nikki, and winds up living a relatively calm life.

personally, i always thought that the black box storyline was it own thing and ended with undercover, prostreet and shift are both track racing games, but they are different, shift taking place on actual tracks like gran turismo, and prostreet taking place on sanctioned tracks, onn actual streets, kinda like race wars from the fast and the furious

I just noticed that "Players" face reminds me of Toby Marshal from the NFS movie But a problem that I have with this is that the timeline jumps all over the place, making it inconsistent. My head cannon is that there are multiple protagonists, and this is it: My version of players arc is the same in the beginning. Players arc goes from Underground, but he ends with the alias Ryan Cooper as his arc ends with Shift 2, with undercover happening before shift Player 2 is a cop, his story Is that he starts off as a cop in Seacrest County, then transferred to Redview county. To me Zephyr's story is Hot Pursuit, Most Wanted 2012, and Rivals. Zephyr started out as a low time street racer in Seacrest, eventually becoming most wanted there, then he moved to Fairhaven City to become most wanted, and also gaining the alias "Zephyr". He then moves to Redview to become the top racer there. But eventually getting arrested So to me the cop from Rivals and Zephyr have had beef since 2010. Onto Player 3's story, His arc is Rivals, 2015, and Heat. Starting out as a street racer from Rivals, it was his goal to be the best driver out there. Just to add a bit. The M3 GTR in Need For Speed No Limits. The player (most likely) gave it to another player and asked the new guy to beat the blacklist in that game (Yes, Razor is in there) That's as far as I can remember
15:10 i believe the player is F-8 (fate), not the cop that you play with in-game my own head canon for this is that the player does indeed become a cop, but off-screen, he climbs thr ough the ranks during the racer campaign, becomes the top cop and goes to Redview County. Meanwhile the racer from the classic saga (NFS 1 until Hot Pursuit 2) decides to take on Seacrest County's best, gets a Porsche Boxter to start with and does what he wanted to. After that, few days after F-8 left, the racer personally approaches the PD's headquarters and decides to enter the police force to become the ultimate enforcer. He then goes to Redview after F-8 became an elite cop, and then we get to the point of F-8 being the former Ryan Cooper. As for MW2012, it is basically in the limbo, with its own self-contained "story", and 2015 takes place right after No Limits, where the racer from that game defeats Darius King and the Royals (wich were the real final crew before the Bloodfangs were added) and goes to Ventura Bay. Payback is, again, a self-contained story, tied in with Heat and Pro Street because of the Rivera family being in the game and Gallo Rivera having a close relationship with Tyler and Aki Kimura making his appearance after getting humiliated by Ryan Cooper. Unbound, The Run for the Wii and Nitro is unrelated to anything too it seems
10:36 That’s actually a really good idea. A lot of theories i read about say that Ryan’s story ends here, where he gets arrested. This is a very interesting change. In the Hot Pursuit 2010 game, I believe that The Racer (i think he’s known as “Spectre” in No Limits?)’s story runs parallel to The Player (Cop)’s story. After the events of NFSHP2010, he gets beaten, with multiple different racers claiming the title until it reaches the “No Limits” Player. (Pursuit Legends Event, NFS No limits) As for Rivals, my interpretation of the story is that Zephyr and Fate’s stories are intertwined, where Zero Hour (Cop’s final Mission) takes place during Grand Tour (Racer’s final Mission), and Zephyr’s crash at the end of the race is caused by Fate. In other words, even though it seems almost as if the two careers are separate, as seen in the respective cutscenes, i believe that in a sort of “True Timeline”, Zephyr’s crash is indirectly caused By Fate, who had also ended up crashing. This connects the two careers nicely, which is why I believe that this would be a “True” Timeline. Though, the only issue is that this theory might fall apart due to the circumstances of No limits, since it’s kind of ambiguous where it takes place, or whether it impacts the story in any way. In the “Urban Legends” event, the “Player” leaves the M3 GTR with “No Limits Player”, which contradicts the M3 being in Heat. The only possible reason could likely be that the M3 is simply another replica. Assuming No limits isn’t canon, then i am willing to say that my theory was wrong.

@@AiMoun I feel like it has to be NFS: MW, that was one of the only ones which I have old clear memories of which I played in the series. But I actually also have played other titles like undercover (on PS2), No Limits (I mean it was free so I tried it lol), ProStreet (played a small bit on some ps3, was used to a different type of gameplay nfs wise, so didn't enjoy it much, but it was still decent game). I probably have experienced other ones but don't either remeber or knew I was playing nfs lol. Like I have vague memories of playing something which I think was the very early versions of NFS. It's just that MW is what I really enjoyed and get hit by the nostalgia when I play it.
I wanna know what happened to Mia after the events of Most Wanted where the player is going back to Palmont City. Where did she go after that? I know that she's an undercover police officer that is pretending to be a street racer all along, but did she replaced Cross as the new sergeant? Cross became a bounty hunter in Carbon, you know. The part that he drives a Corvette Z06 in the canyon and he wants revenge to take you out because of your reckless driving getaway in Rockport then travelled to Palmont. He lost his job because he failed to arrest the player and adds him in the Most Wanted list. You and Cross are in Lookout Point, beginning the first Canyon chase. My opinion tho, if Mia appeared in Carbon as one of your allies, she would definitely repair your M3 GTR after it got totaled in Lookout Point, where she will notify you when you win one of the races in Silverton. There, all of your crew members such as Neville, Nikki, Colin, etc... will fix it with some improvements. When they are finished repairing your M3, the player must use it in order to smoke Darius and his Audi Le Mans Quattro once and for all.

Wish the story is a true NFS saga. If Ryan was actually racing in around 2003 and retire in 2015 means he has 13 years of racing career, also close coincidence the M3 GTR which he acquire in 2005 showed up again in 2019 which itself has raced around 14 years. Good to know it is in the good hand, the new "Heat" players. I think EA made clear that Ryan's story is done and now it's up to NFS players to write their own.
Man those were really good times when companies(especially EA) and developers cared so much about their games and fans. Aside from all this, I gotta say you put forward the best theory which 99% is also the true story of this game. I am really happy for this ending to the story of our main character, he deserved it. Cross actually got fired after failing to catch the player hence why he became a bounty hunter according to the actor who played him when he mentioned cross in the collectors edition of Carbon.
The character is the same in both UG1 & 2, then would be someone else in MW & Carbon (same person in those two games of course). People keep saying they are all the same character, but they are not the same one throughout all of the ones stated. That is just what i had mentioned, fan theories fan fiction & headcanon. Can make your own headcanon, stories & the like sure, but it does not mean it is the same character. Some people will try & use even the slightest connections, some things would be misinterpreted, and that clearly means this character is ryan cooper, according to many. Even with what Rog says early in in MW05, "Let's see how you do in the daylight" the player could just be some generic racer who was racing at nighttime. That does not mean they are the character from UG1 & 2, and though references are made to the fact that ryan was street racing, it once again does not mean he is the character from MW05 & Carbon, or the character from UG1 & 2. Or according to the fan fiction & headcanon of many, they are all the same person. Even that little reference to ryan in Undercover (was a nice little one), that clearly shows you are not playing as him. But yes, even with the smallest bit of evidence, no matter how well put together a video is (this one being a good little video, though it is just fan theories/headcanon) does not make this one character, from UG1 to Undercover, and beyond, the same person. At most, they are the same one of course in UG1 & 2, then a different character but the same one in both MW05 & Carbon. Also early on in MW2012's development, when it was still called MW2, the character there was the same one from MW05 & carbon. As he says how long he'd been on the run for in the first cutscene, and some police officer over the radio at the end mission of this one build said he "still remains the most wanted". So that was going to be a thing, can look up early builds of the game on youtube to see this. But of course that all changed heavily, and is now just some generic racer, that character is. So yes, while this is a decent video, it is just fan theories & headcanon, along with misinformation that has been spread over the years. And thus, does not mean the one character is ryan cooper the whole time.

Actually ryan cooper isn't the player of most wanted and carbon because player finished his career in palmont which his home town.plus player can't be the undercover protagonist in TRI city because you that the player is the most wanted racer in Rockport and he would be arrested for more years because the crimes he committed in rockport.and I think player had either retired from racing because in 2005 and 2006 in the beta busted from mw you will see that he is in his mid 20 -25 yrs.so cooper isn't player

But the way you connected all these games and their stories in a chronological way, i really just want to restart the whole series again from scratch and actually go deep into the storyline...

This makes so much sense in so many ways, not going to lie I almost shed a tear for the player knowing where his racing finally ended and seeing the photo showing his last time racing for the series, the player was with us for 12 long years and beat pretty much the entire world he’s in, hailed as the greatest racer of all time. Wish they would make a need for speed game of the players kid or something showing the players child working his/her way up to finally meet his/her father and race him one on one and you play as the players child of course to ultimately finally get that face reveal of the player himself even though the player is ultimately just you, you are the player, so I guess it kinda wouldn’t work for a face reveal, but we could see the events take place through his point of view after the race ends where the players child reveals him/herself as his child. That is a need for speed game I would love to play in today’s time.

Makes no sense. It's like some wet fanfic theory. It's fitting only, if you forget any logic and common sense. The main protagonist of MW and Carbon( maybe UG1 and 2, because is just hinted a little bit)is not Ryan. His story is in Pro Street, Shift one and two. He is arrested in Undercover. What happened after that with him it's not very clear. The main protagonist in Undercover is a different character, undercover cop, a real cop, not just someone hired. Also the main protagonist of Hot persuit and Rivals is different again. Ryan story is only in Pro Street, Shift 1 and 2. The story of the protagonist with BMW is Carbon and MW, also is hinted by Rog, that very possible he is in UG 1 and 2, but one is obviously, his story end for good in Carbon. If you think logically, his story starts in Playmont with his exile and ends in Playmont, when he beating the man responsible for his exile, clear his reputation and name and win back his gf. I don't know why so many fans think, that in all games is one and only one character. It is not. And if you think logicall and without the main goal to put Ryan everywhere, you will see, that is not logical, he to be everywhere and all the time. Using this mindset, if i want, i can prove, that the main protagonist is Razor and to make one big plot twist 😂😂😂 and to make up everything to fits my theory. The answer is more simple, just different character.

@@xDuviDx yeah man, not every racing games has to be always about racing too, if racing games can't have stories, then CoD should've become a mindless shooter too, no objective, you just kill soldiers from point A to B, in fact every games has it's own loop, and has it's own grinding and rewards like NFS too, it's mostly the story that become the backbone of the game itself.
Something I always found funny is that without a doubt, the protagonists of NFS Most Wanted and NFS Carbon are supposed to be the same person, how ever the character models have completely different faces and head shape when you remove the blur effect in the busted cut scenes. I guess it'd make sense not to have it consistent considering the only time you're supposed to see his face is when it's blurred. Still something to think about though.

It's actually always been my headcanon that the games were connected by the same player being you. It's pretty mindblowing to see it all laid out, there's connections here I really was not expecting.
Personally, I took it even further with another EA game: the F1 series. They added a "My Team" mode in 2021 where you make your own character that has somehow gotten the funding to start their own F1 team for themselves to compete. They are known as the "Owner Driver" which is a classification we haven't seen in real F1 in decades.
In my headcanon, Player realizes that he's almost reached the top of motorsport after beating the Speed Icons. So he leaves it all behind, sells his entire fleet, and decides to go legit one more time. He enters the pinnacle of motorsport with his own F1 team and eventually becomes the World Driver Champion, further cementing his status as the greatest racer of all time.

Great explanation and connection of the stories but I have a couple of things to say
Darius didn't pay off Cross, that's why Cross wants Nikki to make sure he got paid and says "Just a bounty hunter, and I always get paid. Just make sure I do." Nikki pays the player's bounty (which should have been around 15 million, not 150k but it's irrelevant at this point) and saves him
I also don't think the protagonist in Undercover is the main character (or Ryan Cooper) as the police radio suggests he is caught while the protagonist is listening to it (unless it's an older recording)

This is such a well done video you did on the NFS story in chronological order, hats off to you, AND props to you on this one, I’ve always thought that the Player was a completely different person after Carbon, but now, thanks to you, I now know the Player’s story in chronological order up until 2015, you’ve done what no OTHER NFS UA-camr has even come close to doing, at all. I’ve also never known that there was a real story after ProStreet and Undercover, but now I know. The NFS series has such a connected timeline, that it’s not even funny, seriously. This video is worth rewatching to fully understand it, THAT’S how good it is!! The NFS community always has something up it’s sleeve, even if we still don’t have anything new yet, as of now.

I knew beforehand that Need for Speed Underground 1 and 2 were connected stories, but hearing this fan thorny that the “player” has been on this long journey, from starting low in Underground 1 all the way to Most Wanted 2012, that’s one heck of a legacy. I remember my first Need For Speed game was Need for Speed Underground. I’ll always have such fun memories of trying to beat that game, and I still haven’t to this day haha. I gotta get back to playing that game and beat the levels, same with Underground 2 and Most Wanted. I’ve never played any other Need for Speed Games that much besides those 3. NFS lore is so big that it gets harder and harder to understand it. It gets more difficult to understand after 2015. That bmw is seen almost in every nfs game. In payback its abandoned, in heat it’s caught by police, in unbound it’s being delivered to razor. But also lets not forget about mobile version of nfs(no limits). There is an event called “urban legends” where we get this bmw and we can keep it if we win new blacklist at blackridge city. And also there is an event for Bugatti chiron (25 years anniversary) and through whole event we complete nfs legend games such as prostreet, underground, etc. But at the end of the event we fight mistery boss on nissan gtr. And guess who it is? It is player. As soon as we win him he tells us that “Olympic city… Bayview… Rockport… Palmont city… These are my cities. But Blackridge, I don’t need convincing. This one is yours. One day you’ll join me in infamy. I know it. Keep it up” but that’s not it. If you have that legendary bmw he says this “Oh.. and thanks for looking after the M3”

actually, you don't play as Ryan Cooper in Undercover, Ryan is brought up in one or two different occasions during the game though, one of them is when you have to steal a McLaren F1, and the other time is just from one of those random bits of police chatter when you wait around in free roam long enough.
EDIT: ok, so you brought up the second thing that I mentioned, but also, given how Undercover works, whenever there's one of those Police radio dialogues, it spawns in some patrol cars, so that's why I think Ryan isn't the character you play as in Undercover, but instead just some random no name undercover cop.
2nd EDIT: also, technically, Ryan Cooper was there for the end of NFS Payback, as he's one of the racers during part 1 and 2 of the Outlaws Rush.

Totally right man. This is the true theory. Ryan is not the main protagonist in MW and Carbon. This main protagonist is no named and you play with him in MW and Carbon, and very possible in UG1 and 2, because is hinted by Rog. And all from UG 1 to Carbon fits perfectly and is very logical. But after with Ryan and all these BS becomes wet fanfic dream. Also Ryan is not the character in Undercover. So bay bay uncover cop theory too. The story of the owner of BMW end in Carbon. From the storyline perspective his story starts in Playmont and ends there in NFS Carbon.

This proves that the player and "Ryan Cooper" are two different people.
The theory of the Tri-City Bay cops, who were Blackbox's easiest and dumbest cops, running this elaborate conspiracy to cover up the identity of Ryan Cooper, who, according to the theory in this video, is Most Wanted on a National level, by faking his arrest is not just a stretch, it's a goddamn rip and tear. Why would they do that when they can just hire some actually trained undercover officer to do it?
Also, there's no proof that Ryan went legit and we play as him in Shift. If anything, Undercover proves that after becoming Street King in ProStreet, Ryan Cooper went back into his life of crime.
Also, there is no conclusive proof that Ryan Cooper was the protagonist of NFSU1, NFSU2, NFSMW, and NFSC. The player character in the Underground series has no real provable link to the Carbon-Most Wanted story or the ProStreet story, so the only reasonable assumption is that they are different characters.
The fan theory of the BMW M3 GTR sounds solid, until you realize that the actual engine and transmission of the M3 GTR are no longer in production. Ghost Games really fucked up with the story here, just bringing back the BMW for nostalgiabaiting. It makes no sense in the story.

If you complete all the Outlaw missions (SPOILER ALERT the Outlaw is Trevor) after you meet him to congratulate you for succeeding in his cop chasing missions he says the exact line “Welcome back from the dead brother” assuming he knows who you are and what you have accomplished.

3:45 We can't say he bought the m3 gtr for sure though, as there is no possible way you can buy a race car that isn't road legal and is only built for race tracks.
And it is not possible to buy a stock m3 and put the parts together as most of the gtr's parts are not available to the public. There's two ways ryan cooper could've gotten it: Ryan must've been racing legally for some time or somehow snuck into a legal race and when he got behind the wheel of an m3 gtr he somehow bailed the race and left the track and then changed the livery of the m3 gtr to something of his own. OR he could've somehow found an abandoned m3 gtr and used the sponsorship money to repair it. There's no telling on how he got the paperwork (pinkslip) for the car as there is no way he could've obtained it legally.

Someone needs really needs to make this into a netflix series. Following on from your conclusion:
Player, who from your plot we can say is Ryan Cooper from Prostreet, is eventually arrested and serves prison time following the events of NFS Payback, in which he makes an appearance as one of the Payback protagonists' opponents. Later on in NFS Heat, Player/Ryan Cooper's M3 GTR ends up in Mercer's hands, after it had been repaired and sold by Darius many years prior. Darius may well have paid the police to impound it, in order to keep it away from Player/Ryan Cooper. Anyway, after Mercer unsuccessfully tries to escape in it, the M3 is eventually recovered (possibly repaired and later sold, as opposed to being impounded, given that Mercer had impounded the car illegally). In NFS Unbound, Ryan Cooper retrieves his M3 after being released from prison, and the two are back together (in Unbound, there is a mission in which you deliver the M3 GTR to someone who had just been released from prison and was looking to acquire the car).
Now for the ultimate plot twist: In an unprecedented crossover, Ryan Cooper enters the 2025 Horizon Festival, set in Japan, as one of Forza Horizon 6's antagonists (a Horizon game with bosses, like the original). Ryan Cooper goes far in the Horizon Festival, but is eliminated shortly before the final. The FH6 player then beats Ryan Cooper in a 1-on-1 race and wins the M3. Ryan Cooper takes the loss well, given this is the first time he will has lost fair and square. Following this, Ryan Cooper, now in his 40s and clear of any police charges, returns to the United States, reinstates his relationship with Nikki, and winds up living a relatively calm life.

But a problem that I have with this is that the timeline jumps all over the place, making it inconsistent.
My head cannon is that there are multiple protagonists, and this is it:
My version of players arc is the same in the beginning. Players arc goes from Underground, but he ends with the alias Ryan Cooper as his arc ends with Shift 2, with undercover happening before shift
Player 2 is a cop, his story Is that he starts off as a cop in Seacrest County, then transferred to Redview county.
To me Zephyr's story is Hot Pursuit, Most Wanted 2012, and Rivals. Zephyr started out as a low time street racer in Seacrest, eventually becoming most wanted there, then he moved to Fairhaven City to become most wanted, and also gaining the alias "Zephyr". He then moves to Redview to become the top racer there. But eventually getting arrested
So to me the cop from Rivals and Zephyr have had beef since 2010.
Onto Player 3's story, His arc is Rivals, 2015, and Heat.
Starting out as a street racer from Rivals, it was his goal to be the best driver out there. But after Zephyrs race, he moved out of Redview, all the way down to Ventura Bay. He became the top racer there. After that it was his goal to be the best driver of the USA, so he started to gain rep in big cities all around the US, starting with Palm City.

15:10 i believe the player is F-8 (fate), not the cop that you play with in-game
my own head canon for this is that the player does indeed become a cop, but off-screen, he climbs thr ough the ranks during the racer campaign, becomes the top cop and goes to Redview County. Meanwhile the racer from the classic saga (NFS 1 until Hot Pursuit 2) decides to take on Seacrest County's best, gets a Porsche Boxter to start with and does what he wanted to. After that, few days after F-8 left, the racer personally approaches the PD's headquarters and decides to enter the police force to become the ultimate enforcer. He then goes to Redview after F-8 became an elite cop, and then we get to the point of F-8 being the former Ryan Cooper. As for MW2012, it is basically in the limbo, with its own self-contained "story", and 2015 takes place right after No Limits, where the racer from that game defeats Darius King and the Royals (wich were the real final crew before the Bloodfangs were added) and goes to Ventura Bay. Payback is, again, a self-contained story, tied in with Heat and Pro Street because of the Rivera family being in the game and Gallo Rivera having a close relationship with Tyler and Aki Kimura making his appearance after getting humiliated by Ryan Cooper. Unbound, The Run for the Wii and Nitro is unrelated to anything too it seems

That’s actually a really good idea. A lot of theories i read about say that Ryan’s story ends here, where he gets arrested. This is a very interesting change.
In the Hot Pursuit 2010 game, I believe that The Racer (i think he’s known as “Spectre” in No Limits?)’s story runs parallel to The Player (Cop)’s story. After the events of NFSHP2010, he gets beaten, with multiple different racers claiming the title until it reaches the “No Limits” Player. (Pursuit Legends Event, NFS No limits)
As for Rivals, my interpretation of the story is that Zephyr and Fate’s stories are intertwined, where Zero Hour (Cop’s final Mission) takes place during Grand Tour (Racer’s final Mission), and Zephyr’s crash at the end of the race is caused by Fate.
In other words, even though it seems almost as if the two careers are separate, as seen in the respective cutscenes, i believe that in a sort of “True Timeline”, Zephyr’s crash is indirectly caused By Fate, who had also ended up crashing. This connects the two careers nicely, which is why I believe that this would be a “True” Timeline.
Though, the only issue is that this theory might fall apart due to the circumstances of No limits, since it’s kind of ambiguous where it takes place, or whether it impacts the story in any way. In the “Urban Legends” event, the “Player” leaves the M3 GTR with “No Limits Player”, which contradicts the M3 being in Heat. The only possible reason could likely be that the M3 is simply another replica.
Assuming No limits isn’t canon, then i am willing to say that my theory was wrong.

@@AiMoun I feel like it has to be NFS: MW, that was one of the only ones which I have old clear memories of which I played in the series. But I actually also have played other titles like undercover (on PS2), No Limits (I mean it was free so I tried it lol), ProStreet (played a small bit on some ps3, was used to a different type of gameplay nfs wise, so didn't enjoy it much, but it was still decent game). I probably have experienced other ones but don't either remeber or knew I was playing nfs lol. Like I have vague memories of playing something which I think was the very early versions of NFS. It's just that MW is what I really enjoyed and get hit by the nostalgia when I play it.

I wanna know what happened to Mia after the events of Most Wanted where the player is going back to Palmont City. Where did she go after that? I know that she's an undercover police officer that is pretending to be a street racer all along, but did she replaced Cross as the new sergeant?
Cross became a bounty hunter in Carbon, you know. The part that he drives a Corvette Z06 in the canyon and he wants revenge to take you out because of your reckless driving getaway in Rockport then travelled to Palmont. He lost his job because he failed to arrest the player and adds him in the Most Wanted list. You and Cross are in Lookout Point, beginning the first Canyon chase.
My opinion tho, if Mia appeared in Carbon as one of your allies, she would definitely repair your M3 GTR after it got totaled in Lookout Point, where she will notify you when you win one of the races in Silverton. There, all of your crew members such as Neville, Nikki, Colin, etc... will fix it with some improvements. When they are finished repairing your M3, the player must use it in order to smoke Darius and his Audi Le Mans Quattro once and for all.

Wish the story is a true NFS saga. If Ryan was actually racing in around 2003 and retire in 2015 means he has 13 years of racing career, also close coincidence the M3 GTR which he acquire in 2005 showed up again in 2019 which itself has raced around 14 years.
Good to know it is in the good hand, the new "Heat" players.
I think EA made clear that Ryan's story is done and now it's up to NFS players to write their own.

I played Undercover s whole bunch and never thought of the protagonist as being the guy from the NFS games from Underground to Prostreet

Man those were really good times when companies(especially EA) and developers cared so much about their games and fans. Aside from all this, I gotta say you put forward the best theory which 99% is also the true story of this game. I am really happy for this ending to the story of our main character, he deserved it. Although I didn't quite liked what happened with our og M3 GTR, I mean after all this we just deliever it back to Razor😔

Cross actually got fired after failing to catch the player hence why he became a bounty hunter according to the actor who played him when he mentioned cross in the collectors edition of Carbon.
The character is the same in both UG1 & 2, then would be someone else in MW & Carbon (same person in those two games of course). People keep saying they are all the same character, but they are not the same one throughout all of the ones stated. That is just what i had mentioned, fan theories fan fiction & headcanon. Can make your own headcanon, stories & the like sure, but it does not mean it is the same character. Some people will try & use even the slightest connections, some things would be misinterpreted, and that clearly means this character is ryan cooper, according to many. Even with what Rog says early in in MW05, "Let's see how you do in the daylight" the player could just be some generic racer who was racing at nighttime. That does not mean they are the character from UG1 & 2, and though references are made to the fact that ryan was street racing, it once again does not mean he is the character from MW05 & Carbon, or the character from UG1 & 2. Or according to the fan fiction & headcanon of many, they are all the same person. Even that little reference to ryan in Undercover (was a nice little one), that clearly shows you are not playing as him. But yes, even with the smallest bit of evidence, no matter how well put together a video is (this one being a good little video, though it is just fan theories/headcanon) does not make this one character, from UG1 to Undercover, and beyond, the same person. At most, they are the same one of course in UG1 & 2, then a different character but the same one in both MW05 & Carbon. Also early on in MW2012's development, when it was still called MW2, the character there was the same one from MW05 & carbon. As he says how long he'd been on the run for in the first cutscene, and some police officer over the radio at the end mission of this one build said he "still remains the most wanted". So that was going to be a thing, can look up early builds of the game on youtube to see this. But of course that all changed heavily, and is now just some generic racer, that character is. So yes, while this is a decent video, it is just fan theories & headcanon, along with misinformation that has been spread over the years. And thus, does not mean the one character is ryan cooper the whole time.
