WOW! What an E3! Nintendo absolutely NAILED their presentation, bringing HYPE third party titles like Fortnite to the Nintendo Switch, as well as bringing back EVERY single character from Super Smash Bros, Super Smash Bros Melee, Super Smash Bros Brawl, and the wii u version! We also got another small peak at Lets Go Pikachu and Lets Go Eevee- which is SO exciting! In my opinion, Nintendo definitely outdid both Sony and Microsoft for E3 2018.

I have been watching Smash reactions for hours and yours was a very wonderful surprise. Not over the top, no pessimism or whining, not too much technical bitching... A pure, genuine, excited reaction.
I don't know if it's my fatigued state right now, but I very much enjoyed this one. ^_^ Also, yes. Zelda is so freakin' CUTE now! I thought BotW Zelda was adorkable, but this one beat her.
Why are some people's reactions to this presentation "Oh that looks bad, oh that looks broken" ?! How are they not exited about this??
Freddy Myers I think a lot of people let their speculation run wild after the March direct and convinced themselves that certain characters or mechanics were guaranteed ins without any reason or proof. The amount of people I’ve seen get mad that Bandana Dee, Goku, and Rex and Pyra weren’t announced as playable characters is laughable. What we’ve gotten so far is promising and based on what we saw at the invitational shows that the core mechanics seem solid with few bugs and there’s still 6 months left until release. Overall I think it looks great and that all the complaints I’ve seen from Smash fans are just whining

In my opinion the very first Mario Party is still the best one, even to this day!
I'd take the gameplay of the first Mario Party with the controls of the second one and the items from the third one. I can take or leave the other nine(?).
Can we stop talking about Mario Party? I'm still sore for how it infected other franchises in a bad way. And I mean Amiibo Festival and Smash Tour.
We could have had a serious Animal Crossing and Story Mode for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.

Yeah, A Link Between Worlds was a real disappointment. But what's funny, is that that look for Zelda actually debuted in A Link To The Past, not A Link Between Worlds! We're essentially getting the SNES era Zelda here. Which I wholeheartedly support. She has never had a more universally appealing design.

this reminded me of my reaction to it all, i was so thankful for everything shown... but when ridley showed up, i was SO happy i actually broke down crying, like full-on bawling, face was soaked and everything.
after the heartbreak with smash 4's buildup, i was so broken i actually didn't realize what i was looking at until the reveal was almost over. XD

Wow, you're so full of pure energy! I love it so much! I'm with you on needing a story in Smash, and I do hope you'll get into Fire Emblem; I mean, it's mostly thanks to Marth and Roy being in Melee that we North Americans even have Fire Emblem. : )
I agree. My brothers and I always enjoyed Subspace Emissary, and I can testify to Fire Emblem's goodness.

Once Snake was revealed I knew they went all out. And they did. This game is fractions away from perfect

Nintendo has not only won E3 again but they've also broke the Internet into utter pandemonium once again. as for Daisy and Ridley I've been wondering when they would make Daisy more than a color pallet of Peach and as for Ridley they most likely have downsized him from his European dragon Metroid Prime design to his just slightly taller than Samus original Metroid size.

Lol they're last e3 In 2017 and 2016 was straight up terrible lmao. They din't won whatsoever just because of one game, and what about the people who are not into smash? They got dissapointed big time. Microsoft definently took it this year.

It must be quite hard to comment on things when you're not super familiar with the source material. I can definitely see that she's not the biggest Smash fan (and the Ridley reveal was a bit painful haha).
One correction, Ryu debuted in Smash for WiiU and 3ds. Great reaction though!

Still don't know if there is a story mode...but I think the fact that zero suit samus jumped out of the ship in the end was a sneak peak to story mode....(attention to detail)
How did you feel when Simon, Richter, Chrom, Dark Samus, King K. Rool, Isabelle, Ken, Incineroar, Piranha Plant and Joker were playable?
You will love the last Direct because it is epic.
They won E3 but only because of Smash, their victory would have been even bigger if they took more time presenting more things. 40 minutes was too short :/

They didn't win because it was especially good, they won because the others were worse. Smash is literally the only thing that i actually care about that was presented on this year's E3.

I'm actually pretty hype for zelda -- since her low placement in melee I've always liked playing around with her, ultimately finding SSF2's zelda to be my favorite actually. Hoping she ends up a good character in this one :D

smash segment won e3... nintendo's e3 as a whole was considere to be pretty weak... specially comparing it to their last e3. i think microsoft (i dont even have an xbox) was the most engaging out of all the press conferences. everyone else's was pretty awkward with all the music performances and guests.

Nintendo definitely didn't win E3 by a long shot, announcing a game we already knew about as their main focus.
Σcκz You mean like exactly what Sony did except for games we’ve already seen gameplay from? Oh wait, I forgot, EA made a surprising announcement or two, new FIFA and Madden games. But oh wait, no, Ubisoft won, they showed off...uh....well, wait, Microsoft...had one teaser trailer and two cinematic trailers for previously shown games, and tons of non exclusives...uh...Square Enix? Oh, the same Kingdom Hearts trailer? Well, at least Bethesda showed off a few words on a screen.
But all Nintendo did was show us gameplay for the biggest entry in one of their best series.
