I'm more concerned about the imbalance in the Supreme Court than Biden's mental status. If Trump wins with the court 6 to 3 in his favor I think we are beyond screwed. I wish Biden would pull a Trump tactic and pack the court.

Biden doesn't have the spine to pack the court or resign
When did Trump pack the court? Packing the court stands for increasing the number of seats so that no mater who dies you can have it your way in one 4 year cycle. So in theory the republican majority (so called) means they could get as high as 6-3. Packing the court means you add 4 more seats and fill them with Dems and you now win 7-6.
It leaned democrat for 40 years. Does anyone know when it was last a dem minority? Also Barret, the Trump appointee, and establishment choice voted against Trump, as do other republican appointees frequently. And Jackson voted for some of the most controversial "Republican" votes. Roberts often votes with the Dems. Conservatives are pissed that Trump took advice from establishment sources and basically stacked it with Lincoln Project people who are establishment shills, and mostly vote that way, which is how the Dem members vote. He was very "balanced" unless you think democracy means only democrats at every level of everything. The court itself is more concerned about it's role than anything else. People just assume they are corrupt and that is bad for the country.
Roe was a great example of a ruling that was wrong on the law when it happened, and changed twice after; was no longer popular as a policy (maybe as a word); And now that it is gone, abortions due to pills, are higher than ever. Killing Roe was also really bad politics, so they are loosing on that also. People get tied up in knots over the propaganda.

I think the only way Biden may alleviate voters' fears about his age related deterioration is to select three of the nation's top gerontologists (the Surgeon General selects one, Biden's personal physician selects another, and Dr. Anthony Fauci selects the third) to each do an independent medical workup on the President and mae each doctor's finding public along with one consensus finding of the three after discussing among them. The voters of the U.S. are entitled to have this information. If Biden balks at this (or similar) process, he should be asked to step aside.

Your remarks are very encouraging to me as I’ve been so frightened for a country after the Supreme Court’s decision on immunity. And, also, the reaction to Biden’s performance at the debate. The sidestepping around having a full neurological exam, whether he has had one or not, is the equivalent of lying. He has obvious signs of parkinsonism which would be worrying to witness in anybody let alone the president. Even though he shows no obvious signs of dementia his diminished executive function puts his ability to make good judgements in question. His ability to communicate, which is integral to his position as leader, is also seriously impaired by aphasia and masked facies.

The courts decide what is official and unofficial. The norm has been to grant Presidents immunity for official acts for decades. Scotus just affirmed what has been the unspoken agreement. And they specifically said it is not absolute immunity.

What they maybe, however, weren’t designated by either person.
So, I can only speculate that they would include Biden signing the Executive Order to greatly inhibit mining or drilling of fossil fuels. And, quite likely, they would cheer on Biden claiming he “created 15 million jobs”, which, of course, is as big furphy in the US, as it is with Canada, or any other country, which locked down their economies during Covid that engendered many millions of people being made redundant. Hence, the “15 million jobs” Biden (and, again, with a host of other countries, too) that Joe claims he “created” are overwhelmingly jobs that already existed and started up again after restrictions were lifted.
Alas, neither Robert or Heather had anything to say about Biden, dismantling the southern border and allow up to 10 million people to swarm in and in the OVERWHELMING degree became entire, to net-burdens upon the economy. One aspect of this prevails with the 450,000 people under the age of 15. And the cost to the US economy to just sustain them in a 12-month period is NEAR ON $4.7 billion. But I will say the Stephanopoulos interview was one long, relentless bullying session trying to get Biden to say he’s not good enough. Also, when asked if he would take a thorough neurological and cognitive assessment, he basically deferred to his doctor’s recommendations, which is what most of us would also do. And as shown in the chart below, 4 of the past 5 months have seen payrolls revised lower.

It's not about the number of jobs. Which he didn't create. The economy rebounded from the Pandemic's end. Also, they are sad, relatively low paying jobs. The inflation, and the Fed's archaic attempt to stop it by raising the interest rate like in the days when most people bought new houses or cars on credit. Almost nobody can afford new houses or cars. The real reason Inflation cannot be stopped is because of the law of supply and demand. Young people don't simply inherit their parents houses or buy new houses anymore, they rent so rent has jumped very high because 1. Landlords can charge it knowing people will pay, and 2. Property Taxes keep increasing as the governments keep trying to find ways to increase revenue. So, they both pass on the cost to renters, and take advantage of the big demand. The economy is falling in precisely the same way the Western Roman Empire's did throughout the last 150 years or so of it's existence, it's happening much faster with the USA right now. You can't have runaway inflation, a country with two extremely different factions that don't like each other and can't compromise, where Men and Women can't see eye to eye enough to build healthy families to produce enough new people to sustain. A stable healthy population. Something's wrong when you need immigration to maintain a stable population, abd not shrink and age like Japan is.

Why are people still talking about this? Biden will never drop out. He won't. Even if his approval falls to zero and his donors stop. He doesn't believe the polls. He doesn't believe anyone except his own faith in himself. Nobody can replace him if he is unwilling. The DNC was actively suppressing the primary. No town halls, no debates, media boycotts. Some states even used tricks to not have a primary like Florida. It was shameful. What most ppl don't realize is once you move out, you have no say at all in anything in this country. Many would say we don't living here, either. Not true. We still vote. We still can tell our politicians what we think of them and if it's only when they run for reelection that they ever care, it's still my opinion, or my life they would care about, even if it's temporary. Outside, you don't matter because you can't vote for them.
As long as we can vote, atleast we still have some say.

From the onset, I will make it abundantly clear that, I, who is ideologically the antithesis of just about everything progressives advocate, am not looking for a quarrel to defend Trump. Because it’s an indisputable reality that Trump is exceedingly deluded. And this is decidedly so with his trade, and foreign affairs/defence policies.
However, it is also an indisputable reality that the extremes within the Dems are as crazy as the extremes within the MAGA mold happen to be. During the 26-minute UA-cam, Robert Reich, and Heather said on a total of four occasions that the Biden administration has inaugurated a number of good policies. What they maybe, however, weren’t designated by either person.
So, I can only speculate that they would include Biden signing the Executive Order to greatly inhibit mining or drilling of fossil fuels. And, quite likely, they would cheer on Biden claiming he “created 15 million jobs”, which, of course, is as big furphy in the US, as it is with Canada, or any other country, which locked down their economies during Covid that engendered many millions of people being made redundant. Hence, the “15 million jobs” Biden (and, again, with a host of other countries, too) that Joe claims he “created” are overwhelmingly jobs that already existed and started up again after restrictions were lifted.
Alas, neither Robert or Heather had anything to say about Biden, dismantling the southern border and allow up to 10 million people to swarm in and in the OVERWHELMING degree became entire, to net-burdens upon the economy. One aspect of this prevails with the 450,000 people under the age of 15. And the cost to the US economy to just sustain them in a 12-month period is NEAR ON $4.7 billion. I arrive at this calculation by multiplying 450,000 x $200pw x by 52 weeks.

The primary alternative to Joe in a poor cognitive state, is Kamala Harris, who in the 40 odd months as the VP, has proven herself to be a calamitous incompetent. So having certain parties claiming that she would “wipe the floor in any debate with Trump.” Well, judging from the numerous interviews she has been questioned in from about June 2020, totally defies Robert’s claim that Harris is a great debater.
Anyone who has taken care of an elderly parent is concerned about Biden. Many don’t want to vote for either but many undecided may choose DT. Many elderly with loss of mental and physical capacity will deny and are defiant. This is what I saw in the interview. I’m afraid for our country.
