I put a Lindy Fralin Big Single Mini (42 gauge wire option) in the neck position of my Vela. It sounds like the PRS factory pickup without the noise and it drops in perfectly!
Only one Prs which looks almost nice IMHO. Others are too refined and too toyish. But this ugly headstock... There is something in it design why i couldn't stand for it.

I think the Vela is the most interesting PRS guitar. My S2 594 is a keeper based on the neck profile alone, great guitar. My next PRS will be a Vela

Would love to see the offset body in some more models. Looks super slick imho. And the Regular neck is my preffered PRS carve... Fingers crossed 👍

Semi hollow, yes. The other specs, not yet that I'm aware of...kinda makes it a different guitar (like a semi-hollow custom 24)?

I think they’ve moved to USA made pickups on the S2 line, so they swapped the D type for the NF.
